Abstract

The financial sector has an important role to improve people's welfare and encourage global economic growth. Financial literacy and financial inclusion, as two of the three pillars contained in the consumer empowerment trilogy, every pillar has a close correlation with another. This correlation has a direct proposition correlation. This study aims to see the effect of literacy and inclusion on financial investment decisions in Manado, either only partially or simultaneously. This research is quantitative research with a multiple linear regression method. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents in Manado and its surroundings. The population in this research are all citizens of Manado who have financial investment instruments. This research has results: 1) financial literacy and financial inclusion have a simultaneous and significant influence on investment decisions in Manado. 2) Variable financial literacy partially affects investment decisions very significantly. 3) Variable financial inclusion affects the investment decision variable partially and significantly in Manado. The conclusion of this research is financial literacy and financial inclusion are indeed important things in developing the financial sector, including investment. In the city of Manado itself, it has been proven that financial literacy and inclusion can affect the quality of an investment. Keyword: financial literacy, financial inclusion, investment decision, consumer empowerment trilogy

Abstract

Job specialization involves breaking down a task to its lowest level and designing jobs around each part. This creates specialization, expertise, and improved quality. Many studies on specialization works and practice are carried out in private organizations even though specialization can be applied in all field professions. The purpose of this study is to find out regarding job specialization’s effect on employees. This study uses a qualitative method and interviews with informants were conducted to gain information regarding the phenomenon. The findings of this study show that employees uphold their duties and responsibilities professionally, other factors like the superior evaluations and the clients' satisfaction rates also played a large role for the workers to keep their performance stable. Recommendations proposed and found within this research based on the result and analysis are to maintain a good environment within the workplace. The other is to keep and cultivate the mentioned factors such as skills, experiences, and knowledge to increase the work's production rates by accomplishing the entrusted jobs efficiently.  Keywords: Human resource management, job types, job description, division of labor, job specialization

Abstract

In the last two decades, tourism activities have grown rapidly to become one of the mainstays in the economic field. The most popular destination is Bunaken National Park which is believed to be one of the most beautiful marine parks in the world. This study aims to analyze the attractiveness of Manado as a tourism destination. The reason the researcher chooses this topic is because not much research on tourism has been done in recent years, including Manado. This study uses a descriptive qualitative methodology and takes seven informants who are tourists in the city of Manado and have visited Manado more than twice, both locally and internationally. Researchers conclude that attraction is a force that attracts tourists. Based on the analysis, the conclusions given in this study are Cultural Sites in Manado are the main attraction for tourists to visit Manado, access to places visited in Manado needs to be maintained so as not to lose their value, Facilities for tourists in Manado are sufficient and need to be maintained , The local community has done well in its part which will attract tourists to stay in Manado. Keyword: destination attractiveness, local community

Abstract

In this era of technology, Online Game is getting famous because gaming are hobbies for people. Exploring the emergence of Online Games and the impact to the other gaming platform, why they want to play online games rather than the other conventional gaming and could give information to marketer, developer, and publisher in order to improving their business. This In this era of technology, Online Game is getting famous because gaming are hobbies for people. Exploring the emergence of Online Games and the impact to the other gaming platform, why they want to play online games rather than the other conventional gaming and could give information to marketer, developer, and publisher in order to improving their business. This research was conducted to identify the immersion attributes for Gamer in Manado City. This research gathered data from 100 respondents, which were taken by using Purposive Sampling method. Correspondence analysis is applied in this research to analyze the immersion attribute and to measure the inertia; in this research the inertia value is 0.152 which is the row-column association is considered significant. Five immersion attributes were found as the important factors in this research. Those attributes are Accessibility, Price, Enjoyment, Social Interaction and Achievement. From the result of data analysis processed by Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) Version 24, Correspondence measurement indicates that the immersion attribute have strong correlation between conventional gaming platforms and immersion attribute using perceptual map. Based on the results of Correspondence Analysis, Accessibility is closely associated with PC game, Price with Mobile Game, Enjoyment with PC game, social interaction with Mobile Game, and Achievement with Console game. Keywords: accessibility, price, enjoyment, social interaction, achievement, mobile gaming

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of packaging design and in-store shopping environment on consumer impulsive buying decision both partially and simultaneously. The population of this research consisted of Nature Republic store consumers. The number of samples was 96 people and using purposive sampling method. The data was collected by using Google forms online for the survey questionnaire. This research uses the quantitative approach and used Multiple Regression Analysis. And the results showed that all hypotheses were accepted. The result showed that Packaging Design and In-Store Shopping Environment have a significant effect on Impulsive Buying simultaneously. Moreover, Packaging Design and In-Store Shopping Environment also have a significant effect on Impulsive Buying. As the recommendation of this research, Nature Republic should pay more attention to the packaging of each product to make it more attractive and to further improve the environmental atmosphere that can attract the attention of visitors. Keywords: packaging design, in-store shopping environment, impulsive buying.

Abstract

The importance of PDAM Manado City services to meet the clean water supply needs of the Manado City community cannot be separated from the role of PDAM Manado City employees who are always required to be productive for the fulfillment of community needs. So that it cannot be separated from the Leadership Style that can encourage employee productivity and is also related to the provision of rewards or awards in order to ensure the employee wellbeing who has had a positive impact on PDAM Manado City. The purpose of this study is researcher want to investigate the effect of Leadership style and Reward System simultaneously toward the Wellbeing of PDAM Manado’s employees. This study using a quantitative method and multiple linear regression analysis as a tool to analyze the data that has been collected. Based on the result, the researcher provided several recommendations which are: Must improving and evaluating the leadership style that is carried out. Abstract

Employees are the most important assets of the organization that is why organizations always try to avoid losing their employees because employees are the key performers to obtain the organization's expected success. Nowadays, the big problem of the organization is to maintain the employee from having the intention to leave or to turnover, especially the employee who has a quality of human resources. This research aims to know the work-life conflict and sexual harassment impact towards employee turnover intentions at GMIM Kalooran Amurang hospital with a quantitative approach. The binary logistic regression method was used to analyze the impact of work-life conflict and sexual harassment on employee turnover intentions. The data collection method in this research used secondary data and primary data, where the primary data was obtained from the questionnaires of the 53 samples of employees in GMIM Kalooran Amurang Hospital. The results of this research suggested that work-life conflict does not have an impact on employee turnover intentions at GMIM Kalooran Amurang Hospital partially, sexual harassment have an impact on employee turnover intentions at GMIM Kalooran Amurang Hospital partially, and work-life conflict and sexual harassment have an impact towards employee turnover intentions at GMIM Kalooran Amurang Hospital simultaneously.

Abstract

Salah satu bisnis ritel yang sangat diminati konsumen untuk berbelanja saat ini adalah Indomaret. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui apakah Kualitas Pelayanan, Harga dan Lokasi berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen di Indomaret Point Kawasan Megamas pasa masa pandemi Covid-19, (2) Untuk mengetahui apakah Kualitas Pelayanan berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen di Indomaret Point Kawasan Megamas pada masa pandemi Covid-19, (3) Untuk mengetahui apakah Harga berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen di Indomaret Point Kawasan Megamas pada masa pandemi Covid-19, (4) Untuk mengetahui apakah Lokasi berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen di Indomaret Point Kawasan Megamas pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif dan teknik analisis yaitu Regresi Linear Berganda. Teknik Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui kuesioner, dimana jumlah sampel sebanyak 130 responden. Dari hasil uji secara simultan diperoleh bahwa variabel Kualitas Pelayanan, Harga, dan Lokasi, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen di Indomaret Point Kawasan Megamas, dan hasil uji secara parsial diperoleh bahwa variabel Kualitas Pelayanan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen di Indomaret Point Kawasan Megamas, sedangkan Harga dan Lokasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen di Indomaret Point Kawasan Megamas. Kata Kunci: kualitas pelayanan, harga, lokasi, keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui pengaruh daya tarik iklan terhadap minat beli pada aplikasi   Shopee, mengetahui pengaruh potongan harga terhadap minat beli pada aplikasi Shopee, dan mengeetahui pengaruh Minat beli terhadap Keputusan Pembelian pada aplikasi Shopee. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi empiris dengan pendekatan penelitian Asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh konsumen Shopee pada angkatan 2017 jurusan manajemen Fakltas Ekonomi Dan Bisnis Universitas Sam Ratulangi Manado 441 mahasiswa terdiri dari 159 laki-laki dan 282 perempuan. teknik pengumpulan data Kuisioner dengan jumlah responden yang diperoleh adalah 123 responden. Pengujian intrumen pada studi ini dilakukan berdasarkan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan Daya tarik iklan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap minat belanja (beli) konsumen pada aplikasi belanja Shopee.Potongan harga (discount) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap minat belanja (beli) konsumen pada aplikasi belanja Shopee.Minat belanja (beli) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan belanja (beli) konsumen pada aplikasi belanja Shopee. Kata Kunci: Daya Tarik Iklan, Potongan Harga, Minat beli, Keputusan Pembelian

Abstract

MSMEs are one of the sectors hardest hit from the Covid-19 pandemic. Whereas the sector is the sector that absorbs the most labor around 97%, digital technology that is applied in this economic sector, will encourage opportunities for the growth of MSMEs that drive the economy. This study aims to analyze the Influence of MSMEs and Creative Economies on Economic resilience in the new normal. The population in this study were students of Sam Ratulangi University. The sampling technique was purposive sampling and obtained 55 businesses that were used as samples. The multiple regression analysis methods is used to analyze the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The results showed that partially MSMEs did not affect economic resilience in the new normal and Creative Economies had a significant positive effect on economic resilience in the new normal. Simultaneously, MSMEs and Creative Economies have a significant effect on Economic resilience in the new normal. MSMEs are encouraged to always improve their innovation so that they continue to provide the latest breakthroughs and always survive in any situation. Keywords: MSMEs, Creative Economy, Economic Resilience
