Abstract

Two legal traditions , Indonesian legal law and common law, are frequently studied by academics and legal practitioners. Without diminishing the importance of other legal traditions such as socialism, marxism, Islamic law, etc., these two major traditions often interact in a global trade process. The common law tradition, or known as the Anglo-Saxon tradition or Westminster tradition, is commonly adopted by commonwealth countries and the majority of states in the United States. Meanwhile, Indonesian law tradition originated from the civil law tradition, also known as the continental or Roman tradition, is the applied official law in Indonesia. The collision of legal tradition differences between the parties can not be avoided, as a result of global trade. The legal system of both traditions is complicated as every element of them should be understood, including the principle, method, sources of law, judicial system, style of the practitioners, duties of the court, and ownership of an object. Due to global trade and legal tradition differences between the parties, the adoption of law, harmonization of business contract, and Court of Arbitration should be the middle grounds used as a final step to settle disputes. The adoption and harmonization of law, especially in a business contract, is not recent in the Law of Indonesia. However, only a few practitioners have learned and understood it. Recently, business contracts have a new paradigm, shifting from a win-lose concept to a formal relation contract. A complex business contract based on win-lose concept is considered to no longer maintain the company “healthy” in the performance and profit of the parties. With this awareness, the paradigm of business contracts is changed by the spirit of empathy, win-win solution, solidarity, and shared interests of the parties.

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of malnutrition and diet-related health issues among children emphasizes the urgent need for effective nutrition education. This study evaluates the effectiveness of a tailored nutrition education program in increasing awareness of balanced eating patterns among elementary school students in Indonesia. Using a qualitative research design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, and observations involving 20 students and their teachers. The findings reveal significant improvements in students' knowledge and attitudes toward balanced eating, highlighting the effectiveness of interactive learning methods and culturally relevant content. Parental involvement emerged as a critical factor in reinforcing the program's lessons. Challenges such as financial constraints and varying levels of parental support were noted, suggesting the need for community-level interventions. The results align with social cognitive theory, emphasizing observational learning and environmental influences. This study underscores the importance of integrating nutrition education into school curriculums and provides a replicable model for similar interventions. Future research should explore the long-term impacts and scalability of such programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of business ethics and strategic management in companies in Indonesia. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use documentation techniques. Data analysis is inductive / qualitative and the results of qualitative research emphasize meaning rather than generalization, namely triangulation (combined) techniques. The results of the study found that the analysis of the implementation of business ethics and strategic management in companies in Indonesia confirms that business ethics is a very important aspect for the survival of the company. Companies that apply business ethics well can build trust from colleagues, the community, and customers, which is an important capital to maintain business continuity. Therefore, companies have a responsibility to maintain and improve standards of business ethics to achieve sustainable growth. On the strategic management side, its role is also very important in achieving the company's long-term goals, adapting to changes in the business environment, and directing human resources. By implementing good business ethics and effective strategic management, companies in Indonesia can better face business challenges and contribute to sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Technological advances have had a significant impact on social life in Indonesia. One of the most significant impacts of technological advances in Indonesia is the emergence of social media. The emergence of social media has had a major impact on the way Indonesian people interact with each other. This research aims to find out the impact of the influence of technological advances on social life in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative research method, while the data collection technique is done by literature study. Then the data that has been collected is analyzed descriptively. The results showed that technological advances have had a major impact on social life in Indonesia, one of which is changing the way people interact in social life. This is because social media has enabled people to connect over long distances, facilitating communication and collaboration between people who may never meet. In addition to changing the way people interact with each other, technological advancements also create new challenges that must be overcome to ensure that all Indonesians can benefit from these technological advancements.

Abstract

Climate change in Indonesia presents serious challenges due to deforestation, land degradation, and increasing greenhouse gas emissions from the forestry sector. As a country with the third largest tropical forest in the world, Indonesia needs an adaptive strategy that is not only able to reduce emissions, but also strengthen people's welfare. Agroforestry is considered a potential solution that supports the implementation of REDD+ schemes to achieve the 2030 NDC targets. This study aims to analyze the role of agroforestry in strengthening climate resilience while exploring its integration with REDD+ governance in Indonesia. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation studies in forest villages in Kalimantan and Sumatra. The data was analyzed using thematic analysis techniques with source triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. Research has found that agroforestry systems are able to improve soil quality, absorb higher carbon than monocultures, and support farmer income diversification by up to 20–30%. The integration of agroforestry with REDD+ governance also increases community participation and strengthens local institutions. However, limited funding, technical capacity, and governance transparency remain challenges. The study's recommendations include strengthening carbon incentives, building community capacity, and more participatory and equitable management of REDD+. Agroforestry has proven to function not only as a technical mitigation strategy, but also as a socio-economic instrument that strengthens climate resilience and supports the sustainability of REDD+ governance in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of influencer culture on public opinion and political mobilization in Indonesia. Using descriptive quantitative methods and purposive sampling approaches, data was collected from 400 respondents of active social media users who followed digital influencers who voiced political views. The results of the analysis show that digital influencers have a significant influence in shaping political views and mobilizing political action among their followers, especially the younger generation. These findings reveal that trust in influencers plays an important role in amplifying the effects of this influence. Based on agenda-setting theory, influencers act as agents who are able to direct public attention to certain issues, strengthen political participation, but also have the potential to pose challenges related to the accuracy and objectivity of information. Therefore, this study highlights the importance of digital literacy and regulatory settings to prevent the potential manipulation of political information through social media.

Abstract

Analyzing the growth of media in the midst of people's lives gives a role in seeing the role of its presence for life itself. This is important to understand because the existence of the media and the embodiment of the world of communication in people's lives are two interrelated essences. The purpose of this research is how the role of television mass media in shaping public perception of religion. Furthermore, regarding the role of religious leaders using the media in influencing perceptions of religion. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method to identify and measure the influence of television media in shaping public perception of religion. This research obtained the results that in order to create a more varied and innovative religious broadcast package, so that it can invite the interest of viewers, it is necessary to pay attention to the principles of television broadcasting in Islam and several theories of mass communication related to television broadcasting. Islam through its holy book Al-Qur'an recommends that there are some of its adherents (such as television people) who call for goodness and amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar, in a gentle (persuasive), firm and correct way, and by giving lessons or advice (either by speech or behavior).

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan telah mendorong transformasi layanan pelanggan melalui penerapan chatbot generatif. Namun, tantangan utama dalam pengembangannya adalah memilih arsitektur model yang tepat dan penyetelan hiperparameter untuk mencapai kinerja yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model chatbot berbasis Deep Neural Network (DNN) dengan optimasi hiperparameter menggunakan teknik Bayesian Optimization. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi teknis, dan observasi implementasi di lima perusahaan teknologi. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam akurasi respons, penurunan latensi, serta kepuasan pengguna yang lebih tinggi setelah model dioptimalkan. Chatbot yang dikembangkan mampu memberikan interaksi yang lebih relevan, responsif, dan efisien dalam konteks layanan pelanggan. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini termasuk meningkatkan efektivitas operasional dan kualitas pengalaman pelanggan, serta memberikan panduan teknis bagi pengembang sistem AI serupa. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya pendekatan integratif antara teknologi dan evaluasi berbasis pengguna untuk menghasilkan model chatbot adaptif dan strategis.

Abstract

Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) menghadirkan peluang besar bagi pendidikan inklusif, khususnya dalam mendukung siswa berkebutuhan khusus agar memperoleh akses belajar yang setara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi guru, efektivitas penggunaan AI, hambatan implementasi, serta strategi optimalisasi integrasi AI dalam pembelajaran inklusif di Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed-method explanatory sequential dengan melibatkan 250 responden melalui survei kuantitatif dan 20 partisipan dalam wawancara serta FGD. Instrumen penelitian mencakup kuesioner, panduan wawancara, dan lembar observasi yang divalidasi oleh pakar pendidikan inklusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI efektif dalam mendukung aksesibilitas siswa berkebutuhan khusus melalui teknologi seperti speech-to-text, text-to-speech, dan platform pembelajaran adaptif. Namun, hambatan utama berupa keterbatasan pelatihan guru, infrastruktur digital, biaya, serta literasi digital masih menjadi tantangan. Strategi optimalisasi mencakup pelatihan guru, investasi infrastruktur, dukungan kebijakan, dan kolaborasi dengan perusahaan edtech. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa AI dapat menjadi instrumen strategis dalam mewujudkan pendidikan inklusif yang adaptif, berkeadilan, dan sejalan dengan tujuan SDGs.

Abstract

In urban contexts, students often face challenges related to educational resources and parental involvement, which affect their academic achievement. This study aims to investigate the influence of learning environment and parental support on the academic achievement of primary school students in urban areas. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with students, parents and teachers. The findings showed that students who were in a supportive school environment and supported by active parents showed higher academic motivation and better resilience. The results highlight the importance of classroom resources, teacher engagement and consistent parental support as significant factors in student achievement. However, socioeconomic factors often limit parental involvement, suggesting the need for flexible school-based engagement programs. This research recommends that urban schools adopt collaborative strategies to improve in-school support and parental engagement, thus creating a comprehensive support network for students. The conclusion of this study suggests that strengthening school-parent partnerships and improving the classroom environment are critical to improving students' academic achievement.
