Abstract

Introduction: This study aimed to determine the growth of pakcoy at the time of fertigation and the composition of the verticulture system planting media with different spacing of planting holes and their interactions on dry land. Methods: The method used is an experiment using a Split Plot Design using 3 plots. The main plot is the spacing of the planting holes consisting of 15 cm, 20 cm, and 25 cm. The subplot is the composition of the growing media consisting of soil:sand, soil:biochar; sand:biochar; and soil:sand:biochar. The sub-sub plot is fertigation time which consists of 60 seconds, 90 seconds, and 120 seconds. A total of 36 treatments were repeated 2 times for a total of 72 treatments. Results: Results: The results of this study showed that the interaction of fertigation time significantly affected the growth of plant height, number of leaves and fresh weight of crown with the best combination treatment of 120 seconds of fertigation time with soil:biochar growing media. Fertigation time has a significant effect on all observation parameters, with the best treatment being fertigation for 120 seconds. The composition of the growing media had a significant effect on the observations of plant height, the number of leaves, and the fresh weight of the crown with the best results found in soil: biochar growing media (1:1). Conclusion: The best combination result is a fermentation time of 120 seconds and the composition of soil and biochar (W3M2).

Abstract

Minyak Feun Kase merupakan bahan baku pembuatan biodiesel yang efektif karena tidak bersaing dengan sektor pangan. Walaupun tanaman Feun Kase banyak tersebar di Desa Oeolo, masyarakat setempat tidak mengetahui potensi dari tanaman ini. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan biodiesel ini penting dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat muda mengenai potensi Feun Kase sebagai biodiesel, dan meningkatkan minat terhadap disiplin ilmu berbasis teknologi. Dengan demikian, kerja keras Pemerintah Indonesia dan para peneliti dapat berjalan lancar karena didukung oleh masyarakat yang memiliki pengetahuan dan ketrampilan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam 6 urutan dari persiapan material sampai survei akhir dengan metode yang bervariasi seperti ceramah, kuesioner, dan pendampingan. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah anak – anak muda Desa Oeolo dengan rentang umur 20 – 30 tahun. Melalui survei menggunakan kuesioner, terlihat bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dari nilai 25 (sebelum pelatihan) menjadi 83 (sesudah pelatihan). Dari hasil survei, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini berdampak pada peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 233%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of Biochar dose and chicken manure on the growth and yield of spinach plants. This research was carried out in October 2019 - November 2019 in the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Timor. By using the Complete Design (CRD) 2 factors 3x3 which was repeated 5 times. The first factor is rice husk biochar (B) consisting of 3 (three) levels, namely: (B0) Without biochar (B1) 2.25 t / ha, (B2). 5 t / ha. The second factor is chicken manure (J) consisting of 3 (three) levels, namely: (J0) Without chicken manure, (J1). Chicken manure 2.25 t / ha, (J2) Chicken manure 5 t / ha. on the dose of chicken manure J1 (2.25 t / Ha) has a significant effect on increasing yield of spinach on the parameters of fresh plant weight and plant wet weight. The dose of biochar and dose of chicken manure are very significant for the growth of spinach, on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves and stem diameter.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of three mung bean varieties to the correct dose of cow dung and to obtain the correct dose of cow dung for the growth and yield of three mung bean varieties. The design used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (RBD), 3 × 3 × 3. The first factor is the type of green bean variety, which consists of three levels, namely fore belu variety, wilzec variety, and mungo variety hepper. The second factor is the cow dung dose, which consists of 3 levels, namely 0 t / ha, 15 t / ha, 30 t / ha. The results showed that there is an interaction between the treatment of mung bean varieties and the treatment of the dosage of cow dung the initial observation of the soil temperature. The front belu mung bean had the highest plant growth and yield in terms of the highest plant height, the highest number of leaves, the highest dryness of the plants, the highest shell length, the highest weight of 100 seeds, the highest seed weight per plot and the highest harvest index. The dose of cow dung of 30 t / ha could change the growing environment and achieve the highest growth and yield effects. Mung bean varieties offer mixed growth and yield performance.
