Abstract

Juvenile delinquency problems that occur today due to various factors, one of which is the low level of education and promiscuity among teenagers. One of the forms of juvenile delinquency happens is free sex. Unhealty sexual behavior among adolescents is particulary unmarried adilescents tend to increase. This condision makes researchers interested in studying more in related communication that occurs between teen couple in building relationships that lead to premarital sex. This study aims to determine interpersonal communication between adolescents who have premarital sex and to know the process of relationship development stages built by teenage couples who have premarital sex. Researchers use Symbolic Interactionist Theory from George Herbert Mead. This research is a qualitative research with constructivism paradigm. .The results showed that the interpersonal relationship that exists between the teenage couple is emotional. For adolescent couples to maintain a relationship required proof by their partner in the form of speech (verbal language). Loyalty to the couple becomes one of the evidence. Proof is their thought process of what action they will perform as a form of their seriousness towards the couple through intimate relationships. When one partner wants something from their partner, then the symbols are given by one partner and responded by another partner. This is the cause of premarital sex in adolescents. Basically the pattern of communication or interaction patterns that they do indeed are so. That is, more to the process of negotiation and transactional either between two individuals involved in the communication process and more broadly how social construction affects the communication process itself.Key Words: Interpersonal Communication, Symbolic Interactionism Theory, Self-Disclosure, Premarital Sex

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung untuk meningkatkan partisipasi pemilihan pemula menuju tahun politik 2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan. upaya yang dilakukan Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung diantaranya yaitu sosialisasi di sekolah-sekolah sma sederajat dan mengadakan sosialisasi di universitas, karena lokasi yang paling banyak pemilih pemula adalah dilingkungan pendidikan. mengadakan festival musik yang diselenggarakan dihalaman kantor komisi pemilihan umum (kpu) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung serta di tutup dengan konser musik di stadion kanjuruhan sekalian pembagaian hadiah pemenang lomba festival music. mengadakan lari sehat dengan memberikan banyak hadiah, mengadakan lomba foto selfie dilingkungan tps serta open rekrutmen relawan demokrasi dengan mengambil sebagian mahasiswa sebagai representasi pemilih pemula. dan tentunya dalam seluruh kegiatan yang diselenggarakan kpu diselipkan waktu untuk sosialisasi pemilu dan pendidikan politik dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih pemula pada pemilihan umum 2019.

Abstract

Lexical variation demonstrates word variations utilized in university students’ writing. The focus of this study was to investigate the lexical variation in students’ academic writing and factors contributing to the variations in their’ writing. The data sources for this descriptive study were the introduction portions of the thesis proposals submitted by the students. To identify lexical variance in students' writing, thirty introduction portions from their thesis proposals were gathered and examined. The results showed that university students used fewer different terms in their writing and that nouns predominated in their compositions. Furthermore, the morphological knowledge gaps and vocabulary knowledge of the students were the elements impacting the lexical variations in their academic writing. This study came to the conclusion that pupils were still unable to use a variety of terms in their writing based on its findings. Therefore, it was anticipated that the students would increase their vocabulary in order to write more effectively and to generate work that was richer and better.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini berjudul Keberimbangan Berita Kampanye Pilgub di TVRI Bangka Belitung (Studi Pada Program Acara Bangka Belitung Hari Ini). Penelitian menggunakan teori objektivitas Westerståhl. Tujuannya mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis bagaimana keberimbangan pemberitaan kampanye Pilgub Bangka Belitung di TVRI Bangka Belitung dengan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis Theo van Leeuwen dan menilai sejauh mana objektivitas pemberitaan kampanye. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui naskah berita, dan wawancara dengan Ketua Tim Perencana dan dokumentasi Pengendali Berita TVRI, Ketua Tim Pelaksana Buletin Berita, serta wartawan TVRI Bangka Belitung yang terlibat dalam produksi berita. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis penerapan prinsip keberimbangan dalam pemberitaan kampanye Pilgub Bangka Belitung 2024 di TVRI Bangka Belitung belum sepenuhnya berimbang. Dari 20 pemberitaan masing-masing calon, hanya 7 pemberitaan calon yang dihadirkan dalam porsi yang berimbang dalam satu liputan pemberitaan dan 6 pemberitaan paslon sebagai objek pasif. Kedua paslon tidak digambarkan sebagai individu namun impersonalisasinya sebagai calon Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur.Abstract. This study is entitled “Balance of Gubernatorial Election Campaign News on TVRI Bangka Belitung (A Study on the Today's Bangka Belitung Program). “The study employs Westerståhl's objectivity theory. Its aim is to describe and analyze the balance of TVRI Bangka Belitung’s coverage of the Bangka Belitung Gubernatorial Election campaign using Theo van Leeuwen's critical discourse analysis approach, and to assess the extent of objectivity in the campaign reporting. Data were collected through documentation of news scripts and interviews with the Head of the TVRI News Planning, Control, and Documentation Team, the Head of the News Bulletin Implementation Team, and TVRI Bangka Belitung journalists involved in news production. The findings indicate that the application of the balance principle in TVRI Bangka Belitung’s coverage of the 2024 Bangka Belitung Gubernatorial Election campaign is not fully balanced. Of the 20 reports on each candidate pair, only seven were presented in a balanced manner within a single news segment, while six portrayed the candidate pairs as passive objects. The two candidate pairs were not depicted as individual actors but rather as impersonalized candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor.
