Abstract

This study aimed to analyze students' readiness for careers out of their professions by considering the effect of locus of control and socioeconomic status. Career maturity acted as the variable intervening. The quantitative method was chosen to test the hypothesis. A total of 80 students were selected to be respondents based on purposive sampling. Model testing was done by using PLS-SEM. The findings of this study found that the locus of control influenced student career readiness. Conversely, socioeconomic status had no significant effect on their career readiness. On the other hand, this study's career maturity partially mediates between locus of control and career readiness. Regarding the effect of socioeconomic status on career readiness, career maturity in this study was known to have a role as an explanatory or predictor. This study concluded that if students wanted to improve their career readiness, they should pay attention to the locus of control and achieve career success. This study's results contribute to institutions, educators, students, and counselling, informing that individual career maturity is an effective way to facilitate students' readiness in their career decision-making process. Future studies should adopt essential variables related to career readiness that is not examined in this study.

Abstract

The success of vocational education cannot be separated from the proper management of learning by its objectives.  This study aims to explore the pitfalls and the needs of practical teaching in the Vocational High School of Automation and Office Management Program (AOMP) in Yogyakarta city. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data obtained were analyzed by using the qualitative analysis model of Miles and Huberman with stages: data reduction, presenting data, verifying data, and concluding data. The results of this study show that the complex equations that are occurred in practical learning of the Vocational High School of AOMP are including the absence of practical teaching materials that are relevant to the industry, there is no specific time for practical learning, lack of facilities and infrastructures, deficiency tools and time to use office laboratories, and there are new types of jobs in the office workforce that are difficult to be followed. Moreover, these matters are complicated for schools to be embodied in the form of practical learning, resulting in poorly trained vocational students in doing their duty that fit the areas of expertise learned. This hardship implies that vocational students become less confident in doing their jobs in the industry either during an internship program or when working in the industry. This research is limited to pitfalls that occur in Yogyakarta City and in schools, which are the subject of this research.

Abstract

Abstrak: Implementasi Teori SERVQUAL pada Layanan Akademik Satu Pintu. Dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan akademik, FE UNNES memperbarui pelayanan satu pintu dengan menambahkan bagian front office. Tugas front office yaitu memberikan pelayanan bagi mahasiswa terkait prosedur pengurusan surat menyurat melalui sistem surat dinas (SIRADI), layanan legalisir, layanan cetak KRS dan KHS. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sebagai penambahan bagian baru yang melayani akademik mahasiswa pada Bagian Tata Usaha FE UNNES. Kualitatif deskriptif merupakan metode dan pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan. Untuk pengumpulan data, penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan analisis data dengan Teori Interaktif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah 27 informan. Analisis data dimulai dengan menggumpulkan data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa lima dimensi kualitas pelayanan meliputi dimensi tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, dan empathy sudah baik. Namun, terdapat empat hambatan yang terjadi yaitu tempat pelayanan yang masih kurang memadai; fasilitas masih kurang lengkap dikarenakan tempat yang kurang luas; SIRADI yang terkadang error sehingga menghambat proses layanan; waktu pelayanan masih belum sesuai dengan waktu yang telah dijanjikan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu penyelenggaraan layanan akademik satu pintu sudah sesuai dengan teori SERVQUAL. Agar kepuasan mahasiswa meningkat, maka perguruan tinggi dapat meningkatkan kualitasnya dengan memperbaiki segala kendala-kendala yang dialami oleh mahasiswa. Kata kunci: layanan akademik, front office, teori kualitas pelayanan, servqual, layanan satu pintu Abstract: Implementation of SERVQUAL Theory on One-Stop Service Academic. To improve the quality of academic services, the Faculty of Economics of UNNES updated the one-door service by adding a front office. The front office duties are to provide services for students related to managing correspondence through the SIRADI system, legalization services, services about the printing of study result cards, and other academic services. Thus, this research aims to analyze the optimization of one-door educational services carried out by the Front Office of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang. This study used descriptive research methods with qualitative approaches—data collection techniques in observations, interviews, and documentation with data analysts with Interactive Theory. The data sources in this study were 27 informants. This study analyzes the data analysis through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The finding showed that five dimensions of servant quality include tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, are already promising. However, four obstacles occur: (1) the place of service that is still inadequate; (2) facilities that are still not complete due to the large area; (3) the SIRADI system that sometimes errors to impede the service process; (4) service time that is yet not following the promised time. This research concludes that the implementation of one-door academic services is following the theory of SERVQUAL. For increasing student satisfaction, universities can improve their quality by improving all the obstacles experienced by students. Keyword: academic services, front office, service quality theory, one-stop service

Abstract

Increasingly dynamic and volatile employment trends and the rapid development of the globalization era resulted in the transformation of the world of work to be faster, diverse and challenging to predict. Therefore, individuals are encouraged to have a flexible attitude to adapt and work according to their current career development. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy and academic achievement on career readiness outside the profession through career maturity as a mediator. The survey method with a quantitative approach was applied in this study using a sample of 80 students. This study selected the sample based on purposive sampling on all Office Administration students of the State University of Semarang. Data analysis performed using Smart PLS 3.0. This study tested the proposed model through two aspects: measurement and structural models. This study found that self-efficacy and career maturity positively and significantly affected career readiness outside the profession. Academic achievement, in this case, also affects career readiness, but not considerably. The role of career maturity as mediation has an effect on self-efficacy on career readiness partially. Thus, it can conclude that self-efficacy influences career readiness. These findings make an essential contribution for lecturers and institutions to pay more attention to student career readiness so that their opportunities as university graduates to be accepted into the world of work can run smoothly.

Abstract

Innovative and interesting learning should be pursued by the teacher so that students will be more motivated to learn and can get better learning outcomes. In this study, we tried to test the effectiveness of the demonstration method assisted by e-Agenda simulation video learning media on the learning competence and motivation of filing subjects. The study was conducted with a quasi-experimental y with nonequivalent control group design in SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga. There were 62 respondents in this study. Data were collected by two methods, namely tests and questionnaires. Independent sample tests were used for data analysis techniques. The findings showed that e-Agenda learning media can improve students' cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes between students who learn to use e-Agenda learning media and students who learn to use manual agenda. We also found that e-agenda learning media influences student motivation. Thus, we concluded that the e-Agenda learning media can improve students' learning competencies and motivation. In addition, it also affects students to be more motivated to learn diligently. Future studies should explore other factors affecting media effectiveness.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of brand image, price, and product quality on consumer satisfaction on Madu AG business in Tulungagung Regency. The associative method with quantitative approach were used in this research. The sample of 60 respondents was obtained from the Madu AG consumer population in Tulungagung Regency using purposive sampling method. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires containing statements to Madu AG consumers. Validity test, reliability test, hypothesis testing using the T and F tests were used in data testing, as well as the coefficient of simultaneous determination using the SPSS 16.0 program. The results prove that partially there is no significant effect between the brand image variable on the Madu AG business families in Tulungagung Regency, likewise on X2 variable partially there is no significant impact between price on the Madu AG business families in Tulungagung Regency. However, in variable X3 partially there is a significant influence between quality product and consumer satisfaction on Madu AG business in Tulungagung Regency. Meanwhile, simultaneously there is a significant influence among the variables brand image, price, and product quality on Madu AG business families in Tulungagung Regency with a contribution of 69.7% and the rest was affected by other unspecified variables

Abstract

Pelatihan tentang analisis butir soal berdasarakan teori tes klasik berbantuan software iteman dilatarbelakangi dari pemahaman dan kemampuan para pendidik dalam menganalisis butir soal yang masih rendah sehingga menjadi kendala dalam memberikan proses pembelajaran yang efektif. Untuk itu, tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan para pendidik dalam mengolah data jawaban peserta didik menggunakan aplikasi iteman. Dengan butir soal yang telah dianalisis, para pendidik dapat memberikan soal yang berkualitas dan terukur sehingga akan berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pendidikan. Kegiatan pelatihan analisis butir soal ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pendampingan selama satu kali pertemuan dengan total peserta sebanyak 57 orang pendidik di MTs. Tarbiyatul Banin Winong. Metode pelaksanaan ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif. Hasil kegiatan diperoleh adanya peningkatan kemauan dan kemampuan para pendidik dalam melakukan pengolahan data dan menganalisa butir soal menggunakan aplikasi iteman. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini telah menjawab permasalah mitra terkait peningkatan mutu pendidikan melalui evaluasi pembelajaran.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether community participation, use of information technology, and apparatus competence have a positive effect on the accountability of village fund management and to examine the accountability of village fund management from a Sharia Accounting perspective. This research is a quantitative research where the population in this study was obtained from 15 villages with 75 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data was obtained by documentation and questionnaires using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show that Community Participation, Use of Information Technology and Apparatus Competence each have a positive and significant effect on village fund management accountability. Accountability from an Islamic economic perspective will be realized if village officials are able to fulfill their obligations to convey their mandate and responsibility for what they have done to agencies or communities who have the right to accept that accountability.

Abstract

Perusahaan harus selalu mempertahankan dan meningkatkan profitabilitasnya untuk menarik investor agar menanamkan modalnya. Profitabilitas dapat dikatakan sebagai faktor penting dalam kelangsungan hidup perusahaan. Untuk itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis signifikansi pengaruh umur obligasi dan peringkat obligasi terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari www.idx.co.id dan situs website PT Pefindo. Total sampel penelitian sebanyak 16 obligasi perusahaan industri barang konsumsi periode 2020 – 2021, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi logistik dengan bantuan program IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis pertama yaitu variabel umur obligasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan. Nilai signifikan variabel umur obligasi sebesar 0.252 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,05. Secara teori, semakin panjang jatuh tempo obligasi maka tingkat ketidakpastian semakin besar sehingga risiko jatuh tempo juga semakin besar. Sementara itu, hipotesis kedua yaitu variabel peringkat obligasi menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.019, artinya semakin tinggi rasio ini maka semakin baik artinya perusahaan yang peringkat obligasi tinggi sangat berpengaruh terhadap perolehan laba tinggi. Secara simultan, hipotesis ketiga menunjukkan bahwa umur obligasi dan peringkat obligasi berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas diterima. Untuk itu, terdapat dua hipotesis yang diterima yaitu hipotesis kedua dan ketiga, sedangkan hipotesis pertama ditolak. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan yaitu temuan yang diperoleh hanya berfokus pada return on asset, umur obligasi, dan peirngkat obligasi. Dengan demikian, penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat memperluas penelitian ini dengan menambahkan tahun pengamatan, memperluas jumlah sampel, dan menambah variabel penelitian
