Abstract

Peter M. Blau's social exchange theory remains strikingly relevant for understanding social interactions in Society 5.0, a digitally driven era where core concepts like rewards, costs, profit, and power are amplified and redefined online. This analysis demonstrates the theory's enduring power to illuminate digital phenomena such as e-commerce, the sharing economy, online labor markets, and social media dynamics, revealing user motivations and platform behaviors through an economic lens. While requiring adaptations to incorporate algorithmic mediation, expanded digital resources, and ethical concerns inherent in hyper-connected digital exchanges, Blau's framework provides a vital and insightful lens for navigating both the opportunities and challenges of social life in Society 5.0, offering a robust foundation for analyzing the complex interplay of social and economic forces shaping this new societal paradigm.

Abstract

There are children in this world who have special needs and experience significant abnormalities or deviations in their physical, mental, intellectual, social, and emotional development compared to other children of the same age. As a result, they require special education services. Inclusive education is a specialized kind of education designed to cater to the unique requirements of children with special needs. The underlying principle of this educational concept is to shift the focus from adapting students to fit the requirements of the school, to instead adapting schools or educational systems to accommodate the needs of children. Researchers did community service by socializing education for children with special needs at the ABA 5 Probolinggo Kindergarten inclusive school. The focus of the community service was "Growing Community Awareness of the Implementation of Inclusive Education." The inclusive school employs Participatory Action Research to facilitate the socialization of education for students with special needs. This is achieved via many ways such as presentations, lectures, conversations, and hands-on activities. The primary outcome of this event is that inclusive education offers educational services that encompass the integration of children with special needs into regular courses, where they study alongside their peers of the same age. When society acknowledges the presence of children with special needs, it will become more feasible to establish an inclusive educational institution.

Abstract

This article examines the ontology of Muhammad Iqbal's panentheism and its implications for environmental ethics, aiming to descriptively outline the existential relationships between God, humans, and nature, and to assess how Iqbal's concepts can enhance environmental ethical frameworks. The research addresses the challenge of Muslim responses to modern science, which often focus on an Islamization process that can be exclusive. Three methods were employed: Language Analytics, analyzing Iqbal's linguistic choices; a Hermeneutic Method to interpret his texts through literal, phenomenological, and essential lenses; and a Heuristic Method to uncover insights by critiquing existing perspectives. The findings reveal that Iqbal's panentheism establishes an ontological framework that underscores the interconnectedness of all existence, linking the divine, human, material, and spiritual dimensions. This paradigm fosters a dynamic universe reflecting God's ongoing creativity and promotes environmental ethics by emphasizing unity and interdependence. Iqbal’s philosophy encourages respect for the environment, sustainable practices, and an understanding of human roles as stewards of Earth, offering a holistic and spiritually profound approach to environmental ethics.
Melancholy as a Source of Creative: a Paradox in Heidegger's Thought Anam, Rifqi Khairul

Abstract

This paper explores the paradoxical relationship between melancholy and creativity within the framework of Heideggerian philosophy. Building upon the notion that melancholy is not merely a psychological state but a fundamental mode of being, it argues that this condition, characterized by an awareness of human finitude and the limitations of existence, serves as a crucial catalyst for creative activity. Following Heidegger, the paper posits that true freedom, the cornerstone of creative expression, is inextricably linked to a sense of burden and responsibility, giving rise to a melancholic mood. This melancholic contemplation, while seemingly negative, provides the fertile ground for artistic and intellectual innovation. The paper analyzes how this interplay between melancholic awareness and the creative impulse manifests in various forms of human expression, from artistic creation to philosophical inquiry. By examining the act of creation as a confrontation with "nothingness" and a struggle to find meaning in the face of mortality, the paper demonstrates how melancholy, rather than hindering creativity, serves as its essential precondition.

Abstract

This research is a literature study that examines marriage dispensations. The researcher investigates the legal regulations provided by the Religious Courts to potential brides and grooms who do not meet the age criteria stated in Law Number 1 of 1974. When considering marriage dispensations, the court takes into account many rules, such as the Marriage Law, Compilation of Islamic Law, Supreme Court Regulation no. 5 of 2019, and Minister of Religion Regulation no. 11 of 2007 about Marriage Registration. Various factors in life impact the judge's judgment to either grant or deny permission. One important factor to take into account is the age and level of personal maturity of the potential bride and groom. The judge assesses the degree to which they are prepared to enter into the institution of marriage. Another significant factor to consider is the element of health. The judge's decision is influenced by the health condition of the potential bride and groom, which is the third factor to consider. Additionally, economic factors are included as they might impact the longevity of a marital union due to their influence on financial stability. The court guarantees that every decision is made after a comprehensive review of the prospective bride and groom's condition, taking into account numerous variables. Marriage dispensation is not only a procedural requirement, but a policy that carefully takes into account all facets of life.

Abstract

In Indonesia’s intellectual landscape, Kuntowijoyo’s Prophetic Social Science emerged as a critical response to the dominance of Western positivism, which has been criticized for its inability to grasp the ethical and transcendental dimensions of social reality. Despite its transformative vision, this framework has long faced a fundamental challenge: the absence of a coherent ontological foundation that could sustain its three pillars—humanization, liberation, and transcendence. This research aims to address that gap by proposing Heideggerian social ontology as a new philosophical basis for Prophetic Social Science. Using a qualitative method of critical conceptual analysis, this research examines key philosophical and sociological texts through a hermeneutic–phenomenological lens. The analysis proceeds through interpretive deconstruction and reflexive engagement to uncover the ontological and epistemological assumptions behind positivism and Heideggerian thought. The findings show that positivism’s ‘flat’ ontology cannot accommodate the prophetic vision, while Heideggerian social ontology provides a more authentic foundation for a Sociology of Ereignis—a framework that centers meaningful events, reflexivity, and disclosure. The implication of this research is that sociological inquiry, especially within Muslim societies, must be reoriented toward ontologically grounded and ethically engaged methodologies that take lived meaning and transcendence seriously.

Abstract

This research explores the relationship between truth and art in Martin Heidegger's philosophy, particularly its relevance to the existence of AI chatbots. Heidegger redefines truth not as static correspondence but as aletheia—unconcealment, where entities reveal themselves through processes such as art and language. Art, for Heidegger, is the primary means by which truth is disclosed, opening up new worlds and perspectives beyond ordinary perception. In contrast, modern technology, epitomized by AI, operates through Enframing (Gestell), which reduces beings to resources, obscuring their authentic revelation. The central question of this research is whether AI chatbots, such as ChatGPT and Gemini, can engage in the unconcealment of truth as Heidegger describes it or if they are merely mechanical simulations of human creativity. Through an analysis of Heidegger’s concepts of aletheia and Gestell, the study examines the ontological implications of AI in relation to human existence and the unveiling of truth. The research finds that, despite their ability to generate text that simulates human conversation, AI chatbots lack the existential grounding of Dasein—the human condition necessary for true unconcealment. Therefore, while AI may mimic creativity, it cannot genuinely participate in the revelation of truth in Heideggerian terms. The study concludes by emphasizing the irreplaceable role of human engagement in the process of aletheia, which AI systems, by nature, cannot replicate, offering a critique of AI’s impact on understanding of art, truth, and human authenticity.

Abstract

Polygamy, a reality embedded in the teachings of the Koran, teaches that its implementation should not be done carelessly. Not just following lust, health considerations and material capacity, but more than that, polygamy must be accompanied by the intention to seek happiness in this world and the hereafter according to Islamic law. In certain contexts, polygamy can be an effective solution to resolve challenges in family life. However, its implementation must take into account various factors according to the situation and conditions of the individual who wishes to carry it out. Polygamy laws vary according to circumstances, emphasizing the need for fairness at every step. Research regarding Islamic legal philosophy in concrete situations of polygamy needs to be carried out. The results of this research describe the understanding of partners in Wonoasih Village, Wonoasih District, Probolinggo City regarding the principles of justice in polygamous marriages according to Islamic legal philosophy. This is a positive step in strengthening the basis of public understanding of the philosophical principles of Islamic law in the realm of polygamous marriages.
