Abstract

AbstractThe objective of this research are to compute anda compare the chili farming in the both first planting period and second planting period, to compute chili farming income both the first planting period and second planting period. The research location is taken intentionally (purposive sampling) of three villages as the center of the village production chili in three villages namenly Danowudu, Apela II and Kumorsot in five months, from December 2012 until May 2013. Sampling technique census is conducted on 24 respondents divided into two groups based on the first planting period and second planting period. Data used in this research is farmer’s income. Data analysis uses standard deviation, coefficient of variation and lower income limit.The results showed the risk of chili farming in the first period of planting was Rp.2.343.347 with relative level 0.41 and a lower limit of income was Rp 1.081.287. Even the risk of chili farming in the second period of planting was Rp. 4.144.513 with relative level 0.41 and a lower limit of income was Rp – 192.776. The second period of planting had greater risk than the first period of planting. The sources of risk that the chili farming experienced in first and second period of planting are the source of physical risk and the source of economic risk. That chili farming average income in the first period of planting was Rp. 5.917.732 per hectare with the range from Rp 2.854.792 per hectare to Rp 8.910.122 per hectare, and that chili farming average income in the second period of planting was Rp 8.265.574 per hectare with the range from Rp 2.577.415 per hectare to Rp 14.712.370 per hectare.Farmers need to take a risk to get more profit and to intensify their farming. Role of the government is to introduce more technology that can help the farmers in developing chili farming to make it better.

Rengkung as members.The objective of this research is to know the mix of crop farming anddetermine farm in come mix plant the manumpitaeng village, manganitu subdistrict, Sangihe Island Regency.Data connected in this study is primary data and secondary data.Determining the sample of the research is conducted by purposive randomsampling which is based on a mixed crop farming that are already production.Sample used in this research is 9 people. Data in the study were analyzeddescriptively where the data collected is presented in tabular from and todetermine whether a mix crop farming is profitable or not by using R/C ratio farmin come mix plant, in village Manumpitaeng. Manganitu District, Sangihearchipelago district of the analysis return cost ratio (R/C) as a whole is greaterthan one that was 1,83 it means that the income earned in a single productionprocess is beneficial.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aims of the study are to determine the development of BRI credit which has distributed in the agriculture sector, to know and to analyze the development of its credit financing on agriculture and non agriculture, to know about non performing loans at BRI. The research was conducted at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk specifically at Tondano Minahasa District Branch. In this research only on certain BRI unit that ditributes credits to agriculture sector. Those units are unit BRI Langowan, unit BRI Kawangkoan, unit BRI Tondano, and unit BRI Sonder. The data were analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative descriptive data analysis then were presented in Tables. The results show that the financing plan and credit that distributed by BRI branch in Tondano to agriculture sector in Minahasa is increasing from year to year. It can be seen from the financing achievement provided by BRI is greater than the BRI financing target. The development of BRI agriculture and non agriculture financing has experienced of increasing from 2011 to 2013 through BRI credit such as KUR Mikro and KKP-E. BRI has faced credit problems when the time of credit repayment in which the NPL of non agriculture is 50% as for agriculture sector NPL is only 20%. This may happen because of the lenders could not pay their debts.

Abstract

ABSTRACTJuwita Walewangko. Organic Vegetables Farming Development Strategy in Kakaskasen Two village, District of North Tomohon in Tomohon (under Guidance Juliana Mandei as Chairman, Lyndon Pangemananan and Ellen G.Tangkere as Members).The purpose of this study is to identify the internal conditions: strengths, weaknesses, and external: opportunities, threats in the development of organic farming of vegetables in Kakaskasen Two village of North Tomohon district in Tomohon city and to formulate the development strategies of organic farming of vegetables in the village.Data collection was conducted over three months, since november 2014 until the month of February 2015. The data collection method is a survey method. The data obtained are primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and interviews directly to the department of Agriculture, Head of Kakaskasen Two village, farmer groups, farmers and consumers. Next the secondary data obtained through Badan Penyuluhan Pertanian Perikanan dan Kehutanan (BP3K) of North Tomohon in Tomohon. The sample were 30 respondents of organic vegetable farmers in which consist of 5 people tomato farmers, 15 farmers cauliflower and cabbage 10 farmers. SWOT analysis were used in this research to analyse the data.The results of this study indicate that a force for the development of organic farming vegetable farmers have experienced and mastered the technology, has a cooperation agreement with the Department of Agriculture, Head Kakaskasen two, and BP3K, organic production facilities are available and that the weakness is the future land conversion requires considerable time that is 2-3 years old, organic productivity is low, there is no labeling of organic products so the price is the same as the inorganic. Organic agriculture has the opportunity to be developed in the Village Kakaskasen two is the support of the government, increasing the public keasadaran to consume organic vegetables but face a threat that is the competition with other local farmers and reduced consumer confidence in the market because it is generally not 100 percent organic. Agricultural development strategy of organic vegetables in the Village Kakaskasen two are improving the ability and skills possessed by farmers, organic vegetables and quality assurance in cooperation with the Department of agriculture, and the labeling BP3K colored according to the levels of organic vegetables, to socialize constantly, and expand organic vegetable farming to benefit from access to capital as well as increased public awareness to consume organic products. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to determine differences in productivity and farmers income cut flower chrysanthemum training and who do not follow P4S training. The results showed the productivity and income of chrysanthemum cut flower growers who follow P4S greater than the chrysanthemum cut flower growers who do not follow P4S, is the average productivity of cut flower growers who follow P4S amounted to 43.44 stalk while farmers who do not follow P4S at 37.51 stalk and the average income of farming chrysanthemums at the farmers who follow P4S with a land area of 1000m2 Rp. 85.676.071.37 while farmers who do not follow P4S Rp. 67.913.685.99.From the results obtained, this training center P4S succeeded in giving instruction to farmers. Evident from the productivity and income of farmers cut chrysanthemum flowers that follow P4S greater than chrysanthemum cut flower growers who do not follow the P4S.

Abstract

ABSTRACT CHRYSTIAWAN ADJIE SENGKA. Labor Sectoral Analysis At Tomohon. Under the guidance (Juliana R. Mandei as Chairman, Lyndon R. J. Pangemanan and Maya H. Montolalu as Members.) This study aims to determine the growth rate of the labor sector and to determine the relation between economic growth (GDP) and employment rates to Tomohon. This research wasconducted for four months from December 2014 to March 2015 in Tomohon. In this study, the data used is secondary data obtained from the relevant agencies, namely the office of the Central Statistics Agency in Tomohon. The data is processed using descriptive analysis and presented in the from of tables and graphs. These result indicate that the potential sectors listed in Tomohon are very good in supporting regional economic growth and the growth rate of labor. More specifically in the services sector in Tomohon which has very high potential in employment. The growth rate of labor in Tomohon in 5-year period (2009-2013) has increased. In percentage of labor force growth rate and percentage rate of economic growth (GDP) each year for 5 years from 2009-2013 employment growth rate amounted to 10,17 percent, while the rate of economic growth (GDP) amounted to 10,02 percent. It can be seen that employment elasticity of 1,01 in which the figure is greater than 1 (>1), means that if the amount of GDP increased 1 %, the number of workers absorbed is equal to 1,01 %. Thus, is a relation between economic growth (GDP) and employment. Keyword : Labor and Economic sectors

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study purpose is to determine the potential and development strategies in the area of food crops in agropolite region of West Kawangkoan District. This research was conducted for three months starting from April 2015 until June 2015 in West Kawangkoan District.  To determine the potential of food crops in in West Kawangkoan District was analyzed descriptively and to analyze the development strategy of food crops in the agropolitan region in West Kawangkoan District the writer’s using SWOT analysis. The results of the study showed that the agropolitan region in West Kawangkoan District has the potential for planting corn and peanuts because it is supported by a good land, good infrastructure of buildings, roads, transportation, market, electricity and telecommunications to support agricultural activities and also industry partnerships with other agencies for the development of agropolitan. The strategies for food crops development  in Western Kawangkoan  the farmers are to utilize the resources and skills in managing food crops of corn and peanuts, to increase productivity of food crops by using the appropriate technology, maximizing of the processing industry to meet the demand of consumers, to establish good cooperation with the Government in doing mentoring and monitoring of the distribution of seeds, fertilizer and  agricultural tools/machineries from manufacturer up to the diluent, merchants, to farmers in order to make available in a timely manner, as well as enhance cooperation between farmers with processing industry and animal feed industry results in developing regions of the western Kawangkoan as an agropolitan area. This region was selected based on the results from a SWOT analysis which was located in the first cell of second quandran is an aggressive strategy, this strategy can spur growth and development of food crops especially maize and peanuts in district Kawangkoan. Abstract

ABSTRACT Friyantiarno Lasabuda, 080314034, Household Economic of Coffee Farmer in East Purworejo Modayag Distric East Bolaang Mongondow Regency under the guidance of Juliana Mandei as chairman, Jenny Baroleh and Jean Timban as members. This research aims to know how the characteristics of coffee farmer in East Purworejo Modayag Distric East Bolaang Mongondow Regency and how the revenue scheme and expenditure of the coffee farmer in this village. This research wasconducted in East Purworejo Modayag Distric East Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The data used in this study is primary data and secondary data, the primary data obtained from direct interview to 30 respondents of coffee farmer in east purworejo village and the secondary data obtained from related agency. Data are analyzed descriptively and presented in tabular form. The results showed that the income of coffee farmers in East Purworejo revenue comes from three sources, which is: coffee farming, farm income other than coffee, and income outside of farming, while household farmers expenditure is divided into three, which is food consumption expenditure, consumption expenditure non-food production and production investment and education. Coffee as the main agricultural commodity in this village with a large production costs are not capable of providing significant advantages over the life of farmers so that farmers seek other alternatives to cover household needs From this research, farmers in the East Purworejo to meet the needs of households consisting of consumption of food, non-food and investment. To cover the needs of farmers in this village not only rely on coffee farming as a main source of income but rather cultivate other crops and professions outside of farming in order to be able to cover the needs of farm households.
