Abstract

Spike or often called smash is one of the basic techniques in playing volleyball. Spike/smash in volleyball plays a very important role in a team's success, especially when attacking. This research aims to determine the effect of Aquatic Plyometric Training (APT) on increasing Spike jump height in Volleyball players. The method used in this research was an experimental method where APT was given twice a week, for 6 weeks, with training in the form of squat jumps with blocking form, single- and double-leg bounding, spike approaches, depth jumps, power skips, and continuous jumping for height. Using a one group pre-test post-test research design. The population in this study was 25 female volleyball athletes from SMAN 1 Kawali. The sampling method used purposive sampling, which obtained 10 samples according to the criteria. The research instrument used to measure jump height is the Vertical jump. The results of this study state that there is a significant influence of Aquatic Plyometric Training (APT) on increasing spike jump height in volleyball players. So it can be concluded that to increase the height of the spike jump, you can train using Aquatic Plyometric Training.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of resistance band training on increasing the endurance of arm muscle strength in adolescent basketball players. The method used is an experiment with a pre-test and post-test design in one group. The subjects of the study consisted of extracurricular basketball players who followed a training program for six weeks (12 sessions). The instrument used to measure arm muscle strength was a 60-second push-up test. The results of the statistical analysis showed a significant increase in the average value, from 20.20 (pre-test) to 25.00 (post-test). This finding is supported by previous studies stating that resistance band-based training is effective in increasing muscle strength, even in the elderly group. In addition to increasing strength, the advantages of resistance bands lie in their flexibility, portability, and high level of safety, making them suitable for use by school-age athletes. Thus, resistance band training can be an efficient and effective alternative in the youth basketball physical development program, especially in increasing arm muscle endurance to support the performance of basic game techniques.

Abstract

Volleyball is a team game that is already popular among the public, which emphasizes good physical, technical, and psychological skills . Research This aiming For examine the effect of imagery training on the results of male volleyball athletes’ jump service . Research methods This use method experiment with design study One Group Pretest Posttest Design involving 12 volleyball athletes son of Tectona Bandung club. Election sample use technique purposive sampling , with treatment as many as 8 meetings in a way intensive . Instrument study use service accuracy test (AAHPER) Service Accuracy is an instrument used to collect athlete data. before and after given treatment . After the data is obtained , it is analyzed use SPSS version 21 uses the paired sample T-test. Based on results data processing shows that Sig.(2tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05. The results of the pretest-posttest and the overall difference in athletes obtained a pretest score of 98 %, then there was an increase in the posttest of 102 % with an average difference of 4%. Imagery Training has beeb proven to have significant effect on improving jump service skills in male volleyball athletes, through strengthening technical, biomechanical, psychological, and motot aspect.

Abstract

In volleyball games that are applied and the most important thing is the jump compared to the hit that must be done quickly and strongly. One factor to get a fast and strong jump with Power training with the Complex Training training method. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of Complex Training on increasing muscle power abilities in female volleyball athletes. The research method in this study used an experiment with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample involved in this study consisted of 12 female athletes of the UPI volleyball UKM, using the total sampling technique from all populations. The research instrument used was the Force Plate Test which was given twice, before and after treatment was given. A t-test was carried out with SPSS version 25 as a data analysis technique. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the Complex Training training method on muscle power fitness had a significant value (0.000) <0.05, with an increase in muscle power fitness abilities in female volleyball athletes of UKM at the Indonesian Education University. It is concluded that there is a significant effect of the Complex Training training method on the muscle strength of female volleyball athletes.Keywords: Leg muscle power, Complex Training, Leg muscle power in volleyball, volleyball game.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Tabata training method on increasing the anaerobic endurance of beach volleyball athletes. This study used an experimental method with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study used 12 beach volleyball athletes who were divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control group, each consisting of 6 athletes. The instrument in this study used the RAST test which was carried out before and after treatment. The experimental group was given treatment in the form of Tabata training and the control group was given conventional training. The results of the study showed an increase in anaerobic endurance in both groups, but the increase in the experimental group was more significant than the control group. Thus, the Tabata training method is more effective and is recommended as an alternative to increase the anaerobic endurance of beach volleyball athletes. Abstract

This study aims to retrospectively analyze the application of the long interval training method to increase athletes’ anaerobic alactate capacity. The study used a retrospective descriptive method with four athletes participating in a training program for 16 meetings, using the Dash Sprint instrument as a measure of explosive ability. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics including the average, highest value, lowest value, range, and standard deviation. The results showed an average Dash Sprint time of 3.40 seconds, with the best result of 3.32 seconds and the lowest result of 3.50 seconds, and an average athlete attendance of 89.06%. The study findings indicate that the long interval training method has the potential to make a positive contribution to anaerobic alactate capacity, although performance results are also influenced by individual factors such as initial physical condition, sprint technique, and physiological responses of each athlete. In conclusion, long interval training can be used as a training method to support the improvement of sprint ability and anaerobic alactate capacity, especially in sports that require short-duration explosive activity. Abstract

This study aim for know impact exercise plyometric on the surface grass to volleyball vertical jump daughter. Research This use method quantitative with design One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sample consists of of 20 athletes Allexis club princess aged 14-16 years, with using total sampling. Subject done with One group experiment accept exercise plyometric on the surface grass. The instrument used For measure vertical jump is slapstick test/ Vertec . Data analysis in study This using SPSS 26 test. Hypothesis test results show that there is difference significant (p<0.05) between pre-test and post-test scores, which indicate that hypothesis study accepted. In descriptive, average score vertical jump increase from 32.15 cm in the pre-test to 35.35 cm in the post-test after undergo 12 sessions exercise plyometric during One month. This average increase show existence change positive that describes the influence of the training program provided. Therefore that, can concluded that there is significant impact exercise plyometric on the surface grass to volleyball vertical jump daughter.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between wrist flexibility and arm muscle strength with smash accuracy and speed in badminton athletes of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). In this study using descriptive methods with correlational techniques and the sample in this study amounted to 12 UPI Badminton UKM athletes.. Descriptive statistics show the average wrist flexibility of 99.16, arm muscle strength of 5.01, smash accuracy of 4.25, and smash speed of 103.83. The normality test results showed that the data were normally distributed (p> 0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed a significant positive relationship between wrist flexibility and smash accuracy (r = 0.640, p = 0.025) and smash speed (r = 0.662, p = 0.019). Similarly, arm muscle strength was significantly associated with accuracy (r = 0.587, p = 0.045) and smash speed (r = 0.720, p = 0.008). However, the regression analysis results showed that these two variables together did not have a significant effect on smash accuracy (p = 0.081) but were significant on smash speed (p = 0.030). The results of this study underscore the importance of wrist flexibility and arm muscle strength in supporting smash performance, both in terms of accuracy and speed. Training that focuses on improving flexibility and arm muscle strength is recommended to help athletes improve the quality of their smashes, while still considering aspects of technique and coordination.
