Abstract

Basically all madrasas are obliged to make quality assurance efforts to meet and even exceed national education standards. To guarantee and control the quality of education, evaluation, accreditation, and certification are carried out. However, in reality there are still many madrasas that have not made serious efforts to carry out these obligations. Efforts that need to be made by madrasas to meet national education standards which include content standards, process standards, graduate competency standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, management standards, financing standards, educators and education personnel standards, and assessment standards. Strategies that need to be implemented by madrasas to meet national education standards, especially by utilizing all potential, compiling work plans and programs as needed, encouraging all components of madrasas to improve their performance, forming a quality assurance team, fixing learning tools, enforcing madrasa rules, expanding cooperation with the business world and industry, madrasa committees, supervisors, and the government, facilitate teachers and education personnel to improve competence, evaluate every activity that has been carried out, and document all evidence of madrasa activities. Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan bagaimana suatu pendekatan manajemen yang dilakukan pada saat implementasi supervisi akademik kepala madrasah pada MTSN 4 Tabalong. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitiannya yang pertama adalah dalam pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala madrasah dan tim supervisor di MTSN 4 Tabalong menggunakan pendekatan langsung dan teknik individu dengan langkah-langkah yaitu pra observasi, pelaksanaan observasi/kunjungan kelas, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut, serta laporan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik serta factor-faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang meliputi kompetensi guru dalam hal kemampuan paedagogik berdasarkan pendekatan prinsip-prinsip manajemen, kemampuan kepala madrasah dalam menciptakan pola hubungan yang baik dengan seluruh komponen sekolah, faktor penghambat internal yakni banyak guru yang tidak bersedia sebagai tenaga tim supervisor dan faktor eksternal yang meliputi adanya sarana penunjang yang kurang terpenuhi, serta kurangnya waktu dalam pelaksanaan supervisi akademik. Kesimpulan menyatakan bahwa supervisi akademik yang dilakukan oleh kepala MTSN 4 Tabalong berdampak positif kepada semua guru terutama dalam penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze cases of State Vocational Schools that have implemented school management (MS) with the Balanced Score Card (BSC). This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Amuntai. Data sources were obtained from: Educators, Education Staff, Students, and Student Parents, EDS Documents, and School Alumni Documents. The results showed that the overall performance of SMK Negeri 2 Amuntai was in the good category. The performance of the financial perspective obtains a good performance value, for 3E analysis, as a whole it does not meet the requirements only 2E, namely obtaining the title of very economical and efficient. For effectiveness, it has not met the requirements because it has received the title of less effective. External customer performance scores in the very good category. Internal customer satisfaction scores a pretty good category. While the performance of the internal business process perspective shows quite good performance. From the results of this study it is hoped that SMK Negeri 2 Amuntai (1) will improve performance in a perspective that is in the category of good enough to be good or very good, (2) the rating of school self-evaluation (EDS) should be increased so that it can obtain a rating above 2 maybe even it can reach a rating of 3. (3) school leaders should be more accommodating and creative in dealing with some educational staff who are dissatisfied with the situation and conditions that exist at SMK Negeri 2 Amuntai, so that performance is getting better.
