Abstract

The important role of a regions transportation infrastructure strongly affects the economic growth of the region and tends to affect the surrounding areas. The effect is called spillover effect. The aim of the research was to recognize the direct effect and spillover effect (indirect) of transportation infrastructure on the economic growth in Central Java. To identify the spillover effects, it is necessary to recognize the different characteristics of each region which have the implications on the various transportation infrastructures at each region in Central Java. Therefore, the spatial modeling was conducted. In this study, the spatial modeling employed was Spatial Durbin Error Model (SDEM). The SDEM is another form of Spatial Error Model (SEM). It does not allow for lag effects of endogenous variables, but it allows for spatial error and spatial lag on exogenous variables in which it simplifies the interpretations on direct effects and spillover effect. According to SDEM estimates, the transportation infrastructures at the districts/municipalities in Central Java had no significant effect on the outputs at each region where the infrastructures were located and their neighboring districts/cities

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of student learning styles according to David Kolb's classification, to learn the average mathematical communication skills that have diverger learning styles, assimilators, convergers and accommodators, and to know whether or not there are significant differences in mathematical communication skills between students has a learning style diverger, assimilator, converger and accommodator. This research was conducted in MAN 2 Cirebon. The instruments used were the Learning style inventory (LSI) and mathematical communication skills tests. This type of research is a comparative study with a quantitative approach. Based on the results of data processing, the distribution of student learning styles included in diverger learning styles was 17% of students, assimilators were 27% of students, converger was 20% of students, and accommodators were 36% students. Using a scale of 0-50, the average mathematical communication ability of students is 28.63. Whereas when viewed from each distribution of learning styles, the ordinary mathematical communication skills of students diverger 12.80, students assimilator 32.88, student converger 44.17, and accommodator students 24.27. Based on the results of the analysis with the ANOVA test that there is a significant difference in students' mathematical communication skills between the learning style diverger, assimilator, converger and accommodator with a significant level of α = 5%.

Abstract

Tujuan pembelajaran Genetika terutama dalam kegiatan praktikum salah satunya adalah praktikan dapat memahami teknik pemisahan DNA dan memahami regulasi ekspresi gen, dengan melakukan kegiatan praktikum elektroforesis gel. Kemampuan siswa dalam memahami elektroforesis gel perlu dilatihkan pada praktikum genetika. Beberapa LPTK terkendala tidak memiliki perangkat praktikum elektroforesis gel, untuk itu, perlu diupayakan praktikum pengganti demi memenuhi tujuan pembelajaran. Virtual laboratorium merupakan salah satu solusi sebagai upaya memenuhi tujuan pembelajaran agar sesuai. Vitual lab elektroforesis dan PCR ini dimplementasikan secara eksperimental pada praktikan mahasiswa yang mengampu mata kuliah genetika dan praktikum. Data nilai laporan virtual lab diuji beda dengan praktikum real dengan amsumsi nilai laporan praktikum dengan varian yang sama dan dengan hipotesis nilai laporan praktikum virlab dan praktikum real tidak berbeda secara signifikan. Data uji perbedaan nilai laporan praktikum antara nilai laporan real dan virtual dengan uji beda t test menunjukkan bahwa nilai laporan praktikum virlab dan praktikum real tidak berbeda signifikan, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa virlab dapat digunakan sebagai pengganti praktikum real pada praktikum elektroforesis gel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) untuk menghasilkan sebuah perangkat instrumen penilaian berbasis proyek yang dapat membentuk kreativitas motorik siswa berupa Lembar Tugas Proyek pada materi transformasi geometri yang valid dan reliabel, serta 2) untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas siswa setelah menggunakan instrumen yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement dan Evaluate. Subjek uji coba dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah siswa kelas VIII E SMPN 1 Gempol dengan jumlah 32 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu 1) berdasarkan penilaian oleh validator ahli terhadap instrumen yang dikembangkan diperoleh rata-rata total validitas instrumen sebesar 3,81 termasuk kategori sangat valid, sedangkan hasil estimasi reliabilitas memperoleh nilai rata-rata Intraclass Correlation Coefficients (ICC) sebesar 0,711 yang termasuk kategori tinggi, serta 2) hasil perolehan skala menunjukkan bahwa siswa merespon positif terhadap semua indikatornya dan memperoleh rata-rata 78,12% yang termasuk ke dalam kriteria baik. Dalam hal ini, siswa merasa mempunyai kemampuan berkreasi yang lebih tinggi dan merasa bertanggung jawab atas tugasnya sehingga menjadi lebih aktif untuk melakukan berbagai kegiatan yang mengharuskan untuk menggerakkan anggota tubuhnya. Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan instrumen penilaian berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan ini efektif untuk membentuk kreativitas motorik siswa pada pelajaran matematika.

Abstract

In studying mathematics, students are often only provided with makeshift media, such as printed books. Providing such monotonous media can result in students being less interested in learning mathematics and having an impact on the acquisition of unsatisfactory student learning outcomes. In an increasingly advanced digital era, the use of interactive media assisted by wizer.me can be an effective solution to overcome these problems and improve student learning outcomes in mathematics. The purpose of this research is to find out the differences in student learning outcomes using media wizer.me and conventional media, namely printed books in mathematics. In addition, to determine the effect of using wizer.me as an independent learning medium in terms of student learning outcomes in mathematics. The type of research used is quasi-experimental in the form of nonequivalent control group design with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at Kartika XIX-3 Vocational School, Cirebon City, which consisted of 2 classes, namely X pharmacy as the experimental class and X nursing as the control class. Data collection techniques in this study used test techniques and the instrument used was an objective test to measure student learning outcomes in aspects of cognitive ability. After the objective test data is collected, the processing is carried out by means of statistical analysis. The results showed that: (1) Based on the results of the independent t test, a significance value of 0.007 <0.05 was obtained. So it can be stated that there are differences in student learning outcomes using media wizer.me and conventional media in mathematics. (2) Based on the results of the calculation of the type d effect size, the value of d is 0.90 > 0.80 and is included in the large category. Thus, the use of wizer.me as a self-learning medium has a major positive influence on student learning outcomes in mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas program remedial dan pengayaan dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMP Negeri 3 Losari dengan fokus pada komponen konteks, input, proses, dan produk. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, digunakan model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif (mixed methods). Populasi penelitian mencakup guru matematika kelas VIII serta seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Losari, dengan sampel penelitian dari kelas VIII A dan VIII D. Data dikumpulkan melalui skala penilaian, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari segi konteks, penerapan program remedial dan pengayaan telah sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013, dimana siswa yang belum mencapai KKM diberikan remedial untuk memperbaiki kesulitan belajar, sedangkan siswa yang telah melampaui KKM menerima pengayaan untuk memperdalam pengetahuan mereka. Dari segi input, evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan belajar siswa untuk remedial berada pada persentase 68,42% dan untuk pengayaan pada 61,54%, sementara keterampilan guru dalam mengajar remedial dan pengayaan masing-masing mencapai 87,50% dan 83,33%, serta kualitas sarana dan prasarana mencapai 74,19% untuk remedial dan 68,44% untuk pengayaan. Namun, dalam komponen proses, pelaksanaan program remedial dan pengayaan belum sepenuhnya memenuhi standar yang diharapkan. Di sisi lain, komponen hasil menunjukkan bahwa program remedial dan pengayaan telah memberikan hasil yang positif dalam pembelajaran matematika. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar dilakukan perbaikan dalam pelaksanaan proses untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih optimal dan memastikan konsistensi dalam penerapan program di seluruh kelas. Abstract

This study explores the integration of the DIKW (Data, Information, Knowledge, Wisdom) framework into formative assessment practices to enhance teachers' information literacy skills. Utilizing a design-based research (DBR) methodology, we developed and tested a formative assessment instrument specifically aimed at improving teachers' competencies in navigating and utilizing information effectively. The research investigates how the DIKW model can scaffold specific dimensions of information literacy, including critical evaluation of information sources, effective synthesis of information, and practical application of knowledge in teaching contexts. Additionally, the study examines teachers' perceptions of the effectiveness of the formative assessment instrument designed based on the DIKW framework. Findings indicate that the integration of the DIKW framework not only boosts teachers' confidence and competence in managing information but also enriches their instructional practices. This research contributes to the ongoing discourse on professional development in education, emphasizing the importance of reflective practices and structured assessment tools in fostering effective teaching and learning environments.
