Abstract

The research aims to describe the teacher's efforts to increase interest in reading stories in class III students at Dulolong Barat State Elementary School. This research is a descriptive type of qualitative research. The subjects of this research were 1 class teacher and 15 class III students at Dulolong Barat State Elementary School. Data collection techniques use observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques in this research use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity techniques and research stages. The results of this research show that teachers' efforts to increase interest in reading stories at West Dulolong State Elementary School, namely: (1) Encouraging children to tell stories about what they have heard or read, (2) Buying books that interest them in reading, (3) Exchanging books with friends, (4) Giving books as gifts, (5) Providing time to read during the learning process, teachers encourage students to increase their interest in reading. One way is by the teacher asking students to go to the library during break time to borrow books that the students like. Class III students' interest in reading stories was aimed at several students visiting the library to borrow books or read books during break times.

Abstract

In creating a disciplined character in students, the teacher's efforts alone are not enough, so there needs to be cooperation from other parties concerned such as parents and the surrounding environment. Collaboration between teachers and parents to foster student discipline at UPTD SD Negeri Alor Kecil can run well, if there is joint synergy between teachers and parents to improve student discipline, so that there are no longer differences in perception or differences of thought between both in educating children to be disciplined. The form of collaboration carried out by UPTD SD Negeri Alor Kecil is to foster student discipline by establishing an association of parents and teachers, socializing the rules that must be obeyed by all students, accepting criticism and suggestions from parents, using the facilities and infrastructure available at the school. and make visits to students' parents' homes if necessary. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study type of research. Determining the subjects of this research used a purposive sampling technique. The research subjects in this study were the homeroom teacher, class V A students and parents. The data collection techniques used were non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in research are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Data validity techniques by combining various data collection techniques and existing data sources. This research uses research techniques and sources. The results of the research show that the process of collaboration between teachers and parents has gone well, but there are still several shortcomings that must be addressed and completed so that the form of collaboration between teachers and schools runs much better, judging from Thomas Lickona's theory which says there are 20 ways To build collaboration between teachers and parents, UPTD SD Negeri Alor Kecil is still implementing 10 ways to build collaboration between teachers and parents and of the ten ways that have been implemented there are several ways that have not worked perfectly and still need improvement, especially the aspect of making family homework.

Abstract

study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of the Jigsaw learning model in Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects for grade IV at MIS Al-Bidayah Munaseli. The background of this study is the low learning outcomes of students in science subjects caused by low interest and active participation of students during the learning process. The Jigsaw learning model was chosen because it is able to increase student involvement actively in group learning activities and encourage cooperation between students. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were grade IV students of MI Al-Bidayah Munaseli in the 2024/2025 academic year totaling 19 students. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Jigsaw learning model can improve student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the increase in the average value of students from cycle I by 67.5% and increased after the implementation of cycle II with an average value of 83.75%, as well as the increase in the number of students who achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). In addition, student activity and participation in the learning process also showed a significant increase. Thus, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in science subjects for grade IV at MI Al-Bidayah Munaseli.

Abstract

Analysis of the influence of learning facilities on the learning achievement of fifth grade students at UPTD Sd Inpres Umapura. Thesis, elementary school teacher education department, STKIP Muhammadiyah Kalabahi (Supervised by Ayahanda Mi'raj Kamahi and Ayahanda Munandar M. Abdullah). This study examines the analysis of the influence of learning facilities on the learning achievement of fifth grade elementary school students at UPTD Sd Inpres Umapura. Abstract

Peran dan fungsi orangtua dalam proses belajar mengajar peserta didik menjadi hal yang penting dalam keberhasilan belajar seorang siswa, tinggi atau rendahnya prosentase kehadiran orangtua sangatlah berpengaruh terhadap Keberhasilan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII-1 SMP Negeri Cokroaminoto Kalabahi tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi terhadap siswa, orang tua, dan guru matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran orang tua berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar matematika siswa. Orang tua yang terlibat aktif dalam mendukung kegiatan belajar anaknya, memberikan dorongan, dan menunjukkan minat terhadap prestasi matematika anaknya dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Sebaliknya, kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua dalam mendukung pembelajaran matematika dapat berdampak negatif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Ditemukan bahwa komunikasi terbuka antara orang tua, siswa, dan guru matematika berperan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Orang tua yang mengalokasikan waktu untuk membahas kemajuan akademik anaknya, membantu mengerjakan tugas, dan memberikan penguatan positif dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang positif di rumah. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa sikap positif orang tua terhadap matematika dan keterlibatan mereka dalam kegiatan matematika di luar sekolah, seperti kunjungan ke museum matematika atau diskusi matematika di rumah, dapat merangsang minat dan motivasi siswa terhadap mata pelajaran tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan agar sekolah dan orang tua berkolaborasi untuk menciptakan strategi yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan peran orang tua dalam mendukung motivasi belajar matematika siswa di tingkat sekolah menengah.
