Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between individuals and the environment and is displayed in the form of desired behavioral changes. Learning in schools must be able to bridge the knowledge that students already have with the new knowledge that will be built. This research discusses how Albert Bandura's social learning theory emphasizes the importance of elementary school students in processing their own knowledge obtained from observing models in their environment. This learning theory can be implemented in learning with the assumption that learning can be through observation, learning is an internal process that is reflected in behavior, learning is a reciprocal influence between environmental variables, behavior and individuals, and behavior is goal-oriented and self-regulated. This provides an understanding that learning is the result of students' ability to interpret knowledge or information, interpret a model that is imitated, then process it cognitively and determine actions according to the desired goals. Students are encouraged to think critically and creatively to analyze problems and find alternative solutions to problems.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the efforts of teachers in internalizing Pancasila values to fifth-grade students at SDN 03 Bandar Buat, Padang City. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that teachers implement four main efforts: (1) exemplary behavior in daily attitudes and actions, (2) routine habituation activities such as congregational prayers, classroom duties, and reading Juz 'Amma, (3) integration of Pancasila values across all subjects, and (4) individual and collective guidance. The obstacles faced include limited supporting facilities and infrastructure, lack of student awareness in consistently practicing Pancasila values, and external factors such as insufficient parental support and negative peer influences. Solutions implemented include optimizing existing facilities, consistent habituation with positive reinforcement, persuasive and gradual guidance, and intensive communication with parents through parent meetings and class communication groups. The success of internalizing Pancasila values requires continuous collaboration among schools, teachers, students, and parents.

This study aims to determine student satisfaction with learning for the Digital-Based Learning Evaluation course in the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program. This research was conducted using a survey method through giving a questionnaire with a total of 100 respondents who took this course. The questionnaire was given through google form with a total of 18 statements. The data were analyzed descriptively by presenting the acquisition of each aspect of satisfaction. The results show that student satisfaction is in a very high category, namely in the aspect of learning planning at 89.88%, the aspect of teaching ability of lecturers at 90.33% and the use of technology in learning at 86.37%. Thus, the learning process of the Digital-Based Learning Evaluation course has a significant effect on student satisfaction both in terms of lecturer planning and the form of technology used.

Abstract

This study was conducted in response to the low achievement in Social Studies among fourth-grade students at SDN 14 Koto Lalang. A considerable number of students failed to meet the Minimum Mastery Criterion (75), indicating that learning outcomes had not yet reached the expected standard. The issue was associated with teacher-centered instructional practices that limited student engagement and active participation. This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model in enhancing students’ learning outcomes and classroom involvement. The study employed Classroom Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches implemented in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The participants included one teacher and 27 fourth-grade students in Padang. Data were collected through observation, tests, non-test instruments, and documentation. The findings were analyzed descriptively using percentage calculations and mean scores. The results demonstrated that the application of the TGT model improved instructional quality and significantly increased student engagement in group discussions, academic games, and tournament activities. Students’ average scores showed consistent improvement from the first to the second cycle, with most students achieving or surpassing the established criterion. In conclusion, the TGT model proved effective in improving Social Studies learning outcomes for fourth-grade students.
