Abstract

This research aims to describe how the Government's effort in building people's economy through culinary tourism business that has been mushrooming at any corners of the city during the pandemic. The research employed qualitative method with observation, interview and document analysis as instruments for data collection. Observations were made at several culinary tourism spots following an interview session with some participants from tourism office staffs, culinary business managers and visitors. Related documents were obtained from both the Government Service and culinary business actors. The results of this research indicate that the Government's policy plays an important role in improving the community's economy as it absorbs lot of people to work in and encourages the others to supply the ‎necessary ingredients in which at the same time the business is potential to increase regional income

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran jarak jauh pada masa pandemi COVID-19 pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Sinabang Kabupaten Simeuluedan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran siswa pada masa pandemi COVID-19 pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. di MA Muhammadiyah Sinabang Kabupaten Simeulue dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pandemi covid 19 terhadap efektivitas belajar siswa di MA Muhammadiyah Sinabang Kabupaten Simeulue. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan populasi sebanyak 182 orang melalui teknik pengumpulan data kuesioner dan analisis data korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran agama Islam di MA Muhammadiyah pada masa pandemi covid-19 dilaksanakan dengan proses pembelajaran online menggunakan media android melalui berbagai metode, media dan sesuai dengan kurikulum yang telah ditetapkan. Efektivitas pembelajaran siswa pada masa pandemi COVID-19 pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di MA Muhammadiyah Sinabang Kabupaten Simeulue cukup efektif dengan mempertimbangkan kualitas, waktu pembelajaran, pemberian reward dan penyesuaian materi dengan metode dan media pembelajaran. Pandemi Covid-19 mempengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran siswa di MA Muhammadiyah Sinabang Kabupaten Simeulue. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji t yang diperoleh dimana thitung > ttabel atau 0,78 > 0,36 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap semangat kerja dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai r tabel (0,78 > 0,36).

Abstract

Artikel pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menyajikan analisis komprehensif mengenai Program Interaktif Anak Tumbuh Aktif dan Religius (PINTAR) sebagai inovasi pendidikan yang dirancang untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan anak secara menyeluruh, baik fisik, sosial, kognitif, maupun spiritual. Program ini menerapkan pendekatan interaktif yang melibatkan permainan edukatif, kegiatan kolaboratif, serta pembiasaan ibadah sederhana sesuai tahap perkembangan anak. Dengan mengintegrasikan aktivitas fisik dan nilai religius, anak-anak tidak hanya menjadi lebih aktif dan mandiri, tetapi juga memiliki dasar spiritual yang kuat sejak dini. Implementasi program menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi belajar, kedisiplinan, dan pemahaman nilai-nilai keagamaan. Oleh karena itu, PINTAR berpotensi menjadi model pembelajaran efektif dalam membentuk generasi yang sehat, cerdas, berkarakter, dan religius.

Abstract

Emotion regulation in early childhood is a foundational competency influencing social, psychological, and academic outcomes. Parenting style, particularly authoritarian parenting characterized by high control and low emotional responsiveness, has been consistently associated with maladaptive emotional development. This study examines how authoritarian parenting shapes children’s emotion regulation across cultural contexts. This study employed a qualitative library research design, synthesizing 72 peer-reviewed sources published between 2000 and 2024. Using thematic analysis, the review was guided by Erikson’s psychosocial development theory, Gross’s process model of emotion regulation, and Baumrind’s parenting typology to identify key developmental mechanisms. Findings indicate that authoritarian parenting negatively affects children’s emotional development by limiting emotional awareness, expression, and regulatory flexibility. Children exposed to rigid and emotionally dismissive environments tend to rely on maladaptive strategies such as emotional suppression and avoidance, while demonstrating reduced use of cognitive reappraisal. These patterns are associated with increased risks of anxiety, aggression, and emotional dysregulation. Neurodevelopmental evidence further suggests heightened stress reactivity under such parenting conditions. These effects are particularly pronounced in collectivist cultures where strict parenting norms are socially reinforced. Authoritarian parenting disrupts key developmental processes related to autonomy, emotional agency, and adaptive regulation strategies. Although culturally normative in some contexts, its long-term implications remain detrimental to emotional competence. The study underscores the importance of promoting emotionally responsive and autonomy-supportive parenting practices, alongside culturally sensitive interventions to enhance early childhood emotional development.
