Abstract

ABSTRACT Infidelity has always been an interesting topic to talk about amongst peers or even a viral headline on our social media. This phenomenon is also known as an undercurrent social symptom that is based on emotional connection and leans more on the doers' biological needs. The researcher is interested in finding the perception of the doers of committing infidelity despite their legal status. The research relies on the Phenomenology of Perception and Symbolic Interactionism. Narrations, stories, and wordings are being used as a qualitative analysis of the characteristics of Enklarendes Verstehen which started with silence. Analysis was carried out through an interpretive approach. The informant's status when asked for information was still (husband/wife), had or was still having an affair Silence is crucial and effective in listening and gathering valuable information to reach an understanding of the actions of other people in doing something. The research concludes that the act of infidelity results in the doers having two opposite feelings at the same time; happy yet restless, exciting but feels so challenged and addicted such as the spice of rujak. This is aligned with the phenomenology of communication that there is no conceptual schema besides an experience to reveal the truth than an observation. Keywords: Phenomenology, Perception, Symbolic Interactionism ABSTRAK Hubungan perselingkuhan kerap menjadi topik seru bahkan viral dibicarakan dalam beranda media sosial. Abstract

Effective communication between family members and children with special needs can improve understanding, support, and quality of daily interactions. Through open and responsive communication, family members can help children with special needs feel supported and valued and help them achieve their quality of life. Parents of children with special needs are very involved in all their children's activities and provide them with care. This study aims to determine the relationship between family communication, attitudes, and acceptance of caring for children with special needs. This study was designed using descriptive causality with a quantitative approach and a positivistic paradigm. The location of the study was the Jabodetabek area. Primary data were obtained directly from selected respondents through structured interviews using questionnaires. The measurement of sample size was carried out using Structural Equation Model Analysis - Partial Least Structural (SEM-PLS)-SmartPLS version 3. The results showed that family interpersonal communication had a significant relationship with attitudes of acceptance of caring for children with special needs. In addition, family communication patterns also influenced attitudes of acceptance, although the effect was minor compared to direct interpersonal communication.

Abstract

This article examines the application of the Cultural Approach to Organizations in addressing stunting cases in Indonesia, focusing on five regions with high prevalence: East Nusa Tenggara, West Sulawesi, Papua, West Papua, and Central Kalimantan. Using a qualitative method that integrates literature review, field observations, and interviews reported in prior studies, the research identifies how local cultural beliefs, traditional rituals, and social norms significantly shape child nutrition and health practices. The findings reveal that early introduction of solid foods, gender-based decision-making, and symbolic food rituals often conflict with recommended health guidelines, contributing to persistent stunting. The study highlights the need for culturally grounded interventions, recommending strategies such as community-based education, involvement of religious and community leaders, culturally adapted nutrition programs, improved healthcare logistics, and multisectoral collaboration. By aligning health initiatives with local cultural systems—including shared meanings, symbols, stories, and rituals—interventions are more likely to be accepted and sustained by local communities. This article contributes both theoretically to the development of the Cultural Approach in public health contexts and practically to policy design for culturally appropriate stunting prevention programs. The study recommends a strategic, inclusive framework to reduce stunting rates by integrating cultural understanding into public health communication and implementation.
