Abstract

The process of public participation involves the general public taking part in decision-making. Policy, strategy, communication, media for social issues, and social treatment all benefit from participation. It is known that a local initiator and members of the community worked together to create the Genilangit Tourism Park in the Poncol District of the Magetan Regency. With this in mind, every activity and program that runs in various capacities must be included in the construction of a public tourism village. The potential for development can be battled for and reaped jointly with the help of the community. In this study, it is determined how public involvement will affect the creation of a tourist village in 2021 in Genilangit Village, Poncol District, Magetan Regency. Because this tourist destination is growing quickly and is in high demand from visitors outside the city, it was chosen as a research subject. An explanatory quantitative methodology was used in this investigation. 100 respondents were given questionnaires to complete in order to gather the research's findings. According to the study's findings, there was a STRONG link between the two variables, with a result of 0.504 indicating that the association's strength was between 0.5 and 0.75. In this instance, it is possible to deduce that Ho is refused whereas Ha is approved, indicating a connection between community involvement and the creation of a tourist town in Genilangit Village., Poncol District, Magetan Regency, 2021.

Abstract

Tourism is part of economic development aimed at expanding employment opportunities and equalizing people's welfare. Currently, the tourism potential in Ponorogo has not been optimally developed, one of which is Ngebel Lake. Currently, the Ngbel village community, which used to be Ngbel Lake, is full of visitors. . The research aims to determine the relationship between rural tourism and community welfare in Ngebel Village, Ngebel District, Ponorogo Regency, in 2021. The type of research used in this research is quantitative with an explanatory type. The results of the study were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 70 respondents. The population in this study were the people of the Ngbel village and the managers of the Ngbel Lake. The sampling technique uses random sampling where all individuals in the independent population or groups are given the same opportunity to choose sample members. The reason for choosing a tourist object for research was because the ngebel tourist attraction became empty of visitors due to rising ticket prices and the access road to the lake being difficult and the dominant Ngbel village community working as traders around the lake being affected. From the results of the study it was found that the relationship between the two variables was STRONG with a result of 0.690 which stated the degree of strength of the relationship between the two variables was at 0.50-0.75. In this case, it can be interpreted that there is a tourism village relationship to the welfare of the people in Ngebel Village, Ngebel District, Ponorogo Regency, in 2021.

Abstract

This research explores student perceptions of the legitimacy of the People’s Representative Council (DPR) in Indonesia following national demonstration actions. It investigates how political demonstrations have influenced public trust and the perceived legitimacy of the DPR, particularly among the younger generation—students—who play an essential role in shaping democratic processes. Using a qualitative research design, the study examines cognitive, affective, and conative aspects of student perceptions through interviews, observations, and documentary analysis. The results indicate that students are generally critical of the DPR, citing concerns over transparency, accountability, and responsiveness. Although students acknowledge the importance of the DPR, they perceive a gap between its ideal role and its actual performance, particularly in legislative processes. Students expressed disappointment and disillusionment with the DPR, although some still hold hope for reform. The findings highlight a growing trend of youth-driven political participation, with students actively engaging in political discourse and demonstrations. The study suggests that improving communication, transparency, and responsiveness to public aspirations can enhance the legitimacy of the DPR.

Abstract

Perencanaan pembangunan daerah memerlukan partisipasi aktif masyarakat agar kebijakan publik yang dihasilkan mampu mencerminkan kebutuhan dan aspirasi warga. Salah satu mekanisme yang dirancang untuk mewadahi partisipasi tersebut adalah Musyawarah Perencanaan Pembangunan (Musrenbang), yang berfungsi sebagai ruang dialog antara pemerintah dan masyarakat dalam menentukan prioritas pembangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan demokrasi deliberatif pada Musyawarah Perencanaan Pembangunan (Musrenbang) Kabupaten Magetan, khususnya di Kecamatan Kawedanan, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaannya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan unsur pemerintah, perwakilan desa, tokoh masyarakat, dan peserta Musrenbang lainnya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip-prinsip demokrasi deliberatif yang meliputi partisipasi inklusif, kesetaraan, rasionalitas diskusi, transparansi, dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis konsensus telah diterapkan dalam proses Musrenbang. Namun demikian, masih ditemukan beberapa kendala, seperti keterlibatan masyarakat umum yang belum optimal, dominasi perwakilan formal, keterbatasan akses informasi publik, serta proses deliberasi yang cenderung bersifat administratif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Musrenbang Kecamatan Kawedanan telah mencerminkan praktik demokrasi deliberatif secara prosedural, meskipun peningkatan kualitas partisipasi, transparansi, dan diskusi deliberatif masih diperlukan untuk mewujudkan perencanaan pembangunan yang lebih demokratis dan inklusif.

Abstract

Indonesia saat ini sedang menghadapi bonus demografi yang ditandai dengan dominasi penduduk usia produktif, khususnya Generasi Z. Meskipun demikian, tingginya angka pengangguran usia muda dan terbatasnya kesempatan kerja masih menjadi tantangan utama, terutama bagi lulusan baru. Sebagai upaya mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, pemerintah mencanangkan agenda kebijakan penciptaan 19 juta lapangan pekerjaan untuk meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja dan partisipasi ekonomi generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses agenda setting rencana kebijakan 19 juta lapangan pekerjaan bagi Generasi Z fresh graduate di Kota Madiun serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitasnya. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan DPRD Kota Madiun, Dinas Tenaga Kerja, serta Generasi Z fresh graduate sebagai informan penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agenda kebijakan tersebut telah memperoleh perhatian publik melalui media sosial dan saluran informasi resmi. Namun, kedalaman informasi, konsistensi pemberitaan, dan kredibilitas sumber informasi masih belum optimal sehingga menimbulkan keraguan di kalangan Generasi Z terhadap implementasi kebijakan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan agenda setting sangat bergantung pada komunikasi publik yang efektif, sumber informasi yang kredibel, literasi media yang baik, serta realisasi program yang dapat dirasakan secara langsung oleh masyarakat sasaran.

Abstract

Politik uang tetap menjadi tantangan utama bagi implementasi demokrasi lokal, khususnya dalam pemilihan kepala daerah, karena merusak keadilan pemilu dan dapat mewakili kualitas kepemimpinan terpilih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk-bentuk politik uang, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya, dan dampaknya terhadap perilaku pemilih dalam Pemilihan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Magetan 2024. Penelitian ini fokus pada praktik uang politik yang muncul selama tahapan pemilu di Kabupaten Magetan, terutama dalam interaksi antara kandidat, tim kampanye, dan pemilih. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif digunakan, dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data dari aktor dan sumber yang relevan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa politik uang termanifestasi dalam berbagai bentuk, termasuk pembayaran tunai kepada pemilih, distribusi paket makanan pokok, janji bantuan atau proyek pembangunan, dan pembiayaan terselubung kegiatan kampanye. Terjadinya praktik-praktik ini didorong oleh kondisi ekonomi yang lemah, tingkat pendidikan politik yang rendah, budaya politik yang permisif, hubungan patron-klien, dan pengawasan serta penegakan hukum yang tidak memadai. Kondisi-kondisi ini mendorong perilaku pemilih yang pragmatis, mengikis kualitas demokrasi lokal, dan meningkatkan kemungkinan terpilihnya pemimpin yang kurang fokus pada kepentingan publik. Studi ini menyarankan penguatan pendidikan politik, peningkatan pengawasan pemilu, dan penegakan langkah-langkah hukum yang lebih ketat untuk mengurangi politik uang dalam pemilu mendatang.

Abstract

Public services are the main issue because of the lack of efficiency and effectiveness in their implementation, even though it is an important aspect as a bridge between the government and the community. The public can assess the government's performance from the quality of public services, which is the most visible benchmark for government performance. Improving public services focuses on convenience, speed, transparency, and shortening bureaucracy. This study aims to analyze the performance of public services in Takeran District, focusing on performance quality, quantity, timeliness, effectiveness, and independence. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation methods. The results of the study are expected to provide an overview of the performance of public services in the field of population administration in Takeran District

Abstract

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) play a crucial role in contributing to the smooth operation of a company’s, operations, particularly in the accounts receivable collection process, which is directly related to financial management. At PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PERSERO), SOPs serve as work guidelines to ensure that asset lease collection activities are conducted in a orderly focused manner, and in accordance with established procedures. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures in the Collection Unit at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (PERSERO) and identify obstacles encountered during their implementation. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Previous research on standard operating procedures focused on internal control of accounts receivable for asset lease operations, indicating that internal control of accounts receivable for asset lease operations at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (PERSERO) Operational Area 7 Madiun was adequate. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of the collection SOP has not been optimal. This is caused by differences with the actual conditions in the field which are not yet optimal because there are still tenants who have difficulty paying bills or are late in making payments, the high backlog or arrears not all debtors are handled quickly, as well as a lack of awareness and compliance for debtors.
