Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between individuals and the environment and is displayed in the form of desired behavioral changes. Learning in schools must be able to bridge the knowledge that students already have with the new knowledge that will be built. This research discusses how Albert Bandura's social learning theory emphasizes the importance of elementary school students in processing their own knowledge obtained from observing models in their environment. This learning theory can be implemented in learning with the assumption that learning can be through observation, learning is an internal process that is reflected in behavior, learning is a reciprocal influence between environmental variables, behavior and individuals, and behavior is goal-oriented and self-regulated. This provides an understanding that learning is the result of students' ability to interpret knowledge or information, interpret a model that is imitated, then process it cognitively and determine actions according to the desired goals. Students are encouraged to think critically and creatively to analyze problems and find alternative solutions to problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the effectiveness of Wordwall media on student learning outcomes in Grade IV of Elementary School in Pancasila Education Learning. The type of research used is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model consisting of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Research instruments with tests, observations and questionnaires. Research data obtained from the pretest and posttest in the form of a percentage of the total score of each respondent and the average. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes with the application of Wordwall media, this was evidenced by the learning outcomes in the posttest, namely the percentage of students who completed the trial school SDN 26 Sungai Nanam obtained a percentage of 94.73%, then at the Implementation school SDN 02 Sungai Nanam obtained a percentage of 82.60% and the Effectiveness Test at SDN 18 Sungai Nanam 88%. Thus it can be concluded that the Wordwall-based evaluation media in grade IV of Elementary School is declared effective for use.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that technology-based learning media is not yet optimally used by teachers in the learning process. Teachers have not yet provided students with the opportunity to use them directly and independently thru technological devices. This research aims to develop interactive media using Smart Apps Creator that is valid and practical. This research is a type of Research and Development study using the ADDIE model. Data was collected thru expert validation and teacher and student response practicality. The subjects of this research are fourth-grade students in one of the districts in Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The research results show that the interactive media developed using Smart Apps Creator is highly valid, with an average validity of 95.56%. The practicality test results of the interactive media show that it is very practical, with scores of 96% for teacher and 96.13% for student in the first school, 98% for teacher and 93.69% for student in the second school, and 96% for teacher and 95% for student in the third school. Thus, the interactive media developed using the Smart Apps Creator application is valid and practical for use in Pancasila Education learning in grade IV elementary school.
