Abstract

Textbooks can be considered in determining the level of learning opportunities for students. The learning process to support 21st-century skills requires literacy skills, one of which is digital literacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of digital literacy content in the aspects of elements, skills, levels, and models in Biology textbooks for class XII SMA/MA on the concept of genetic material. The research method used in this research is qualitative content analysis. Overall, the textbooks analyzed so far have not been compiled digitally because they are still very low. Digital literacy must be optimum by being facilitated by appropriate books. Modifying the form of a book with accommodation for higher digital literacy, even though it is a printed book so that it can collaborate with digital media. Therefore, teachers should first analyze the quality of the contents of Biology textbooks with more complex digital literacy content from various publishers, to see a comparison of the quality of each book used in learning.

Abstract

Students' critical thinking skills in high school are still lacking. Learning media in textbooks is still less effective and interactive in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the improvement of students' critical thinking skills using 3D-based e-handout. This research is true-experiment research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all eleventh-grade Mathematics and Science major (MIPA) classes at SMAN 1 Ciwaringin, which consisted of 128 students. The samples were classes XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 2. This study showed a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills between experimental classes, with an average N-gain value of 0.60 (moderate category), and the control class, with an N-gain value of 0.28 (low category).ABSTRAK: Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di sekolah masih kurang.

Abstract

Data literacy is an essential part of 21st-century skills learning. The rapidly developing digital era currently presents much data-supporting work. This study aimed to improve data literacy through a project-based learning laboratory (PjBL-Lab) with an ethnoscience-science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (ethno-STEM) approach in bamboo rifle physics learning. The research method used a quasi-experiment with a sample of 62 students from the experimental class and 65 students from the control class. The research population was students in the first semester of biology education at a state Islamic university in West Java and science education students at a state Islamic university in Central Java, totaling six classes with a total of 188 students. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The data literacy test instrument used descriptive questions with a rubric that meets valid and reliable criteria. A questionnaire was used to measure the practicality of the learning model's implementation. Data analysis used N-Gain and the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U statistical test. The results showed that data literacy can be improved by implementing the PjBL-Lab learning model integrated with ethno-STEM. There was a significant difference in data literacy abilities between the two classes. The PjBL-Lab model with an ethno-STEM approach received a positive response from students. Therefore, the PjBL-Lab model integrated with ethno-STEM can improve data literacy and is practical for learning. Future research can explore traditional games that can be integrated into physics learning to enhance various 21st-century skills.

Abstract

The aims of this research to analisys toward IAIN to be UIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, analysis readiness IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon to support changes become UIN Cirebon, analysis constraints becomes UIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. This research conducted in IAIN Cirebon. The subject of this research is IAIN stakeholder consist of leaderships, 33 lectures, 17 staff administration, and 350 student of institute, and user around Cirebon. This research is qualitative research type case study. Instrument of this research using questionnaire, guidance interview, and documentation. Data Analysis using three type, consist of data reduction, data presentation, and data verificated by induktif, deduktif, and comparative. The result show refers to regulation of ministry of religion number 15, 2015 about changing higher education in ministry of religion about changing IAIN become UIN, consist of number of student of university, qualified of lecturer and staff education, and acreditation of department. Resources unmet are number of qualified lecturer, facilitaties and infrastuctures, number of department and faculty, and curriculum of integration. Stakeholder provided positive respon and support to changing IAIN become UIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon have a number of problem consist of facilitaties and infrastuctures incomplete, the number of lecture suitably qualified, the number of department and faculty, curriculum doesn’t standarized, academic atmosphere doesn’t condusive, SOP is still print out book but not implemented, UIN development team unform.            Keyword: Resources, Readiness, IAIN, UIN

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of an electronic module (e-module) containing ethnoscience in a flipbook format using the Heyzine website for environmental change material that is feasible, effective, and practical for improving student learning outcomes. The research method used in this development is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The ethnoscience-loaded e-module was tested on 108 tenth-grade high school students in Majalengka Regency. The research results show that the developed ethnoscience-loaded e-module (1) has very high feasibility based on expert validation of content feasibility, language, presentation, learning support, screen design appearance, ease of use, usefulness, and graphics; (2) has moderate effectiveness based on the n-gain of student learning outcomes; (3) has very positive practicality based on student responses, indicating that the e-module is very engaging for use in learning. The ethnoscience-loaded e-module on environmental change material to improve student learning outcomes is feasible, effective, and practical. Further studies are needed to test the application of the e-module in various school contexts and to explore the use of platforms other than Heyzine.
