Independent variable Self Efficacy for working mothers in breastfeeding, dependent variable for infant growth. The growth instrument uses a standard table of body weight/body length from the Ministry of Health and a Self Efficacy questionnaire for mothers to provide breastfeeding. Data analysis using chi square.ResultsThe results of the Chi-Square test analysis at the significance level of ? = 0.05 found that ? <? or 0.048 <0.05, there is a relationship between self-efficacy of mothers working in breastfeeding and growth in infants. Conclusion: The head of the agency/company must provide nursing mothers with exclusive breastfeeding by providing a lactation corner so that the mother can milk the milk and store it in the freezer in the refrigerator and take it home to give to the baby while the mother is working so that the baby continues to get milk without formula milk

Abstract

The importance of grandmother's competence in breastfeeding also greatly influences the success of mother's breastfeeding to her baby. Yukensi (Paguyuban Kakek Nenek ASI) is an association or association that has members consisting of Grandparents and Grandmothers who are in charge of ASI support groups The study design was cross sectional. Research variables: grandmother's self efficacy, grandchild age, number of children, number of grandchildren and grandchildren age. Active grandmother sample came at POSYANDU elderly Ngelele village, Sumobito sub-district, Jombang regency 2018 number 68 using simple romdom sampling and analyzed by Chi-square test with ? = 0.05 . Data collection from September to October 2018. The results of the study almost half (47%) had sufficient self efficacy, some at the age of 40-65 years. Most (87.5%) self efficacy is enough with the number of children> 2-4 children. Most (78.1%) self efficacy is enough with the number of grandchildren 2-4 children. Most (78.1%) self efficacy is enough with grandchildren> 6 months. All variables have a strong influence on self-efficacy on the variable number of children and grandchildren. Other variables have a weak relationship. Variable number of children and the age of grandchildren who live in the house. Self efficacy is influenced by personal experiences that have been traversed in the form of success and failure. A grandmother who has experience in caring for her child can provide exclusive breastfeeding will increase her self efficacy in providing assistance to her child (mothers who are breastfeeding) so that their children provide exclusive breastfeeding with more than one child and grandchildren more than 6 months will make a grandmother have self good efficacy. Besides self-efficacy experience can be improved through Verbal persuasion that can be done repeatedly. Keywords: grandmother's self-effecacy, exclusive breastfeeding

Abstract

Improving nutritional knowledge can be done with the right media without computer equipment into games that are easy, useful and fun are the most important keys in designing game. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research. The sample in this study were 14 stunting toddlers living in Denanyar Village. The research subjects were children aged 6 – 58 months with a Z score of Weight/Age -3 to 0 SD. Variables observed included changes in nutritional status. Data analysis was carried out using different tests and multivariate analysis with linear regression of dummy variables. After 3 months of intervention, the decrease in nutritional status in the intervention group was lower than the control (p<0.05), there was an increase in the Z score Weight/Length score in the intervention group and a decrease in the Z score Weight/Length in the intervention group. Length in the control group (p<0.05). The mentoring model is more effective than conventional counseling in suppressing the decline in the nutritional status of children aged 6-58 months. It is hoped that the Berakzi group mentoring program can be implemented in a sustainable manner and the target area is expanded so that it can reduce the prevalence of stunting in Jombang Regency.

Abstract

Research objectives: To determine the effect of supplementary feeding through TPG on the nutritional status of wasting children Pre-experimental research design (one-group pre-posttestdesign), Population: all 20 toddlers experiencing wasting in 2023 with total sampling technique. Independent Variable: Supplemental feeding. Dependent variable: change in body weight with an instrument measuring body weight using scales before and after giving additional food for 14 days, and health status (sick/ever been sick) using a questionnaire during the intervention. Data analysis using uji sperman rank. Research results Most (62.5%) aged 3-4 years with increased weight. with ρ=0.000 there is an effect of food provision on changes in body weight based on age group. The majority (77.8%) were men who experienced weight gain. with ρ=0.001 there is an effect of feeding on body weight based on gender. The majority (72.7%) changed weight and experienced illness when given additional food at TPG ρ=0.027, there was an influence of additional feeding on changes in weight based on whether the child had been sick. Providing additional food to children that meets the quality and quantity of food will have a direct impact on changes in body weight. In TPG activities carried out with cadres, health workers and mothers of toddlers for 14 days, there is health education to prepare menus of various types, cooking methods, determining the content and appearance of food so that children increase their appetite for the maintenance and repair of body cells and life processes. Children and mothers, cadres and health workers gather in TPG activities every day to carry out weight checks, health status checks and education for mothers on how to prepare menus for children. There was an increase in weight in children who received additional food in TPG activities. There was an increase in weight in children who received additional food in TPG activities. Good cooperation between mothers, cadres and health workers during the implementation of supplementary feeding through TPG is the key to success in increasing changes in the nutritional status of wasting children.
