Abstract

Banyuwangi is one of the famous regency in East Java province because rapid tourism development. Banyuwangi has a many tourism potential like view of the stretch of mountains, beaches, forests and local culture. Tourism in Banyuwangi has various types, one of the most enjoyed is educational tourism especially at Agrotourism Doesoen Kakao Glenmore. This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational tourism in Agrotourism Doesoen Kakao is feasible or not. This research used qualitative methods with quantitative and qualitative data. Sampling determine technique using purposive sampling for informants. The data collection techniques used are, interviews, observations, library studies and documentation. The result of this research is that educational tours Agrotourism Doesoen Kakao almost have met all the criteria. There are three criteria, namely Naturalness, Contribution to Society, and Conducting Development. Agrotourism Doesoen Kakao still does not conduct development in several parts. Agrowisata Doesoen Kakao needs to make more attractions and provide services that add more comfort to tourists. Keyword: Education Tourism, Agrotourism, and Tourism

Abstract

These project are done for discussing the culinary tourist marketing at the tourism industry by identifying some of East Timor’s traditional foods that could be developed as a culinary destination. Local culinary has a good potential to be developed and can be used as a tourist product to attract tourist for a pay visit in East Timor by the reason of foods and drinks diversity and in East Timor. The purpose of this project is to know the culinary tourist marketing as a tourism business and attract tourists in Dili, East Timor. Data gathering techniques which is used to collects in this project are observation, interview, and documentary studies and this project using primary and secondary data. The study also employs qualitative data and will be analysis with qualitative techniques methods of marketing and is made up on four (4p) marketing structure. In this project has been used concepts that are related like marketing strategies, the culinary tours, the traditional foods, tourist destination, gastonomic theory, and marketing theory. The conclusion on these research are to discover certain local culinary potential that have been exploited as a culinary tourist destination. Tourist marketing that could developed tradional foods from East Timor should be give to East Timor’s sustainability. Keywords : Marketing Strategies, Culinary Tourism, Traditional Food.

Abstract

Tourists who come to visit Bali with their families will visit child-friendly tourist villages. The goal is that the child has a sense of security and comfort when visiting a tourist village. The experience will learn a new tourist area will increase enthusiasm and refresh children from all their activities. The identification of child- friendly tourism-based tourism villages is carried out to determine the level of safety, comfort and learning that children will get when carrying out tourism activities in the tourist village of Pemuteran, Buleleng Regency. The problem raised in this study is the identification of child-friendly tourism-based tourism villages and the identification of supporting facilities provided by tourism service providers in Pemuteran tourism village, Buleleng Regency. Abstract

Waturaka Tourism Village is a community-based development. Waturaka tourism village has a wealth of natural resource assets and also a very massive culture. Therefore, managing elements of tourism products through the concept of “community based tourism” is ideal in an effort to provide economic benefits for local communities, nature and cultural conservation amid the rampant negative conventional mass tourism. This study aims to look at the components of tourism planning and community participation in it to produce philosophical implementation of community-based tourism.Technique used to collect the data in this research is observation, interview as well as literature study. Descriptive qualitative is used as the data analysis technique in this research. The results of this study indicate that, the management of the tourism product component in Waturaka tourism village was managed by community with a very high level of participation (citizen power) on one hand but not on the other. It is because the motive of local people's enthusiasm to develop community-based tourism in terms of awareness of global reality. Suggestions from this research are tourism awareness groups ( Kelompok sadar wisata) are expected to build networks with external parties in the context of the tourism village marketing, the government and non-government organization is expected to continue to empower local communities so as to produce massive competence in the tourism industry in order to provide maximum satisfaction to tourists. Abstract

Sipiso-piso Waterfall located in Karo District, North Sumatra can be used as a superior attraction because it has great potential to be developed compared to other attractions around Lake Toba because this waterfall is one of the most popular tourist attractions. However, there are several obstacles on the development of Sipiso-piso Waterfall tourism such as tourism stakeholders who do not cooperate well such as the provision of supporting facilities that should be provided by the tour manager, namely the Karo District government instead, provided by the local community. Based on this phenomenon, it is necessary to know the management of Sipiso-piso Waterfall and how much participation of local people in the management of Sipiso-piso Waterfall. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research aims to To find out how to manage Sipiso-piso waterfall in Karo District, North Sumatra To find out how far the participation of local people in the management of Sipiso-piso waterfall. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and literature. Determination of informants using Purposive Sampling techniques. The results of this research is that the community in the management of Sipiso-Piso Water Tourism Attraction at the planning stage is at the encouraged participation type, at the community organizing stage is at the spontaneous participation as well as at the mobilization stage, while at the community supervision stage is at the encouraged participation type. Abstract

Community service in form of practical tourism and foreign language training for local merchants and guides in Penglipuran tourist village, Bangli regency was aimed at improving the knowledge of Japanese tourism and vocabulary and English in accordance with the appropriate grammar. The targets in this training were local merchants and guides in Penglipuran village who had less knowledge about tourism and the proper usage of foreign language. Not only the training of tourism and practical foreign languages, local merchants and guides were also given knowledge about the characteristics of domestic and international tourists, as well as ways of serving the tourists in accordance with the agreed standards. The special target of this dedication was to find a social formula to solve the problems that occurred in the tourist village of Penglipuran. The fostering system implemented so far was less effective so that it led to a decline in knowledge about tourism and foreign languages for local merchants and guides who were the tourism actors expected to provide correct information to the tourists. If this was left unchecked, the number of tourist arrivals and local merchants and guides who had international standard capability would continue to decrease annually. The method of devotion used was the workshop and FGD so that the results of teaching could be understood by Penglipuran village management to continue to conduct trainings that educate local merchants and guides.

Abstract

Pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus paralyzed many sectors of activities in the community, including thetourism sector so that a strategy to promote tourism through virtual travel is needed. Traveling is difficultto do because of restrictions on activities carried out by the government, in order to reduce the rate of spreadof this disease. People are forced to be quiet and work indoors, although some types of jobs are still allowedto move. Staying indoors and not being able to travel can certainly cause its own stress. On social media later,one of them, appeared various services that offer virtual tourism services, including those held by theMinistry of Tourism. This service invites participants to travel together through various online media,provided by a guide who will lead the course of the activity, just as is commonly done in the real world. Thispromotional strategy is expected to be able to; 1) increase tourist interest in virtual traveling, 2) the creationof digital tourism for the future, 3) ease of travel, 4) Emphasis on travel costs, 5) the sustainability of virtualtraveling. The purpose of this study was to look at the promotional strategies carried out by Kemenparekrafand Traveloka, as well as review the effectiveness of the virtual travel service. To be able to answer theproblem, quantitative research methods are used by distributing questionnaires to a number of eightystudents. Abstract

This study aims to describe the potential of coastal tourism at the Open Beach of Denpasar City. Denpasar City isadministratively divided into 4 sub-districts from west to east, namely West Denpasar District, East Denpasar District, NorthDenpasar District, and South Denpasar District. One of the coastal tourism in Denpasar City is located in the Open BeachRecreation Area which stretches on the coast of Sanur Kaja Village to Sanur Kauh Village, where the Sanur village community hasmanaged natural resources by paying attention to environmental balance and harmony.This study applies the Principles of Sustainable Coastal Tourism which are described as follows: 1. The Principle ofBalance Tourism management must be based on a commitment to a balanced pattern between economic development, socioculture,and conservation, 2. The Principle of Community Participation Involving the community in the management of tourismbusinesses, 3. Principles of Conservation Have concern, responsibility, and commitment to environmental conservation (nature andculture), 4. Principles of Integrated Management pay attention to ecosystem conditions and synergize with the development ofvarious sectors, 5. Abstract

The condition of Bali tourism during the Covid-19 pandemic has become very concerning, on the one hand, the need fortravel is very high but cannot be balanced with the fact of the opening and closing of tourist destinations. Some of thetourist destinations that were closed were used as an opportunity for managers to renovate managed tourist destinationsto comply with CHSE standards. The current conditions have also provided new lessons for managers and touristsregarding the safety of traveling during a pandemic. Special interest tourism such as educational tours is currently indemand by family tourists who want to spend time with family and learn about the culture of local people. Bali ChocolateVillage is Chocolate Village is a new tourist destination in Bali since October 2020. It is located in Cau Village, MargaDistrict, Tabanan Regency. The founder of Chocolate Village is Dr. Ir. I Wayan Alit Artha Wiguna, M.Si. who built the touristattraction of Chocolate Village. Chocolate Village began to be known for educational tours that can provide insight forchild tourists about how the process of growing chocolate fruit to the process of making it. Chocolate Village is a favoritedestination today by local tourists and residents. The founder of Chocolate Village is I Wayan Alit Artha Wiguna who wantsto provide new educational tours for child tourists to learn new lessons about the chocolate-making process and educatetourists so that they get to know the chocolate tree which is one of the plantation plants in Indonesia. This child-friendlytourism-based educational tour is expected to: 1) Become a pilot for child-friendly tourist attractions. 2) Promote childfriendlybased educational tourism in every attraction of educational tours. 3) There is a change in the perspective ofvisitors related to the benefits of educational tourism activities.The formulation of the problems to be raised is 1) The potential of Bali Chocolate Village as a child-friendly tourismbasededucational tour 2) the existing condition of Bali Chocolate Village as a tour Child-Friendly Travel-Based EducationData were collected by observation, in-depth interviews, dissemination of questionnaires, literature studies, anddocumentation techniques. Data analysis techniques use descriptive qualitative and SWOT. Abstract

To develop a village into a well develop tourism village need a good quality of human resources. Empowerment is one of the best solutions to make local people join in the process of tourism activities. As a tourism village, Undisan need to have support from local people to make the village flourist. To give the best service and to make Undisan to next level people need to be educated about tourism. The purpose of this research’s to identified empower local communities in Undisan Tourism Village. Primary data sources and secondary data sources were used this study. To collect the data for this research were using three techniques. Purposive sampling technique is used to choose the informants. To analyse the data using qualitative analysis data. To help in analyzing data in this research using concept empowerment, local communities, rural tourism. The conclusion from this research is Undisan village already have good empowerment for local people. Eventhought already raach the third stage, all stage was not fully operational.
