Abstract

The purpose of this study was to use the ICP-MS method to examine the particle size of TiO2 in various forms of sunscreen, with a focus on the effectiveness of UV radiation absorption. Research methods are employed to support this research by reviewing many sources as references. ICP-MS was used to measure the size of TiO2 nanoparticles in sunscreens in various forms such as powder, cream, and spray. The particle size of TiO2 in powder form is 41.17nm, in cream form is 42nm, and in spray form is 94.5nm, according to the studies. Sunscreen in the form of a spray has the biggest particle size in terms of particle size. Absorption and scattering can be increased by using larger particles

Abstract

The crime of premeditated murder is a term for premeditated murder by a person or a group of people who basically want to kill or eliminate someone's life. The crime of premeditated murder is regulated in the Criminal Code Article 340. The purpose of this writing is to find out what elements are contained in the crime of premeditated murder, whether there are elements of premeditated murder, the purpose of premeditated murder as well as the law or sanctions given and the responsibility of the crime. premeditated murder under Article 340 of the Criminal Code. The method used is library research method. The crime of premeditated murder is listed in the Criminal Code Article 340 with elements of a criminal act who, intentionally, plans ahead and takes the lives of other people. One of the main elements is the planned element. The element of planning in advance means that there is a distance or time between the intention to kill and the execution of the murder and the aim is to make the killing run smoothly. Sanctions for a crime are death penalty, life imprisonment and 20 years temporary imprisonment. A criminal act of premeditated murder must be held responsible for the actions that have been committed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendekripsikan kemampuan yang dimiliki mahasiswa angkatan 2022B Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia dalam menulis kata tulisan Arab Melayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu sampel mahasiswa angkatan 2022B dengan jumlah 20 orang dan objek penelitian yaitu kemampuan menulis kata Arab Melayu. Analisis data yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah statistik deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan hasil tes tertulis, kemudian diberi penilaian, menentukan presentase hasil pencapaian tes menulis, dan menghitung skor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis kata Arab Melayu angkatan 2022B belum sepenuhnya memahami kaidah penulisan Arab Melayu dengan baik. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dari hasil penilaian yang menunjukkan kemampuan mahasiswa angkatan 2022B berada pada kategori rendah dengan rata-rata 57,00%. Saran yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan merefleksikan diri tentang kelemahan dalam pembelajaran Arab Melayu sehingga pada mata kuliah Arab Melayu yang akan datang pada semester selanjutnya dapat membenahi kesalahan dan melakukan pembetulan.

Abstract

This study aims to report the treatment of retained placenta in a doe by administration of intrauterine antibiotics, accompanied by intramuscular injection of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, and injection of vitamins A, D, and E as supportive treatment. The Saanen doe was brown, approximately two years old with a BCS of 3/5 and kidding for the first time on January 11, 2023. The following day, it was reported that the doe's placenta had not been expelled until 24 hours after kidding. Physically the doe was weak, unable to stand, and reddish-brown discharge was seen came out of the vulva. Based on these conditions the doe was diagnosed as having retained placenta with a fausta prognosis. The doe was treated with a bolus of antibiotics contained 250 mg sulphadiazine and 50 mg trimethoprim which was diluted with 5 mL of 0.9% NaCl for uterine lavage. Systemic treatment consisted of intramuscular injection of ceftiofur at 1.1 mg/kg bw, flunixin meglumine at 1.1 mg/kg bw, as well as a combination of 300,000 IU of vitamin A palmitate, 100,000 IU of vitamin D3, and 50 mg of vitamin E acetate as supportive treatment. The treatment was successful, the doe was able to stand and eat when examined the next day after treatment. The doe returned to estrus 42 days after treatment. It could be concluded that treatment of retained placenta in a doe with intrauterine broad-spectrum antibiotics, beta-lactamase antibiotics and intramuscular anti-inflammatory, with vitamins A, D and E as supportive therapy was effective and the doe returned to estrus 42 days after treatment.

Abstract

This study looks at the English sound system from a phonological standpoint, emphasizing successful teaching strategies and the difficulties non-native speakers have pronouncing words correctly. This study examines the effects of native language interference, identifies particular phonological challenges, and assesses instructional methods for improving pronunciation using qualitative research with fourth-semester English education students. The results show that although explicit phonetic teaching greatly helps pupils, they still struggle to manage spelling-pronunciation inconsistencies and discern vowel lengths. By offering insights into phonological learning processes and suggesting evidence-based teaching strategies, the research advances the field of applied linguistics. Although individual sound distinctions require tailored treatments, the results show that systematic pronunciation education improves student confidence and communicative skills.

Abstract

Perkembangan kognitif merupakan aspek yang perlu dikembangkan sejak dini karena akan memudahkan anak untuk melakukan eksplorasi terhadap dunia atau lingkungan sekitar dengan bantuan pancaindra. Perlu di ingat bahwa perkembangan kognitif penting untuk dikembangkan secara efektif dan efisien salah satunya dapat menggunakan media Powerpoint interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan kegunaan, macam-macam dan fungsi pakaian kepada anak usia dini. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan alur kegiatan yaitu, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Labschool UPI Serang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran melalui Powerpoint interaktif dapat menstimulasi kemampuan kognitif anak dengan adanya slide interaktif yang terdapat materi pembelajaran seputar fungsi, jenis dan macam-macam pakaian. Dalam media ini, terdapat kuis interaktif yang bertujuan untuk merefleksikan kemampuan mengingat apa yang anak sudah pelajari. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Powerpoint interaktif dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk menstimulasi aspek kognitif anak usia dini di TK Labschool UPI Kampus Serang.
