Clay mineral is widely used in ceramic materials, building materials, paper coating materials, catalyst support, and an alternative material for zeolite. This paper reports the study on the relationship between the position of soil (low and highland) and its mineral composition in Bukit Tinggi, West Sumatera, Indonesia. It was found that the lowland area indicates the existence of dominant kaolinite and mikasaite. Meanwhile the highland is characterized with dominant illite and kaolinite.Illite is the main component for ceramic. This due to the alkaline condition and high content of Al and K as well as high hydrothermal activity at high land presumably by volcanic activity.Keywords: clay mineral, XRD, XRF, kaolinite, illite-smectite

This paper is based on the lack of students' learning interest in physics courses, which is indicated by the teaching materials used by educators during the learning process. The research in this paper aims to develop problem-based learning of e-glasses modules on momentum and impulse material as well as to determine the validity and practicality of e-modules for students of class X at SMA Negeri 1 Tapung. The type of research is the research and development (R&D) method. The method used is an R&D panel with the ADDIE model. To achieve the goal, several stages of development are analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating. In addition, the research result is an electronic module on momentum and impulse material. The validation results of material and media experts on the electronic module achieve a proportion of 81.86%, which is in the very valid category. The practicality of a product seen from the practicality test that was obtained from the results of the practicality sheet for the electronic module is 95.70% and categorized in the very practical category.

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan hasil penelitian pada sekolah mitra. Mitra dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah SMA PGRI 4 Padang. Latar belakang dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah masih terbatasnya keterserdiaan modul praktikum untuk menunjang kegiatan praktikum. Selain itu belum terpenuhinya semua peralatan laboratorium guna menunjang pembelajaran teori. Sasaran utama kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah peserta didik kelas XII pada mata pelajaran fisika dasar. Pelatihan yang dimaksud adalah penerapan modul elekronika dasar pada kegiatan praktikum. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 25 peserta didik kelas XII. Pelaksanaan kegiatan peserta didik membimbing kegiatan praktikum mengikuti tahapan modul secara berkelompok dan dilanjutkan dengan diskusi dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi perserta didik guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan kompetensi peserta didik guna mendukung pembelajaran teori.

Sistem pengendali listrik pada umumnya menggunakan sistem manual yaitu dengan menekan saklar lampu atau stop kontak secara langsung. Selain itu, banyak orang yang meninggalkan suatu ruangan tanpa mematikan peralatan listrik terlebih dahulu. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan terjadinya korsleting dan kebakaran serta tidak hemat energi listrik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu membuat rancang bangun pengendali lampu listrik berbasis arduino uno menggunakan android dengan prototype sebagai rancangannya. Dalam penggunaannya cukup menekan tombol yang ada di smartphone android yang terhubung dengan bluetooth untuk menghidupkan dan mematikan lampu. Beberapa komponen utama pada alat ini yaitu adaptor, arduino uno, modul bluetooth HC-05, dan modul relay 4 channel. Pengujian konektivitas sinyal bluetooth dilakukan dengan 3 kondisi, yaitu dengan menggunakan penghalang tembok, penghalang triplek, dan tanpa penghalang. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, lampu dapat dikendalikan pada jarak 7 meter dengan penghalang tembok, jarak 9 meter dengan penghalang triplek, dan 30 meter tanpa penghalang.

In the learning process students can be said not to be active. The learning process still uses printed teaching materials such as textbooks and LKS. The learning model is in the form of lectures and questions and answers. Along with technological developments, the learning process must be able to utilize technology, such as the formation of teaching materials. One of the teaching materials developed is in the form of E-LKPD. The purpose of this study was to develop a valid and practical E-LKPD Physics Based on Problem Based Learning with Character Education for Class XI Students at SMA N 12 Padang. This type of research is development (Research and Development) using the 4D development model. The instruments used were validity and practicality sheets, used to determine the validity and practicality of the teaching materials developed. The percentage level of validity is based on material experts and media experts, the validation average is 89.77% which is categorized as very valid. The practicality percentage of the media is 92% which is categorized as very practical. So that the teaching materials developed are categorized as very valid and very practical to use in the learning process.

In learning physics, students are less enthusiastic and less active when studying physics. This is because the teaching materials used by students are not in accordance with the students' learning styles and the LKPD used by educators during the learning process does not attract students' interest in learning because it only displays pictures and questions. The aim of this research is to Develop an E-LKPD based on Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectualy using live worksheets on heat material in class XI SMA that is valid and practical. This type of research is 4D model development research which has four stages, namely: Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. The subjects in this research were 33 educators and students in class XI of the UNP Laboratory Development High School, Padang City. The instruments used in this research were a validity questionnaire and a practicality questionnaire. Then the data that has been obtained is analyzed to see the validity and practicality of the teaching materials. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the E-LKPD based on Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectualy using live worksheets developed was categorized as very valid with an overall average of 86.5%. Apart from that, teaching materials are categorized as very partial with an overall average of 94.16%

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis website menggunakan google sites yang valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian research and development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation ). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar validitas dan pratikalitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh bahwa media pembelajaran fisika berbasis website menggunakan google sites pada mata pelajaran fisika kelas XI terkategori sangat valid persentase 84,09%. Selanjutnya media yang dikembangkan terkategori sangat praktis dengan persentase 87,84% dilihat pada aspek kemudahan penggunaan, waktu yang diperlukan, mudah diinterpresentasikan dan memiliki ekivalensi yang sama.

This study is motivated by the fact that students' physics learning outcomes have not met the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). The aim of this research is to determine the effect of applying the Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) learning model on students' physics learning outcomes. This study uses a quasi-experimental design. The population consists of all Grade VIII students, which includes two classes. Sampling was conducted using saturated sampling. Data analysis techniques were applied to both cognitive and affective domains to test hypotheses with homogeneous and variance conditions. The t-test results show that there is an effect on students' physics learning outcomes using the Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) learning model.

Berkembangnya sebuah teknologi, pendidik dituntut untuk kreatif dalam menggunakan teknologi baik dari segi perangkat pembelajaran serta proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Pendidikan yang telah disesuaikan dengan kemajuan teknologi belum mencapai hasil yang diharapkan. Belum pernah memanfaatan bahan ajar seperti e-modul yang dapat diakses setiap saat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatasi masalah keterbatasan buku paket dan mengembangkan e-modul fisika berbasis Creative Problem Solving (CPS) yang dapat digunakan oleh siswa kelas XI F1 di SMAN 1 Siberut Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan Research and Develop (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4-D, yaitu define, design, develop dan disseminate. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas XI F1 SMAN 1 Siberut Utara sebanyak 28 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa angket validitas dan praktikalitas. Aspek yang dinilai untuk validasi materi yaitu aspek kelayakan isi, kontekstual, penyajian dan bahasa. Kemudian validasi media yaitu desain cover dan desain isi e-modul. Untuk aspek penilaian praktikalitas adalah ketertarikan, materi dan bahasa. Hasil analisis diperoleh e-modul fisika berbasis Creative Problem Solving yang dikembangkan dikategorikan sangat valid dengan skor 88,64 %. Validitas e-modul divalidasi oleh satu dosen ahli media dan dua ahli materi. E-modul fisika juga dikategorikan sangat praktis dengan skor 93,20%. Kepraktisan ini dinilai oleh 28 peserta didik dan 1 pendidik bidang studi fisika dengan aspek penilaian yaitu ketertarikan, materi dan bahasa.

Development of learning media Using smart apps creator based on discovery learning on sound wave material in SMA class XI MIPA. This research aims to develop smart application-based learning media using a discovery learning approach in sound wave material for class XI MIPA students in high school. The research method used is research and development (R&D), with procedures based on the ASSURE model and Tessmer's formative evaluation stage. The research subjects included one teacher and 45 students. The research instrument used was a questionnaire to measure the validity and practicality of learning media. The research results show that the learning media developed has a validity level of 85.20% and a practicality level of 88.26%. Thus, it can be concluded that this learning media is valid and practical for high school students in class XI MIPA to study sound waves. The implication of this research is that the developments that have been carried out can provide guidance for learning media developers, encourage the adoption of technology in learning, and motivate teachers to adopt a more interactive and discovery-based learning approach.
