Abstract

The development of adventure tourism encourages an increase in tourist interest in activities that not only provide entertainment, but also have an impact on psychological conditions. One of these activities is rafting in Pangalengan which has increased visits every year. This research aims to analyze the influence of the experience of rafting tourism activities on the stress level of tourists. The method used is a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The research sample of 366 respondents was determined using the purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the study showed that the experience of rafting tourism had a significant effect on the stress level of tourists, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a determination coefficient value of 0.529. This shows that travel experiences contribute 52.9% to the variation in tourist stress levels. Thus, the better the experience that tourists feel, the stress level tends to decrease. This study confirms that adventure-based tourism activities can be an effective alternative in reducing stress and improving the psychological well-being of tourists.

Abstract

AbstractThis study examines the effect of destination image on tourist’s visiting intention to Tenjolaya Tourism Village. Destination image represents tourists’ perceptions of a destination, encompassing cognitive, affective, and unique dimensions. In this study, destination image is measured through three indicators: cognitive image, affective image, and unique image, while visiting intention is assessed through transactional, preferential, referential, and exploratory intentions. A quantitative associative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 383 tourists who had visited Tenjolaya Tourism Village. Data analysis was conducted using rank-based regression and Spearman Rank correlation. The results reveal a correlation coefficient of 0.636 with a significance value of 0.000, indicating a strong and statistically significant relationship between destination image and visiting intention. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) shows that destination image explains 40.5% of the variation in tourists’ visiting intention. Affective aspects, such as village atmosphere and social interaction, contribute most significantly to increasing tourist’s interest, whereas cognitive aspects, particularly accessibility, still require improvement. These findings suggest that strengthening destination image, especially its emotional and experiential components, is essential for enhancing tourists’ intention to visit and recommend Tenjolaya Tourism Village. Abstract

Margawindu Village in Sumedang Regency possesses considerable geotourism potential along with a locally cultivated honeybee product known as Teuweul honey. However, this potential has not yet been optimally integrated into the development of sustainable educational tourism. This community service program aims to implement sustainable geotourism by empowering local MSMEs engaged in Teuweul honey beekeeping through a participatory and community-based tourism approach. The method involved field observations, focus group discussions, thematic training, mentoring, and participatory evaluation followed by strategic recommendations. The results indicated a significant increase in community capacity in terms of environmental conservation and tourism interpretation, the rebranding of Teuweul honey with strong local identity, and the development of an educational tour package titled “From Hive to Nature” that combines ecological, economic, and educational values. Despite existing challenges such as infrastructure limitations and the need for digital marketing skills, the program successfully laid the foundation for an inclusive and locally driven sustainable geotourism model. Continued cross-sector collaboration and stakeholder engagement are essential to ensure the program’s long-term sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze tourism activities at the Wayang Museum Jakarta as a cultural tourism destination, viewed from the aspects of experience, entertainment, and satisfaction. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through direct observation, semi-structured interviews with museum management, guides, and visitors, as well as documentation. Data analysis followed the interactive model by Miles and Huberman, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that tourism activities at the Wayang Museum Jakarta are capable of creating meaningful educational experiences through guided tours, cultural workshops, and direct interaction with wayang collections. The entertainment aspect is realized through regular wayang performances and an immersive room that serves as the museum's primary attraction. Meanwhile, visitor satisfaction was rated favorably.
