Abstract

In this modern life, the role of parents is demanded to be able to provide education and understanding of Hindu religious values, so that it is expected to be able to strengthen virtuous character education and improve children's learning achievements indirectly. Therefore this research was conducted to find out to what extent the values ​​of Catur Warna have been implemented by parents in educating their sons and daughters at home so that their children grow up to be superhumans. Catur warna means four choices in life or four divisions in life-based on one's talents (guna) and skills (karma), as well as the quality of work one has as a result of education, talent development that grows from within oneself and is supported by one's mental toughness in facing a job. The four groups that later became known as the Color Caturs were: Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaisyas, and Sudras. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach where this method will provide a complete and complex picture of the data and facts obtained. Informal education in this case is a picture between parents and children in implementing Catuwarna values ​​in the family. The implementation of Catur Warna values ​​in informal education was found in this study, there were two parents' understanding of Caturwarna values ​​and implementation of values. -Caturwarna values ​​mean that parents must understand the context of Caturwarna which is then implemented in providing education to their children in strengthening the virtuous character of children.

Abstract

The task of the teacher is not only teaching but starting from the planning process to the assessment, as stated in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers in CHAPTER I Article 1 Teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating students in early childhood education through formal education, basic education, and secondary education. The theory used as the basis or basis in this research is 1) Motivation Theory, 2) Human Resource Management Theory. Data collection techniques used in this study include: observation techniques, interview techniques and document studies. The results of this study are: The Importance of Professional Development of Hindu Religion Teachers in the Core Clusters of Public Elementary Schools in North Kuta District due to the demands of Law No. 14 of 2005, Improving teacher performance, improving the quality of learning, as well as a professional teacher with the main task of educating, teaching guide and evaluate students. In the learning process the teacher before teaching prays, prepares lesson plans and uses media or teaching aids as transformation material.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the role of women as Sarathi in Hindu religious rituals and their impact on social change in contemporary Hindu society. The focus of this research is to explore the gender dynamics contained in the involvement of women as Sarathi, as well as how this role influences spirituality and its contribution to social change. Through a qualitative approach, this research will conduct an in-depth analysis of the experiences and perceptions of women who carry out the role of Sarathi in the Hindu religious context. The research will also highlight the challenges and opportunities women face in carrying out these ritualistic roles and their impact on structural changes in contemporary Hindu society. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a better understanding of the contribution of women in the Hindu religious context, explore the potential of women as agents of social change, and strengthen dialogue regarding gender equality in the religious realm. In addition, it is hoped that this research can provide a basis for policies and advocacy that support women's empowerment and encourage gender equality in the continuing developing Hindu religious context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dan mengoptimalkan peran Padasewanam dalam meningkatkan pendidikan karakter di Pasraman Swadharma Krama, Tangerang Selatan. Padasewanam, sebagai elemen tradisi Hindu, dipilih sebagai fokus untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter di kalangan generasi muda. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melalui studi kasus di Pasraman Swadharma Krama dengan mengamati pelaksanaan Padasewanam dan menganalisis dampaknya terhadap pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan melibatkan observasi partisipatif, wawancara dengan pihak terkait, dan analisis dokumen terkait program pendidikan karakter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Padasewanam di Pasraman Swadharma Krama Serpong berpotensi untuk memperkuat nilai-nilai budipekerti seperti kepatuhan, disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan rasa solidaritas di kalangan generasi muda. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi terkait peningkatan efektivitas Padasewanam dalam konteks pendidikan karakter, dengan mempertimbangkan aspek-aspek kultural dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan pendidikan karakter di institusi-institusi serupa dan memberikan wawasan lebih lanjut tentang integrasi nilai-nilai Padasewanam dalam memberikan penguatan karakter yang berbudi luhur berbangsa dan bernegara Indonesia

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas implementasi moderasi beragama yang sangat dipengaruhi oleh konteks sosial dan politik di masyarakat. Negara-negara yang memiliki konflik politik atau sosial, ketidakadilan sosial, atau intoleransi antaragama yang tinggi, akan lebih sulit dalam mengimplementasikan moderasi beragama, pemimpin agama pun memiliki peran penting dalam implementasi moderasi beragama, selanjutnya pengaruh media sosial memengaruhi persepsi masyarakat tentang agama dan kultur, terakhir pendidikan di mana perannya pun tak kalah penting dalam mengajarkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama pada generasi muda dan pada penelitian ini adalah kehidupan bermasyarakat di Linggoasri yang dijadikan potret kebersamaan dalam kehidupan beragama antara Islam dengan Hindu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis Iceberg dalam kehidupan beragama di Linggoasri adalah strategi moderasi dengan langkah rethinking, redesigning, reframing, dan reactingyang mengasilkan harmoni kebangsaan menekankan pentingnya saling pengertian, toleransi, dan kerja sama di antara anggota masyarakat yang berbeda-beda serta mempromosikan sikap yang terbuka dan inklusif terhadap perbedaan dan memperkuat kesepahaman dan kerukunan di antara masyarakat yang berbeda-beda. Abstract

The trend of globalization became a social vortex that swept through all aspects of life, This reality must have been of concern to the younger generation of Hindus that preserved the Hindu religious ritual. These social symptoms are certainly an integral part of trying to get the impression that the Hindu youth has forgotten and that only citizens are involved in any religious activity. This study aims to explain the impact globalization has on the interest of young people in Hindu religious rituals. This is a descriptive qualitative research. Informants in this study, as many as 10 of the young generation in tangerang selatan. Metode data collection by gathering various reference both primary and secondary sources of relevance to the younger generation hindu and religious rites.The result of indicate that the tends to lead to the context of the activity Which suggests that the younger generation of Hindus in the southern city of Tangerang tend to do more of a good job, compared to the understanding related to the Hindu religious ritual.It indicates that there is still a need for coaching the further religious activities of the Hindu ritual, especially in the complete implementation of understanding of the meaning of the Hindu religious ritual.

Abstract

Environmental awareness poses a significant challenge for many communities in Indonesia, including the Hindu community in Krisik Village, Gandusari District, Blitar Regency. The concept of Tri Hita Karana, which emphasizes harmony between humans, nature, and God, offers a holistic approach to environmental education. This study aims to explore the implementation of Tri Hita Karana in environmental education and how community collaboration can strengthen this harmony. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with community leaders, teachers, and community members, and through participatory observation and document analysis. The findings reveal that the application of Tri Hita Karana in environmental education in Krisik Village has significantly increased community awareness and involvement in environmental conservation. Practices such as waste management, reforestation, and religious ceremonies that honor nature have become integral parts of daily life. Collaboration between schools, village government, and the local community has proven effective in supporting sustainable environmental initiatives. Furthermore, the values of Tri Hita Karana have helped the community develop a more sustainable approach to the environment, strengthening social and spiritual bonds within the community. This study concludes that a local wisdom-based approach like Tri Hita Karana can serve as an effective model in environmental education, contributing significantly to the development of sustainable and culturally rooted environmental education policies.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan memainkan peran penting dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya di tingkat sekolah. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perbandingan gaya kepemimpinan transaksional dan transformasional di kalangan kepala sekolah di Yogyakarta. Menggunakan pendekatan survei kuantitatif dengan skala Likert, data dikumpulkan dari 32 guru di berbagai sekolah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional lebih dominan dan dihargai oleh guru, terutama dalam memotivasi dan menginspirasi mereka untuk bekerja melebihi ekspektasi. Sementara itu, kepemimpinan transaksional masih relevan dalam memastikan kepatuhan terhadap prosedur dan pencapaian target jangka pendek, khususnya di kalangan ASN dan di wilayah seperti Kulon Progo. Analisis korelasi antar dimensi kepemimpinan menunjukkan hubungan kuat antara imbalan kontingen dan sanksi ketika target tidak tercapai, serta antara pengawasan aktif dan koreksi kesalahan secara langsung. Temuan ini menunjukkan efektivitas kepemimpinan transformasional dalam mendorong kolaborasi dan inovasi. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya keseimbangan antara kedua gaya kepemimpinan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan beragam guru dan memastikan tercapainya tujuan pendidikan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The main problem discussed in this research is the negative impact of modernization which has the potential to damage the character of Indonesia's young generation. This research aims to explore the potential for character education through the application of Pandawa character personification in the traditional art of Wayang kulit. The method used is descriptive qualitative, by analyzing the representation of the Pandawa characters in Shadow Puppets and the values ​​contained therein. Research findings show that Wayang kulit not only maintains local wisdom values, but also carries moral messages and character values ​​that can be adopted by the younger generation. The personification of the Pandawa character highlights positive traits such as courage, loyalty and leadership, which are relevant to character education. The conclusion of this research is that Shadow Puppetry can be an effective tool for strengthening the character of the younger generation, while maintaining Indonesia's cultural heritage. The application of the results of this research can be the basis for developing a culture-based character education program, which is expected to produce a young generation who are responsible and have noble values.
