Based on independent test sample T-test. Obtained Thit = 4.609 and Ttab = 2.120 at a significant level of 95% and α = 0.05. Abstract

The implementation of Qur'anic and Hadith values in Islamic education in Islamic Elementary Schools has long been a major concern for educators, particularly through the optimization of exemplary (uswah) and advice (mau'izhah) methods. This study aims to analyze in depth how these methods are applied in an Islamic Elementary School environment, identify the obstacles encountered, and offer recommendations for optimization strategies. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design in one Islamic Elementary School that implements education based on Qur'anic and Hadith values, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The research findings demonstrate the strategic role of exemplary and advice in the internalization of Islamic values, but their implementation faces obstacles such as inconsistency in actor behavior, lack of curriculum integration, and external cultural influences. The implementation of exemplary behavior is reflected in time discipline, congregational worship, and empathetic teacher behavior, while the advice method is carried out both formally and informally, although it is often still less contextual and hampered by external environmental influences. Success was achieved in the aspects of religious habits and strengthening student character. For optimization, this study recommends an integrative model based on the Quran and Hadith, strengthening the role of teachers, and active collaboration between schools and parents. The implications of this research are expected to make a tangible contribution to the formation of Islamic character and improving the quality of Islamic education in elementary schools.

Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the program successfully collected alms of Rp191,304,000 and humanitarian donations for Palestine of Rp46,884,000 with the participation of all educational units within the Adzkia Foundation in West Sumatra. The funds were realized in the form of distributing basic food packages and takjil to the community around the school, disaster victims, and community groups in need. This program not only increases student participation in philanthropic activities but also fosters empathy, social solidarity, responsibility, and concern for others through contextual learning experiences. Thus, the Amaliyah Ramadhan Program has proven to be an effective model for strengthening social character education through community service activities based on Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Alkawakib Model of a Model School Based on Adab and Character in Indonesia as a character education innovation oriented towards the formation of adab as the main foundation of learning. The research is motivated by the increasing number of character issues of students that indicate a gap between national education goals and educational practices in schools. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and analysis of various habituation programs implemented at Alkawakib School. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña through the process of data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the successful implementation of adab-based schools is supported by the integration of adab values in the curriculum, exemplary leadership and teachers, systematic daily habits, strategic partnerships with parents, a continuous monitoring system, and a consistent school culture. This model is able to shape the religious character, discipline, responsibility, social awareness, and independence of students in a sustainable manner. This study concludes that the Alkawakib model is worthy of being used as a model for developing schools based on manners and character that can be replicated in various educational units in Indonesia.
