Abstract

This research is focusing on the efford to enhance students’s understanding, especially for those who have not complete the minimum mark attainment, through peer teaching remedial learning  at 12th Natural Science 3 class, academic year 2018/2019. This is an action class research. Data in this research are qualitative dan quantitative. Qualitative data were gained throughobservation towards students’s activities during peer theaching remedial learning process and through interview. While quantitative data were gathered from daily score and from the test after treatment finishing. The result of the research showed that there is an improvement of students’s understanding through the peer teaching activity. It is showed by the higher percentage of students’s who could reach the minimum score attainment in one basic competence, and it was revealed that students were more active and enthusiastic to ask questions and explanations to their while the remedial teaching took place.

Abstract

This article discusses the differences in students' mathematical problem solving skills based on their level of mathematical anxiety, and the effect of mathematical anxiety on their mathematical problem solving skills. The instruments used in this study were mathematics anxiety questionnaires and mathematics problem solving ability tests. The data were analyzed by two-way ANOVA. The results of this study shows that: there are differences in students' mathematical problem solving skills at the anxiety level of the low, medium and high categories; and there is a negative influence of mathematics anxiety on the ability to solve mathematical problems with an influence value of 86.3%.

Abstract

Self efficacy is a basic belief in learning, especially learning mathematics, because self efficacy can have a strong effect that can show students' self-confidence, when students have a high self-efficacy category, students can solve problems in learning mathematics well. This study aims to analyze the self efficacy of students in learning mathematics with the Search, Solve, Create, Share (SSCS) learning model. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The subjects in the study were students of class VIII SMPN 8 Bukittinggi and a sample of 30 people. The instrument used is a self efficacy questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis using the percentage of degrees of achievement. The results of the study were obtained that the self efficacy of students with the learning model given search, solve, create share there were 8 students in the high category, 21 students in the high enough category, and 1 student in the medium category. While overall the degree of achievement of students' self efficacy is in the high enough category. Where for each dimension of students' self efficacy is also in the high enough category.

Abstract

ABSTRACT ABD. HAKIM, NIM 2220010006 Thesis "Differences between Project Based Learning and Self Directed Learning Models on PAI and BP Learning Outcomes for Class X Students of Mechanical Engineering Department of SMK Negeri 5 Padang". Postgraduate Islamic Religious Education Study Program at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes achieved by students. It can be seen that the learning process is less than optimal, so that an active, creative and meaningful learning process has not yet been realized, where during the learning process the teacher is still using learning that is not yet relevant. This research discusses the differences between the Project Based Learning learning model and the Self Directed Learning learning model on PAI and BP learning outcomes for class X students of the Mechanical Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. This research uses a quantitative experimental design method, randomized control group posttest only design by applying the Project Based Learning learning model in the experimental class in class X.1, totaling 36 people and the control class in class X.2, totaling 36 people. The instrument used by researchers was a test of learning outcomes on the material The Role of Ulama Figures in the Spread of Islam in Indonesia (Method of Islamic Da'wah by Wali Songo in Java). Research data on student learning outcomes was collected through a learning outcomes test with 20 objective questions, then analyzed using SPSS version 20. The findings from this research were that there were differences in PAI and BP learning outcomes on the material on the Role of Ulama Figures in the Spread of Islam in Indonesia (Da'wah Method Islam Wali Songo in Tanah Java) Class This is proven based on the results of the analysis, it is found that t count > t table, namely 3.957 > 2.028, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi guru PAI di SMA mengenai pemanfaatan aplikasi Quizizz sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran. Metode dalam tulisan ini adalah kuantitatif dekriptif dengan menggunakan intrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah dua puluh depan yang terdiri dari satu orang kepala sekolah, satu orang wakil kurikulum, empat orang guru PAI serta dua puluh dua orang peserta didik untuk memperluat data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat enam persepsi guru PAI mengenai pemanfaatan aplikasi Quizizz sebagai alat evaluasi, keenam persepsi tersebut ialah 1) pentingnya pemahaman guru pai terhadap evaluasi, sebanyak 33% responden mengatakan setuju dan 67% responden mengatakan sangat setuju. 2) Pentingnya wawasan guru pai tentang aplikasi quizizz, terdapat 25% responden setuju, 75% sangat setuju. 3) Efisien untuk melaksanakan tes, terlihat 50% responden menyatakan setuju, 33% responden sangat setuju, dan 17% responden mengatakan tidak setuju. 4) Mempermudah analisis tingkat kesukaran soal, 83% responden sangat setuju, dan 17% responden setuju. 5) Memudahkan guru melihat nilai peserta didik secara keseluruhan, memperlihatkan 50% responden sangat setuju dan 50% responden setuju, dan 6) menghilangkan ketakutan peserta didik terhadap tes, terlihat 50% responden menyatakan setuju, 33% responden sangat setuju, dan 17% responden mengatakan tidak setuju.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine students' communication skills and mathematical disposition in implementing problem-based learning strategies using the Geogebra application. This type of research was a quasi-experiment with a control group design. The subjects of this research were classes A and B. The population in this research was all students in the odd semester 2023/2024 who were taking the Plane and Space Geometry course, which consists of two classes that were tested using the t-test with data from the student's final test. Based on calculations of the results of students' mathematical communication skills, specifically the experimental class 81.00 and the control class 71.16. Thus, students' mathematical communication abilities in problem-based learning assisted by Geogebra were better than those in conventional education. On the other hand, the results of students' mathematical disposition abilities were 76.59 for the experimental class and 68.16 for the control class. Thus, students' mathematical disposition abilities in problem-based learning assisted by Geogebra were better than those in conventional education.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik yang belajar dengan google classroom. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang pendidik matematika di kelas XII IPA SMA Negeri 2 Solok. Instrumen dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Waktu penelitian pada bulan Desember 2020 di SMA Negeri 2 Solok. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa ada beberapa upaya yang dilakukan pendidik untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik yang belajar dengan google classroom: 1) Pendidik meminta peserta didik untuk meresume/meringkas kembali materi yang telah dipelajari. 2) Pendidik mengirimkan materi berupa file, powerpoint atupun video yang disajikan secara terstruktur dan dilengkapi  gambar. 3) Pendidik meminta peserta didik untuk menganalisis video dari materi pembelajaran. 4) Pendidik memberikan remedial untuk peserta didik yang belum tuntas dan memberikan pengayaan untuk peserta didik yang sudah tuntas. Jadi dapat disimpulkan ada beberapa upaya yang dilakukan pendidik dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik yang belajar dengan google classroom di kelas XII IPA SMA Negeri 2 Solok.

Abstract

This research aimsto develop a product in the form of Android-based learning media assisted by the Smart Apps Creator application which is valid, practical and effective and focuses on increasing students' learning motivation.This research uses the methodR&D with the ADDIE model (Aanlyze, Desaign, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), which was held on June 4, 2025 at SMA N 1 Ampek Nagari Class X. Data at this stageAnalyze obtained through interviews, at the level Design done early planning, at the level Development data collected through the results of the Validity test on the material, media and language aspects, at the stageImplementation Data was collected through practicality tests on teachers and students (small scale and large scale), at the stageEvaluation Data was obtained from the effectiveness of increasing student learning motivation based on the Pre-Test and Post-Test using N-Gain.Research resultin the form of a series of product development processes for learning media assisted by the Smart Apps Creator application in the PAI subject for class X at SMA N 1 Ampek Nagari. Validity in the material aspect obtained a score of 94%, in the media aspect obtained a score of 94% and in the language aspect obtained a score of 95%. The small-scale practicality test obtained a score of 96%, in the large-scale test obtained a score of 97%, and the teacher's practicality test obtained a score of 96%. The effectiveness test based on the Pre-Test and Post-Test using N-gain showed an average N-Gain result of 77% which is in a larger interpretation of 76% which can be said that the learning media assisted by the Smart Apps Creator application in the PAI subject is proven to be effective and able to increase learning motivation in students.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang terdapat dalam dunia pendidikan adalah rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik dan kurangnya minat peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Hal ini disebabkan karena bahan ajar berupa buku paket dan LKPD yang dirancang sendiri oleh pendidik masih kurang membantu peserta didik dalam pembelajaran dan kurangnya antusias peserta didik dengan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Berdasarkan hal itu dilakukanlah penelitian pengembangan pocket book berbasis STEM pada materi barisan dan deret untuk peserta didik kelas X. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan pocket book berbasis STEM yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Model ADDIE terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket praktikalitas, pedoman wawancara, dan tes efektifitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pocket book yang dikembangkan valid dengan nilai rata-rata , praktis dengan nilai rata-rata , dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dengan nilai rata-rata .

Abstract

Minangkabau memiliki beberapa daerah desa adat yang dinamakan nagari. Studi etnomatematika pada unsur kebudayaan universal masyarakat adat diperlukan sebagai salah satu usaha pelestarian budaya sekaligus menjebatani budaya lokal dan pembelajaran matematika modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji konsep matematis yang ada pada sistem mata pencarian, peralatan hidup dan teknologi serta penggunaannya dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian etnomatematika Alangui. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Nagari Pariangan dan Nagari Sijunjung Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Informan penelitian ini adalah pemuka adat, cadiak pandai dan pelaku budaya. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan.  Analisis data dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada sistem mata pencarian, peralatan hidup dan teknologi masyarakat adat Minangkabau terdapat konsep perbandingan, pengukuran dengan satuan tradisional, geometri transformasi, bangun ruang dan kalkulus serta optimasi. Aktivitas dan peralatan hidup serta teknologi dalam masyarakat adat di Minangkabau dapat digunakan sebagai konteks dalam pembelajaran matematika.Minangkabau has several traditional village areas called Nagari. Ethnomathematics studies on universal cultural elements of indigenous peoples are needed as an effort to preserve culture as well as bridge local culture and modern mathematics learning. This research aims to examine mathematical concepts that exist in livelihood systems, living equipment, and technology and their use in mathematics learning. The research uses a qualitative approach with an Alangui ethnomathematics research design. The research was conducted in Nagari Pariangan and Nagari Sijunjung, West Sumatra Province. The informants for this research are traditional leaders, clever cadiak, and cultural actors. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes.  Data analysis with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research show that in the livelihood system, living equipment, and technology of the Minangkabau indigenous people there are concepts of comparison, measurement with traditional units, transformation geometry, geometric shapes, and calculus and optimization. The activities and equipment of life and technology in indigenous communities in Minangkabau can be used as a context for learning mathematics.
