Abstract

The monotonous physics learning process causes students to lose interest in physics learning material. The aim of this study is to identify differences in the achievement of physics learning outcomes between students who utilize the physics social gathering card (KARSANFIS) media in the STAD learning context and those who do not utilize the media and to evaluate the significant impact of using the KARSANFIS media in STAD learning on learning outcomes. physics students. This study applied a quasi-experimental method carried out at MA Nurul Istiqlal, Pamekasan Regency, involving 40 students as research samples, consisting of two classes, namely classes X-1 and X-2. Data analysis involves normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t tests. The descriptive results of this study show that the posttest scores in the control group and the experimental group are 67.50 and 78.25. The t test results indicated that the posttest p-value was 0.014 (p-value < α= 0.05), while the anova test results for the difference between posttest and pretest scores had a p-value of 0.001 (p-value < α= 0.05). From these findings it can be concluded that the role of KARSANFIS media in STAD learning provides a significant difference in students' physics learning outcomes compared to those who do not use the media, and the use of KARSANFIS media in STAD learning is able to significantly influence the achievement of student learning outcomes. Keywords: STAD type cooperative learning, learning outcomes, physics arisan card media Abstrak: Proses pembelajaran Fisika yang monoton mengakibatkan siswa kehilangan minat dalam materi pembelajaran fisika. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan dalam pencapaian hasil belajar fisika antara siswa yang memanfaatkan media kartu arisan fisika (KARSANFIS) dalam konteks pembelajaran STAD dengan mereka yang tidak memanfaatkan media serta untuk mengevaluasi dampak yang signifikan dari pemanfaatan media KARSANFIS dalam pembelajaran STAD terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa. Studi ini menerapkan metode eksperimen semu yang dilakukan di MA Nurul Istiqlal Kabupaten Pamekasan dengan melibatkan 40 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian, yang terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas X-1 dan X-2. Analisis data melibatkan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t. Hasil deskriptif dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa skor posttest pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen adalah 67.50 dan 78.25. Hasil uji t mengindikasikan bahwa p-value posttest sebesar 0.014 (p-value < α= 0.05), sedangkan hasil uji anova untuk selisih nilai posttest dan pretest memilki p-value sebesar 0.001 (p-value < α= 0.05). Simpulan dalam studi ini adalah peranan media KARSANFIS memiliki dampak pada hasil belajar siswa yang berbeda secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan mereka yang tidak memanfaatkan media, serta pemanfaatan media KARSANFIS dalam pembelajaran STAD mampu mempengaruhi secara signifikan pencapaian hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

In the teaching process needed by the teacher, namely the use of learning models, because it creates an atmosphere of effectiveness in the classroom and also for understanding and mastering concepts in physics material. According to MA Miftahul Ulum Bettet, students' conceptual understanding, especially in physics, is low, the evidence is that students' daily test results do not reach the minimum completeness criteria. The purpose of this study is whether there is a significant effect applying discovery learning as a learning model with the help of mind mapping based zooming presentation media on dynamic electrical material on understanding concepts. This type of research is a quasi-experimental using a pretest posttest control group design. All students of MA Miftahul Bettet are the research population, while 2 classes as samples are taken randomly, namely class XIA and class XIB. The data acquisition technique uses a test instrument. The data was processed using t-test, the value of tcount > ttable (7.526>2.606) so significant (2-tailed) <0.05 (0.000 <0.05). For this reason, the conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of the application of the discovery learning model with the help of mind mapping based zooming presentation media on students' understanding of the concept of dynamic electricity.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil wawancara terbatas dengan sebagian guru IPA fisika MTs di kecamatan Camplong Kabupaten Sampang didapatkan informasi bahwa hasil belajar siswa masih rendah dibawah KKM yang sudah ditentukan pihak sekolah. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran masih bersifat teacher centered sehingga sebagian besar siswa tidak mampu menghubungkan antara apa yang mereka pelajari dengan bagaimana pemanfaatannya dalam kehidupan nyata. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh pendekatan CTL berbantuan media powerpoint terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar IPA fisika siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Quasi Experimen dengan menggunakan Nonrandomized Control Group Pretest-Postest Design dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes objektif bentuk pilihan ganda. Tes ini terdiri dari empat pilihan (opsi) dan hasilnya diuji melalui statistik uji “t”. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 10,81 sedangkan ttabel sebesar 2,021 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 atau dapat diketahui thitung > ttabel. Dari perhitungan N-gain, dapat dinyatakan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar fisika yang diterapkan pendekatan CTL berbantuan media powerpoint lebih tinggi dari pada pembelajaran konvensional yaitu 0,71 > 0,52. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistika dan deskriptif maka dapat di simpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pendekatan CTL berbantuan media powerpoint terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa di kelas VIII MTs.

Abstract

Indonesia is a rich country in local wisdom, but it is starting to fade along with technological developments. pigeons racing on Madura island is an example of local wisdom that can be used as a source of new knowledge in understanding physics concepts in social life. Pigeon racing is a big competition that is held after the rice harvest season arrives. This research aims to analyze the physics concepts contained in pigeon racing. This research was conducted using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. data collection was obtained by technically analyzing the data subjectively using interview, observation and literature study methods. Based on data analysis and literature studies, it was found that in pigeon racing, there are physics concepts related to motion and displacement. At a rapid rate, the calculation results show, that the speed of an object can increase uniformly or decrease uniformly. An object is said to be moving in a straight line and changing uniformly to accelerate if the object's speed increases uniformly. Meanwhile, an object is said to be moving in a straight line and changes evenly and is slowed down if the object's speed decreases uniformly. The change in speed per unit time is called acceleration. Then, The results of this research can be used as a contextual learning resource in high school physics subjects about motion.

Abstract

Understanding the history of a nation is very important. Inscriptions are an important historical relic for the nation. Inscriptions provide information and learning for future generations. Inscriptions are usually made of stone or metal. There are several problems in reading the inscription, such as smearing which affects the readability of the writing, erosion of the smear or other things which reduce the legibility of the inscription. On the other hand, Javanese script is a way of writing Javanese instead of using Latin script. It is quite difficult to understand and memorize Javanese script because of its shape and rarely used. Archaeologists in Indonesia generally use fairly simple tools to read inscriptions so it takes a long time. This adds complexity to the process of documenting existing inscriptions. Therefore, in this research a tool was designed to read and translate inscriptions using the principle of light reflection. This is the main contribution and novelty of this research. The data that has been obtained is then processed using image processing and interpreted from Javanese to Indonesian. The method used is YOLO (You Only Look Once) to process image processing. Adding light around the inscription using LED strip lights. From the experiment, the success rate was 88.5% and the failure rate was 11.5%. The intensity of the light and the accuracy of the angle of incidence of the light greatly influence the level of success in reading the writing on the inscription.

Abstract

Nutrition is very important for the healthy and normal growth of babies. Determination of infant nutrition is usually calculated from two parameters, namely the baby's height and weight. Both data are then calculated manually to determine the nutritional condition of the baby. The process is considered relatively inefficient. Research is very important to overcome this problem, which will be made a measuring device for height and weight to determine the nutritional condition of babies automatically. This research uses a camera to measure height and a strain gauge sensor to measure weight. Both tools are integrated in a toddler box. The measurement data is then processed by the ATmega16 microcontroller and sent to a PC/laptop for evaluation, storage and appearance of the toddler's condition automatically on the database server. With this research, it is hoped that parents can monitor their baby's nutrition at any time easily and quickly. Based on experiments that have been carried out, measurement of height and weight for determining the nutritional status of infants using the canny detection method, has an average accuracy of 97.32%.
