Abstract

Abstract. With the advancement of information technology, visual communication design has become an essential element in promotional media such as leaflets. This study aims to determine the influence of visual communication design in leaflets on consumer interest at PT LKM Akhlakul Karimah. An effective visual communication design is expected to increase consumer interest in the products and services offered. This research uses the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory as the theoretical foundation. The approach used is quantitative with a simple linear regression method. The study sample consisted of 99 respondents who are customers of PT LKM Akhlakul Karimah. The results show that the visual communication design of the leaflets has a positive and significant effect on consumer interest. Respondents provided good feedback on the visual communication design variable, evidenced by the coefficient of determination value which explains that visual communication design has a significant influence on consumer interest. These findings provide practical implications for PT LKM Akhlakul Karimah in designing more effective promotional strategies through optimizing visual leaflet design. Abstrak. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi, desain komunikasi visual menjadi elemen penting dalam media promosi seperti leaflet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh desain komunikasi visual leaflet terhadap minat konsumen pada PT LKM Akhlakul Karimah. Desain komunikasi visual yang efektif diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat konsumen terhadap produk dan layanan yang ditawarkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) sebagai landasan teoretis. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode regresi linier sederhana. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 99 responden yang merupakan nasabah PT LKM Akhlakul Karimah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain komunikasi visual leaflet berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat konsumen. Responden memberikan respon yang baik terhadap variabel desain komunikasi visual leaflet, yang dibuktikan dengan nilai koefisien determinasi yang menjelaskan bahwa desain komunikasi visual memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap minat konsumen. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi PT LKM Akhlakul Karimah dalam merancang strategi promosi yang lebih efektif melalui optimalisasi desain visual leaflet.

Abstract

Pikiran Rakyat Media Networks (PRMN) engaged in the digital media business, develops its business by creating a media ecosystem through multiple portals. The PRMN sub-domain news portal is managed and filled with content by content creators as PRMN partners. The phenomenon of content creators on news portals creates opportunities for strategies in tourism recovery. This research was conducted with the aim of looking at strategies for utilizing content creators as a form of journalism to advocate for tourism recovery in Indonesia. This study aims to get an overview of tourism journalism patterns carried out by content creators which can be a strategy for recovery and increasing the attractiveness of tourist destinations. This study uses a constructivist approach by finding qualitative data to be analyzed and categorized so that it becomes a pattern of tourism communication through journalism in digital media. The results of the study show that the strategy to restore the tourism sector after the Covid-19 pandemic requires the role of mass media and social media. The collaboration business strategy carried out by PRMN with the google algorithm supports the creation of positive tourism content in marketing tourist destinations according to tourist targets.

Abstract

The proliferation of false information and hoaxes is significantly fueled by the rapid spread of unverified content on social media. This phenomenon poses a challenge to public trust and information integrity, underscoring the need for effective countermeasures. Journalism, particularly at the regional level, plays a crucial role in combating misinformation. This study investigates the role of local media, specifically Radar Tasikmalaya, a prominent news outlet in West Java, in addressing and countering hoaxes originating within its geographical area. Utilizing a qualitative case study approach, this research explores how regional journalism functions as a countermeasure to misinformation. Data collection involved in-depth interviews with Radar Tasikmalaya editors, observations of journalistic practices, and a documentation study of published news. Interviews provided insights into the editorial strategies and responsibilities assigned to journalists, while observations highlighted the reporting processes. The documentation study complemented these findings by analyzing how published content addresses and clarifies circulating hoaxes. The study finds that Radar Tasikmalaya plays a proactive role in maintaining information accuracy by assigning journalists the responsibility of fact-checking and clarifying misinformation. When erroneous information is identified, journalists are expected to promptly verify and correct it through their reports. This approach not only enhances public trust in the media but also underscores the journalists' social responsibility to provide accurate and reliable information to the community. Fenomena ini menjadi tantangan bagi kepercayaan publik dan integritas informasi, yang menekankan perlunya langkah-langkah penanggulangan yang efektif. Jurnalisme, terutama di tingkat regional, memainkan peran penting dalam melawan misinformasi. Penelitian ini menyelidiki peran media lokal, khususnya Radar Tasikmalaya, sebuah media berita terkemuka di Jawa Barat, dalam menangani dan melawan hoaks yang berasal dari wilayah geografisnya. Dengan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana jurnalisme regional berfungsi sebagai langkah penanggulangan terhadap misinformasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan editor Radar Tasikmalaya, observasi praktik jurnalistik, dan studi dokumentasi berita yang telah diterbitkan. Wawancara memberikan wawasan mengenai strategi editorial dan tanggung jawab yang diberikan kepada jurnalis, sementara observasi menyoroti proses pelaporan berita. Studi dokumentasi melengkapi temuan ini dengan menganalisis bagaimana konten yang diterbitkan menangani dan mengklarifikasi hoaks yang beredar. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Radar Tasikmalaya berperan proaktif dalam menjaga akurasi informasi dengan menugaskan jurnalis untuk melakukan pengecekan fakta dan mengklarifikasi misinformasi. Ketika informasi yang salah teridentifikasi, jurnalis diharapkan untuk segera memverifikasi dan mengoreksi melalui laporan mereka. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kepercayaan publik terhadap media, tetapi juga menekankan tanggung jawab sosial jurnalis dalam menyediakan informasi yang akurat dan dapat dipercaya bagi masyarakat. Temuan ini menggambarkan peran penting media lokal dalam menjaga standar jurnalistik dan melawan penyebaran informasi palsu.Kata Kunci: Jurnalistik, media lokal, Radar, Tasikmalaya, anti hoax
