Abstract

The background of this research is that the majority of students who have social media experience addiction to social media as in class they steal situations to open cellphones to open social media (Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp). This study aims to determine the effect of applying self-management techniques through group guidance to overcome social media addiction in class XI MAN 4 Religion students in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses quantitative research with the type of research is experimental (pre-experimental designs one-group pretest-posttest design). The population in this study were 110 students of class XI MAN 4 Agam. Using a purposive sampling technique, a sample of 16 students who experienced high social media addiction was obtained. The data collection technique in this study used a social media addiction questionnaire with a closed questionnaire as well as data processing techniques and data analysis techniques using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 22.0 for Windows. Based on the data analysis, it shows that the value of rcount is 0.472 > rtable is 0.468, and by using a significance limit of 0.05. From the results of the study it also appears that with the application of self-management strategies 31.25% of students have low social media addiction and 68.75% of students have moderate social media addiction. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between self-management strategies through group guidance on social media addiction in students at MAN 4 Agam. Which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination obtained results of 98.5%. Based on this value, it can be interpreted that the effect of implementing self-management strategies on reducing social media addiction in students is 98.5%, while 1.5% is influenced by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari masalah yang terjadi kepada remaja di Nagari Lambah Sianok Kecamatan Ampek Koto Kabupaten  Agam, yang mana remaja tersebut mengalami perubahan kognitif dan kondisi emosional yang tidak stabil, melampiaskan rasa emosional dengan cara menyilet tangan sendiri sampai berdarah, menarik diri dari pergaulan dan timbul social anxiety disorder (rasa cemas berlebihan saat berinteraksi dengan orang lain). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling individual terhadap kesehatan mental pasca putus cinta pada remaja akhir di Nagari Lambah Sianok Kecamatan Ampek Koto Kabupaten Agam dengan pendekatan konseling individual. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian Pre-Eksperimen model One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Populasi adalah remaja akhir usia 18-21 tahun yang berjumlah 15 orang, sedangkan sampel penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti hanya berjumlah 1 orang, dikarenakan individu ini mengalami suatu gejala kesehatan mental yang  membutuhkan suatu layanan segera dan perlu cepat ditangani melalui pemberian treatment berupa layanan konseling individual. Instrument pengumpulan data adalah skala likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil dari  Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai z sebesar -4,009 dengan nilai sig. p-value sebesar 0,005 < ? (? = 0,05) yang artinya Hi diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kesehatan mental salah satu orang  remaja akhir  pasca putus cinta sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan. Pemberian penilaian segera, penilaian jangka pendek dalam layanan konseling individual, juga merupakan suatu alternatif untuk meningkatkan  kesehatan mental salah satu orang remaja akhir  yang mengalami permasalahan putus cinta, salah satu orang remaja akhir ini merasa lebih tenang, dapat mengontrol emosi dan dapat berpikir secara rasional setelah diberikan layanan  konseling individual.

Abstract

Bimbingan dan Konseling merupakan bagian integral dari pendidikan, baik itu pendidikan disekolah maupun diluar sekolah. Pada dasarnya, Bimbingan dan Konseling lebih banyak dijumpai dan dikenali di satuan pendidikan formal. Namun, seharusnya pendidikan informal juga membutuhkan layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling. Pada pendidikan informal sudah di implementasi layanan bimbingan dan konseling di MDA Jihadul Muhtadin yang berlokasi di Jorong Koto Tinggi Nagari Surian kab. Solok. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana implementasi bimbingan dan konseling di pendidikan informal seperti MDA. Selain itu, juga untuk melihat perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dekskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi layanan BK di MDA Jihadul Muhtadin berjalan sesuai dengan yang direncanakan dan diharapkan. BK yang diterapkan merupakan BK komprehensif. Tantangan dalam implementasi BK di MDA ini adalah materi layanan yang akan dipersiapkan harus benar-benar disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan santriwan dan santriwati dan harus menarik. Adapun hambatan yang dirasakan dalam implementasi BK di MDA adalah kurangnya SDM atau guru BK disana.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of social support that students receive from their parents as a form of social support in choosing students' future careers. Facing the transition to the world of work, students face various problems entering the world of work. Social support, especially from parents, will assist students in overcoming difficulties of confusion in choosing a career, lack of information obtained, and strengthening skills in entering the world of work. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with percentage data analysis techniques. The population is Guidance and Counseling final-year students, totaling 95 people with a total sampling technique. The results of the study illustrate that 65 respondents received social support in the high category, 12 respondents were included in the very high category, 13 respondents were included in the sufficient category and 5 respondents received low social support from their parents. Of the five aspects of social support, emotional support is the highest with an average score of 20.21, appreciation support 20.47, instrument support 19.96, information support 18.98, and social network support 15.26. There needs to be an increase in social support in the aspect of social networking from parents because it will provide broad opportunities for students to enter the world of work later.

Abstract

Career selection that is not in accordance with gender causes a gap in the role of a career that is being undertaken, this is because in choosing a career, men and women do not yet know the direction of their future careers according to gender. The objective to be achieved is to see the picture of career selection of SMKN 1 Padang Gelugur students in terms of Gender Stereotypes. This type of research is Quantitative Descriptive. The population in this study were grade XII students with the Total Sampling data collection technique, namely by taking all populations to be used as samples consisting of 38 male students and 38 female students. Data collection in the study used a questionnaire distributed to 76 students, then the data was analyzed using statistical tests. The data processing techniques used were editing, coding, tabulation/telling, finding the percentage of each research item, categorizing and interpreting. The results of the study provide an overview that overall career selection of male students is in the high category with an average percentage of 69.9% and for the overall career selection overview of female students has a percentage of 75% with a high category. It can be seen that the description of career choices is in accordance with the stereotypes of male and female genjer.
