Abstract

VOIP merupakan teknologi yang perlu dikenalkan ditengah masyarakat khususnya organisasi bahkan perusahaan yang mempunyai tingkat kebutuhan komunikasi data suara yang cukup tinggi dilingkungan internal. Optimalisasi ini perlu dilakukan karena umumnya infrastrukturnya sudah tersedia dan berjalan dengan baik serta hampir merata dimiliki pada beberapa organisasi tertentu apatahlagi perusahaan, sehingga VOIP dapat diterapkan untuk tujuan komunikasi data suara diatas jaringan yang berbasis IP. Kegiatan ini adalah kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang merupakan kerjasama antara Politeknik Caltex Riau dengan Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (MGMP TIK) Se-Pekanbaru. Kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan berupa Workshop/ pelatihan Teknologi VOIP dalam rangka pengenalan dan pendalaman bagi guru-guru TIK Se-Pekanbaru untuk mengajar materi jaringan multimedia khususnya teknologi VOIP. Untuk tujuan ini telah dilakukan pelatihan untuk memperkaya materi ajar pada sekolah sekolah bidang Teknik Komputer Jaringan yang ada pada lingkup MGMP TIK Pekanbaru. Pada akhir pelatihan, dilakukan evaluasi yg sebelumnya hanya sekitar 93.3% mengetahui voip setelah dikenalkan kepada peserta dan mencoba mengimplementasikan hasilnya diperoleh sekitar 100% mudah mengimplementasikannya serta dapat diterapkan untuk menunjang praktikum bagi jaringan multimedia.

Abstract

OBS is open-source software that needs to be introduced to the community, particularly to organizations and companies with a high demand for live streaming communication. This needs to be introduced and optimized because the infrastructure is generally already available and running well and is almost evenly distributed among certain organizations, both companies and high schools. OBS can be applied for streaming communication purposes on Internet-based networks. This activity is a PkM, which is a collaboration between Polytechnic Caltex Riau and the Information and Communication Technology Subject Teacher Working Group (MGMP TIK) in Pekanbaru and Kampar, Riau. Live Streaming Workshop/training using OBS to introduce and deepen the material for ICT teachers to teach multimedia network material, streaming technology. For this purpose, training and evaluation were conducted before and after the workshop on teachers' knowledge of live streaming. Prior to the workshop, approximately 79% understood the material, After being introduced to the participants and trying out the practice, results showed that approximately 100% found it easy to understand and could be applied to support multimedia network practical work.

Abstract

Traffic congestion caused by temporary road repairs often forces bidirectional traffic to alternate through a single lane, leading to increased delays and imbalanced traffic flow. This study investigates the impact of reward scheme design on the performance of a Deep Q-Network (DQN)-based adaptive traffic signal control system in such constrained environments. Using the Simulation of Urban Mobility (SUMO), a traffic scenario involving 1,656 vehicles over 1,800 seconds was modeled to evaluate six reward scheme configurations combining Traffic Flow (TF), Waiting Time (WT), and Average Speed (AS): TF-TF, TF-WT, WT-TF, WT-WT, AS-TF, and AS-WT. The DQN agent, implemented with a two-layer neural network and trained for 50 epochs, dynamically adjusted signal timing to balance traffic from opposing directions. Experimental results indicate that the AS-WT configuration achieved the most balanced performance, producing the best fairness index (1.04) while maintaining stable traffic flow. In contrast, schemes with misaligned or redundant metrics showed significantly poorer performance. These findings highlight the importance of reward design in reinforcement learning-based traffic signal control and suggest that carefully selected reward schemes can improve fairness and efficiency in temporary road repair zones.
