Abstract

The objective of the research was to find the factors of the Economic Faculty s magnetism for Students Candidates to continue studying at the Economics Faculty, Semarang State University. Then, this study assessed the performances of those factors after they became Economics students. The sample of the study were Economics Faculty students from three departments; Accounting, Management, and Development Economics which consisted of 64 students on different semesters as th respondents. The data were analyzed by factor analysis to find the factors which became the Economics Faculty's magnetism. Then, the data were analyzed by Wilcoxon Rank Test to test the performances of those factors with the level of certainty was 95%. The result of the study showed that there were 4 main factors which became Economics Faculty' magnetism, they are; 1) Superiority, 2) Promotion, 3) Location and 4) Performance. Furthermore, the respondents stated that the performance of superiority factor was not satisfying while the performances of promotion, location and per formance factors were satis fying.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : (1)Untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Auditing, (2)Untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar mahasiswa, (3)Untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dosen dalam mengembangkan model dan media pembelajaran dan (4) Untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa sebelum penerapan metode problem based learning 0%, setelah penerapan metode problem based learning ketuntasan belajar dari mahasiswa setelah dilakukan uji akhir adalah 94%. Minat, keaktifan dan kerjasama mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran dengan rentangan 1-4 hasilnya baik (3,44).   Kata kunci :Kualitas pembelajaran, metode problem based learninng

Abstract

It is a pre-experiment study. The study used two classes, the first class was the treatment class using E-lena learning system and the second class was the control class without using E-lena learning system. The subject of this study was students of Office Administration of Economics Education Department, Economics Faculty, Semarang State University. The data were collected by test, and then analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The result of this study showed that using E-lena learning system could improve students’ self awareness in learning, but unfortunately the system still had some problems related to the application.

Abstract

This research aims to know the factors that determine the students’ satisfaction and to know the most dominant factor in determining their satisfaction of the library‘s services at the Economics Faculty, Semarang State University.The data were collected by using questionnaire, documentation, and interview and then the data were analyzed by using factor analysis and descriptive percentage. Findings showe that 28 analyzed variables are reduced to 23 variables. They are grouped into eight new factors that determined the students’ satisfaction of 62.668%. Meanwhile, 37.332% are influenced by other factors that are not defined in this model. The convenience and the main products factor is17.971%, the interaction factor is 8.878%, the cleanliness factor is 7.830%, the neatness factor is 6.731%, the means of support factor is 6.348%, the technical performance factor is 5.597%, the building area factor is 4.918% and the complementary product factor is 4.396%.

Abstract

Library is one of many place to get knowledge. A management library success can be seen from service quality that give to library customer. Research includes quantitative research. Population this research is all customer Wonosobo Library. Incidental sampling is the sampling technique used, by using iteration formula obtained by respondent with amount 116 costumer library. Data method using, questionnaire, interview, and documentation. Methods of data analysis are multiple linear regression  and descriptive percentage. Results showed the multiple linear regression equation is: Y ꞊ -3,489 + 0,242PK + 0,514TR + 0,519KP + 0,475FP + e. The results showed that collection processing , library layout, library management competence, and library facilities had a direct positive effect on the quality of Wonosobo library with total effect is 79,2%. Library layout give the biggest influence with 22,27%, collection processing with 13,76% total effect, management competence give influence 13,39%, and library facilities give less effect with 11,15% total effect

Abstract

This research aims at analyzing the logistic management and examining the arising problems faced when managing the logistics at economics faculty of Semarang state university. Logistics is one essential administration that should be made by an organization. The logistic procedures consist of procurement, recording, storage, distribution, maintenance, and elimination. At present, the logistic activities at economics faculty are running quite well. However, based on the studies conducted by many researchers, the logistic impacts require further examination and analysis. The pre-research study based on interviews shows that no logistic staff handles the logistic management. For the time being, the logistic activities are handled by the public utility staffs. Besides, the Standardized Operational Procedures on logistic management are still unclear.This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach. Data are obtained from informants in the forms of words, measures, and writings. Interview, observation, and documental analysis are techniques used to collect the data. Samples are taken with a purposive sampling technique and then data are analyzed using an interactive technique. Data validation is conducted using triangulation techniques and methodologies. The research results show that the logistic activities are not yet ideally running, such as poor conditioned inventory management of goods, uncontrolled stock opname; not maximally utilized forms as the controlling devices; limited warehouses for supply storage; unavailable warehouses for storage of the upcoming goods to eliminate, unscheduled goods inventory maintenance, and too long waiting period of elimination activities.

Abstract

Village governance has the broadest scope of autonomy that is as point center in implementing government programs. Consequently, the governance should prepare to improve the performance of their employee and archive management, so that it runs effectively and efficiently in providing the services for society. The hypothesis in this study is whether is an influence of physical work environment, work facilities, employee competence on the archives management and performance employees. Methods and data collection use interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) by using LISREL version 8.51. Results of study measurements obtained equation of regression PA = 0.57 + 0, 37LKF + 0, 37FASKER + 0, 25KOMPEG, Errorvar = 0.0036, R2 = 1.00 and KINPEG = 0, 21LKF + 0, 16FASKER + 0, 63KOMPEG, Errorvar = 0.00, R2 = 1.00. The results showed that the physical work environment, work facilities, and employee competence positively influenced the archive management and performance employees.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas layanan perpustakaan Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Semarang berbasis implementasi pemesanan bahan pustaka online. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan formative-sumatif evaluation model. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah pustakawan dan pemustaka (pengguna layanan pemesanan bahan pustaka online). Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan evaluasi layanan perpustakaan berbasis implementasi  pemesanan bahan pustaka online pada webisite perpustakaan FE UNNES diukur menggunakan 4 indikator: (1) keahandalan/pemenuhan, (2) desain/tampilan fitur, (3) keamanan/ privasi, dan (4) layanan pelanggan. Kualitas layanan perpustakaan berbasis implementasi pemesanan bahan pustaka online di perpustakaan FE UNNES menunjukkan bahwa telah optimal dan efisien. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya fitur pemesanan bahan pustaka online mampu memudahkan pemustaka dalam mendapatkan dan memperoleh referensi bahan pustaka secara cepat dan tepat. Selain itu, fitur ini sangat mudah diakses melalui laptop/komputer/android. Akan tetapi, apabila di lihat dari desain/tampilan fitur pemesanan bahan pustaka online ini masih kurang menarik, sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan guna meningkatkan kualitas layanan perpustakaan. Kesimpulan dalam penelitain ini adalah secara keseluruhan kualitas layanan perpustakaan berbasis implementasi pemesanan bahan pustaka online mampu meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Evaluation of online library booking service AbstractThe study aims to describe the quality of the library services based on the implementation of online booking for a book. The qualitative and formative-summative evaluation model is used in this study. The samples were then librarians and users. Methods of data collection use observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive. The result showed that the evaluation of quality service bashed on online booking has been optimal and efficient because the feature of online booking can facilitate to obtain references quickly and precisely. The quality of service measured using 4 indicators: (1) reliability, (2) design features; (3) security/privacy; and (4) customer service. In addition, the feature is very accessible via laptop/computer/android. However, when viewed from the design of feature is still less interesting, so it needs improvement of the library service quality. Conclusion, overall the quality of library service-based online booking is able to improve the service quality.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengaruh OJT, Prestasi Belajar, Informasi Kerja, dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Siswa SMK. Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh on the job training (OJT), prestasi belajar, informasi tentang kerja, dan motivasi untuk kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 140 siswa dari Kompetensi Keahlian Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran (OTKP) di SMK Negeri 1 Purbalingga. Sampling jenuh merupakan teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif kausalitas. Metode dalam mengumpulkan data penelitian ini menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan analisis data regresi berganda dan deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian diketahui: pertama, semua variabel bebas meliputi on the job training (OJT), prestasi belajar, informasi tentang kerja, dan motivasi untuk kerja memiliki pengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa yaitu masing-masing ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung sebesar  4.43, 4.335, 3.34, dan 2.44 lebih besar dari ttabel = 1.97769. Kedua, adanya pengaruh secara simultan antara on the job training (OJT), prestasi belajar, informasi tentang kerja, dan motivasi untuk kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa yaitu ditunjukkan dengan Fhitung = 63.432 Ftabel = 2,439246. Abstract: Effect of OJT, Learning Achievement, Job Information, and Work Motivation on Work Readiness of Vocational Students. The aims of this study determine the effect of of on the job training (OJT), learning achievement, information about work, and motivation to work on work readiness. The population in this study is students in class XII from OTKP at SMK Negeri 1 Purbalingga as many as 140 students. This study uses saturated sampling technique. The research methods used is a quantitative method with the type of causality. Meanwhile, the data collection was done by using questionnaire, interviews, and documentation. In this study uses multiple linier regression analysis and descriptive analysis of the percentage with significance level 0.05. The result of this study is known: firstly, the variables of on the job training (OJT), learning achievement, information about work, and motivation to work have a significantly effect the work readiness, as indicated by the value of tstat 4.43, 4.335, 3.34, and 2.44 2.44 (tcrit.). Abstract

Abstrak: Implementasi Teori SERVQUAL pada Layanan Akademik Satu Pintu. Dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan akademik, FE UNNES memperbarui pelayanan satu pintu dengan menambahkan bagian front office. Tugas front office yaitu memberikan pelayanan bagi mahasiswa terkait prosedur pengurusan surat menyurat melalui sistem surat dinas (SIRADI), layanan legalisir, layanan cetak KRS dan KHS. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sebagai penambahan bagian baru yang melayani akademik mahasiswa pada Bagian Tata Usaha FE UNNES. Kualitatif deskriptif merupakan metode dan pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan. Untuk pengumpulan data, penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan analisis data dengan Teori Interaktif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah 27 informan. Analisis data dimulai dengan menggumpulkan data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa lima dimensi kualitas pelayanan meliputi dimensi tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, dan empathy sudah baik. Namun, terdapat empat hambatan yang terjadi yaitu tempat pelayanan yang masih kurang memadai; fasilitas masih kurang lengkap dikarenakan tempat yang kurang luas; SIRADI yang terkadang error sehingga menghambat proses layanan; waktu pelayanan masih belum sesuai dengan waktu yang telah dijanjikan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu penyelenggaraan layanan akademik satu pintu sudah sesuai dengan teori SERVQUAL. Agar kepuasan mahasiswa meningkat, maka perguruan tinggi dapat meningkatkan kualitasnya dengan memperbaiki segala kendala-kendala yang dialami oleh mahasiswa. Kata kunci: layanan akademik, front office, teori kualitas pelayanan, servqual, layanan satu pintu Abstract: Implementation of SERVQUAL Theory on One-Stop Service Academic. To improve the quality of academic services, the Faculty of Economics of UNNES updated the one-door service by adding a front office. The front office duties are to provide services for students related to managing correspondence through the SIRADI system, legalization services, services about the printing of study result cards, and other academic services. Thus, this research aims to analyze the optimization of one-door educational services carried out by the Front Office of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang. This study used descriptive research methods with qualitative approaches—data collection techniques in observations, interviews, and documentation with data analysts with Interactive Theory. The data sources in this study were 27 informants. This study analyzes the data analysis through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The finding showed that five dimensions of servant quality include tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, are already promising. However, four obstacles occur: (1) the place of service that is still inadequate; (2) facilities that are still not complete due to the large area; (3) the SIRADI system that sometimes errors to impede the service process; (4) service time that is yet not following the promised time. This research concludes that the implementation of one-door academic services is following the theory of SERVQUAL. For increasing student satisfaction, universities can improve their quality by improving all the obstacles experienced by students. Keyword: academic services, front office, service quality theory, one-stop service
