Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul berbasis guided inquiry pada materi bakteri kelas x SMA/MA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah model Bord and Gall dengan menggunakan 5 tahapan saja yaitu tahap penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi awal, tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan format produk awal, tahap uji coba awal, dan tahap revisi. Validator terdiri dari 1 ahli materi, 1 ahli desain, dan 1 guru biologi. Responden terdiri dari 6 orang siswa kelas XI IPA MA Muallimat NW Pancor tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert menjadi skala 4 sesuai modifikasi peneliti. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif  kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahansan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk bahan ajar berupa modul yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria layak, baik dari segi materi (81,05%), segi desain nahan ajar (96,42%), guru biologi (74,25%), dan respon siswa (93,18%). Dengan demikian, modul ini layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.Abstract. This study aims to develop a guided inquiry-based module on bacterial material for class x SMA/MA. This type of research is development research. The model used in this research and development is the Bord and Gall model using only 5 stages, namely the initial research and information collection stage, the planning stage, the initial product format development stage, the initial trial stage, and the revision stage. The validator consists of 1 material expert, 1 design expert, and 1 biology teacher. The respondents consisted of 6 students of class XI IPA MA Muallimat NW Pancor for the 2021/2022 academic year. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale to a scale of 4 according to the researcher's modification. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the product of teaching materials in the form of modules developed has feasible criteria, both in terms of material (81.05%), in terms of teaching design (96.42%), biology teachers (74.25 %), and student responses (93.18%). Thus, this module is suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract :Online Learning is a learning activity carried out from home which is one of the policies of the government to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus that is currently happening in Indonesia. However, online learning is inseparable from the problems that hinder its implementation so that researchers conduct research on online learning problems using qualitative methods. The implementation of Online learning for students at MA NW Penendem is not optimal due to several factors, namely lack of facilities, the role of parents, teachers and schools that are not optimal and low student motivation in implementing online learning. The things that become problems in online learning are quota and singles are not available, parents do not accompany and remind online learning schedules, delivery of unattractive material, survey implementation of online learning activities is not comprehensive, free internet quota cannot be used optimally, students not happy, not enthusiastic, feel difficult and undisciplined in studying Online.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh ekstrak tulang daun tembakau terhadap hama Thrips sp. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan disalah satu sawah yang bertempat di Desa Dames Damai, Kecamatan Suralaga, Kabupaten Lombok Timur pada bulan maret hingga bulan agustus 2021. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Penelitian ini menggunakan 1 jenis perlakuan (ekstrak tulang daun tembakau) konsentrasi 60%, dengan 5 kali pengulangan. Hasil yang diproleh menunjukkan bahwa jumlah hama yang masih menyerang tanaman cabai perlakuan jauh lebih sedikit dibandingkan dengan tanaman cabai kontrol.  Jumlah rata-rata hama Thrips sp. pada tanaman kontrol selama 7 hari pengambilan data sebesar 3.279,00 ekor, sedangkan jumlah hama Thrips sp. pada tanaman perlakuan sebanyak 736,08 ekor. Data tersebut juga didukung oleh hasil Uji Anava 1 Jalur yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara ekstrak tulang daun tembakau dengan hama Thrips sp. karena harga Fhitung > F tabel (116,15 > 9,33) pada taraf signifikansi 1%.

Abstract

This research is based on the urgency of teaching materials or learning intermediaries. Considering that several factors make learning less than optimal, which has an impact on student motivation and learning outcomes. However, teacher and student statements emphasize that most of the learning is still emphasized on providing teacher-focused/centered theory. Hence, this research aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) that focus on environmental pollution based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) oriented to local wisdom, which is expected to increase student learning motivation. The research method used is research and development, which refers to the Borg & Gall procedure, which involves six stages: preliminary research, planning, initial product development, expert testing and initial field trials, revision of initial field trial results, and main field trials. The research design is to test a learning device product in the form of a Student Worksheet (LKPD) on environmental pollution based on local wisdom-oriented Problem-Based Learning (PBL) to identify things that need to be considered and completed in developing the Student Worksheet (LKPD). which is suitable for use. The data collection technique in this research is through giving validation sheets/questionnaires to material experts, design experts, and Biology subject teachers. Qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data analysis were used to process data based on validation results and trials on developing a Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based Environmental Pollution Student Worksheet (LKPD) oriented to local wisdom. The assessment results from qualitative and quantitative data analysis obtained from material experts obtained an average of 3.68, design experts 3.33, first science teacher 3.35, second science teacher 3.27, and student responses 3.41, which included the criteria of Decent and Very Decent. Furthermore, product validity is based on the percentage score from material experts 92%, design experts 83.33%, first science teacher 83.75%, second science teacher 81.87%, and student responses 85.25%, which includes Very Good criteria. The implementation of the main field test showed an increase in student learning motivation in the experimental class by 0.52% and 0.42% in the control class. Therefore, broader research is needed to determine environmental pollution based on local wisdom

Abstract

Students' critical thinking skills in high school are still lacking. Learning media in textbooks is still less effective and interactive in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the improvement of students' critical thinking skills using 3D-based e-handout. This research is true-experiment research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all eleventh-grade Mathematics and Science major (MIPA) classes at SMAN 1 Ciwaringin, which consisted of 128 students. The samples were classes XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 2. This study showed a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills between experimental classes, with an average N-gain value of 0.60 (moderate category), and the control class, with an N-gain value of 0.28 (low category).ABSTRAK: Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di sekolah masih kurang. Media pembelajaran yang masih berupa buku paket kurang efektif dan interaktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa menggunakan e-handout berbasis 3D. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian true-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIPA di SMAN A Ciwaringin berjumlah 128 siswa dan sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XI MIPA 1 dan XI MIPA 2. Terdapat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain kelas eksperimen 0,60 tergolong kedalam keriteria sedang sedangkan nilai N-gain kelas kontrol 0,28 tergolong kedalam kategori rendah.

Abstract

Ecopreneurship adalah istilah untuk mewakili proses atau prinsip kewirausahaan guna mengatasi masalah lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian (1)  mengetahui kelayakan modul pembuatan Ecobrick sebagai sarana pengembangan diri berbasis Ecopreneurship di SMA kelas X. (2) mengetahui tanggapan peserta didik dan guru mengenai  modul pembuatan Ecobrick sebagai sarana pengembangan diri berbasis Ecopreneurship di SMA kelas X. Jenis penelitian adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Robert Maribe Branch menggunakan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, & evaluation) yang dilakukan secara menyeluruh tanpa adanya batasan. Uji coba penelitian  dengan dua kelompok yakni kelompok kecil (30 peserta didik) dan kelompok besar (64 peserta didik). Hasil penelitian adalah modul pembuatan Ecobrick. Kualitas dari modul pembuatan Ecobrick sebagai berikut: (1) ahli media diperoleh persentase 82,29 % dengan kriteria “sangat layak”, (2) ahli bahasa diperoleh persentase 81,81 % dengan kriteria “sangat layak”, (3) ahli materi diperoleh persentase 97,72 % dengan kriteria “sangat layak”. Hasil tanggapan pendidik biologi diperoleh persentase 83,33 % dengan kriteria “sangat layak”. Hasil penilaian pendidik kewirausahaan diperoleh persentase 79,16 dengan kriteria “layak”. Hasil tanggapan peserta didik diperoleh 88,47 % dengan kriteria “sangat layak”. Dari hasil penilaian modul dapat dikatakan sangat layak untuk digunakan.Keywords: Modul pembuatan Ecobrick, Ecopreneurship

Abstract

Hydroponic farming has emerged as an effective alternative to overcome land limitations, especially in urban and compact residential areas. Focusing on two Madrasah Aliyah in East Lombok, the Community Service Program by the Biology Education Department of Universitas Hamzanwadi implemented hydroponic techniques as an innovative farming method. This initiative aimed to enhance environmental awareness and farming skills among students, while utilizing styrofoam waste as a planting medium. The process included socialization, seedling production, planting, maintenance, and harvesting, using plants such as water spinach, lettuce, and spinach. The implementation method incorporated Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), enabling active participation from students and teachers. The program was conducted from March to November 2023 at MA NWDI Juet and MA Ridlol Walidain NW Batu Bangka - Jenggik. The mentoring process involved various stages, from introducing hydroponic techniques to creating planting media and planting, including the use of AB Mix nutrients and rockwool as planting media. The results of the activity showed successful cultivation of hydroponic water spinach, while lettuce and spinach experienced crop failure. The primary causes of this failure were inadequate care, light, and temperature. Nevertheless, the activity successfully educated students on the importance of hydroponic agriculture and creative waste utilization, providing new insights into urban farming. In conclusion, the hydroponic approach can be an efficient solution for cultivating plants in limited spaces, offering educational and environmental benefits. This program also highlighted the potential of styrofoam waste as a hydroponic planting medium, underscoring the importance of waste utilization for environmental sustainability.
