Abstract

The process of folding clothes is one of the activities carried out in the laundry business or household. The activity is fairly easy but many people are still lazy to do it. As a result, clothes that have been washed will fall apart in certain rooms, thereby reducing the aesthetic value of a home. Semi Automatic T-Shirt Folding Machine is the right solution to make folding clothes easier and more time efficient. This tool is equipped with a servo motor that moves the folding board that has been designed in such a way that the user only needs to manghandle the shirt just once and simply push one button then the shirt will fold itself and will be neatly arranged through the clothes stacker board. The PID method is applied to DC motors that move under the clothes folder so that the buildup of clothes underneath will not be pressured upward when the clothes are piled up when they are folded. Ultrasonic sensor will measure the right height between the clothes with the door opening the stacking clothes with kp = 1, ki = 0.1, kd = 0.5 for thin clothes and kp = 5, ki = 1, kd = 2.5 for thick clothes so that the movement of the motor can adjust its speed . This tool can fold one shirt in 16.83 seconds 11 seconds faster than folding clothes manually

Abstract

Rice is the staple food of the Indonesian population. The main commodity of rice production is rice farmers. At present many rice farmers complain that rice yields are less than optimal, this is due to the many attacks of rice pests, especially rats and birds. To overcome these pests, farmers usually use rat poison, mouse burners and wires that are electrified which are placed around the rice fields, it is certainly very dangerous and very impacting on the rice field ecosystem. With the development of advanced technology now it is possible to build a system that is able to anticipate and minimize rice pest attacks. One of them is using ultrasonic waves as a mouse repellent and the movement of a scarecrow as a bird repellent. Because mice have sensitive hearing abilities so they feel disturbed when they hear the sound of ultrasonic waves with a certain frequency. Likewise birds, rice-eating birds will feel disturbed when there is a sudden movement around it. The objective to be achieved in this research is to facilitate the work of farmers to maintain their fields and also to maximize rice yields

Abstract

Teknologi Internet Of  Things dalam penelitian ini dimanfaatkan pada Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) (Studi Kasus : Prodi Teknik Elektro Universitas Trunojoyo Madura) sebagai sistem monitoring daya baterai dan kontrol beban. Semua sistem tersebut dibangun dengan tujuan mempermudah pengguna dalam mengelola konsumsi daya yang digunakan sekaligus mencegah kerusakan baterai sehingga masa pakai baterai dapat bertahan lebih lama dan penggunaan PLTS menjadi lebih optimal. Semua sistem tersebut dirancang menggunakan beberapa komponen yang saling terintegrasi dengan fungsi masing-masing seperti Raspberry sebagai pengolah data, smartphone sebagai interface, dan sensor aktuator sebagai input output. Dari hasil pengujian akurasi monitoring didapatkan nilai error rata-rata sebesar 1,56 %. Setelah memastikan sistem memiliki tingkat akurasi yang tinggi, dilakukan pengujian charge-discharge secara real time selama 7 hari yang menunjukan bahwa sistem bekerja sesuai tujuan penelitian yang dibuktikan dengan tidak adanya penggunaan daya melebihi batas standar SOC baterai yang digunakan sebesar 30%. Sedangkan untuk pengujian sistem kontrol didapatkan bahwa koneksi wifi memiliki rata-rata delay paling cepat selama 10,30 s, provider A 11,17 s, dan provider B 12,60 s.

Abstract

Inkubator telur merupakan proses penetasan telur tanpa adanya pengeraman dari induk unggas. Fertilisasi telur adalah proses pengecekan embrio pada telur dalam jangka hari tertentu setelah di inkubator untuk mengetahui telur dalam kondisi fertil (terdapat embrio) atau infertil (tidak terdapat embrio). Untuk mesin penetas menggunakan metode PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) dengan mikrkontroller STM32F103C8T6 dan berbasis energy hybrid menggunakan sumber PLN dan baterai aki secara bergantian, data dari pengujian mesin penetas akan disimpan dalam SD Card berupa data logger. Untuk proses pengolahan citra digital pada saat penyortiran menggunakan metode RGB (Red Green Blue) to HSV (Hue Saturation Value) kemudian diproses menggunakan machine learning dengan metode klasifikasi kNN (K-Nearest Neighbour). Pemrosesan mesin sortir menggunakan Raspberry Pi 3 dan software Phyton. Telur itik akan masuk kedalam mesin penetas dan setelah 7 hari akan dilakukan proses sortir fertilisasi telur itik secara otomatis. Pada proses pendeteksian telur fertil menggunakan masking yang didapatkan hanya area yang terdapat titik darah (blood spot) dan pembuluh darah (blood vessel). Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengujian pertama telur itik sebanyak 20 butir berhasil menetas sebanyak 18 butir dan dari pengujian kedua telur itik sebanyak 25 butir berhasil menetas sebanyak 20 butir, sehingga total presentase keberhasilan dari kedua pengujian tersebut sebanyak 85%.

Abstract

Satelit merupakan sebuah trobosan terbaru dalam proses pengiriman data. Satelit dapat digunakan untuk memantau keaadaan atmosfer bumi, navigasi, maupun komunikasi data jarak jauh sebagai contoh broadcast televisi Pada dasarbya antena penerima akan diarahkan secara manual oleh pengguna agar pengarahan antena tepat menuju posisi satelit broadcast televisi sesuai dan mudah, maka dapat digunakannya perangkat berupa antena tracking. Untuk mendapatkan posisi koordinat satelit digunakan perhitungan algoritma matematis. Penelitian ini penulis menggunakan satelit MEASAT-3A dengan hasil perhitungan pada waktu 1 Januari 2021 pukul 00:00:00 didapatkan posisi satelit terletak pada koordinat latitude -0,0232174734074105°, longitude 91,8487688254899° dan altitude 35784, 6417029739 Km. Posisi dari antena tracker berada pada koordinat latitude -7.128558069°, longitude 112.725319020 dan altitude 0.0300 Km. Didapatkan arah putar dari antena tracker berupa nilai azimuth 288,7960234° dan elevation °. keberhasilan dari pergerakan sudut putar antena tracker terhadap SetPoint sudut Azimuth  dan Elevation sebesar 9,74380501% dan 99,86132262%.

Abstract

Technology development is increasing rapidly and effectively brings an impact on the field of technology. One of them is scanning objects using a computer. Object scanning is a technology that combines hardware to see objects and software to process data that has been received by the hardware. The traditional manufacturing process without 3D scanning involves the design, analysis and testing of prototypes needs a very long time and expensive. Whereas 3D scanning is considered capable of being more efficient and practical. This research is conducted to facilitate the 3D scanning process by utilizing sensors on the Kinect 360 camera. The object will be scanned with a 360 camera to get data on each side. The results obtained will be processed by the system and process it into 3D objects. The process of collecting object data using Eclipse software while object rotation using a stepper motor which controlled by arduino. Based on the results of tests from research, the infrared sensor on the Kinect camera is less than optimal in reflecting light back on the object that has uneven surfaces. But the sensor works well on the object that has a flat surface.

Abstract

In recent years, the Internet became an important human need in the modern times. In 2019 the number of internet users in Indonesia reached 73.7% of the population as a whole and an increase of 8.9% from the previous year. In State Islamic High School Sidoarjo already provides internet services but existing bandwidth is not distributed evenly between ISP1 and ISP2. In this research, a Load balancing technique is carried out using the Per Connection Classifier (PCC) method. This method divides and classify the data packets to the Gateway connection. QoS Testing was performed using four parameters : Throughput, Jitter, Delay, and Packet Loss are taken the average value by measuring before and after Load balancing. Before Load balancing the uploads and downloads are 19.01 and 19.87 Mbps. From the results of testing the two domain, namely www.google.com and www.youtube.com the Delay was 55 and 39 ms, Jitter was 8 and 17 ms, and Packet Loss was 1% and 19%. Whereas after Load balancing is applied the uploads and downloads are 199.00 and 134.87 Mbps. From the results of testing two domains, the Delay is 21 and 24 ms, both Jitter is 0 ms, and both Packet Loss is 0%.

Abstract

Protokol IEEE 802.15.4 ZigBee merupakan standar untuk jaringan terbatas dengan konsumsi daya yang rendah. Paper ini membahas perangkat router, end device dan koordinator dengan protokol IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee terhadap jarak dan waktu gabung. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode pairing dan On/Off, yang merupakan model komunikasi dari router atau end device ke koordinator. Hasil dari pengujian bisa digunakan acuan untuk merancang jaringan mesh dengan perangkat Xbee dalam hal jarak dan waktu untuk berbagai keperluan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan dengan metode pairing dapat menjangkau jarak yang jauh sesuai spesifikasi teknis Xbee sedang dengan metode On/Off pencapaian tidak sejauh metode pairing danmemerlukan waktu dalam proses bergabung ke jaringan mesh.

Abstract

A new approach based on the implementation of Self Organizing Map is presented for automated detection of erythemato-squamous diseases. The purpose of clustering techniques is in order to determinate the severity of erythemato-squamous dermatology diseases. The studied domain contained records of patients with known diagnosis. Self-Organizing  Map algorithm's task was to classify the data points, in this case the patients with attribute data, to one of the six clusters (psoriasis, seboreic dermatitis, lichen planus, pityriasis rosea, cronic dermatitis, dan pityriasis rubra pilaris). The algorithm was used to detect the six erythemato-squamous diseases when 33 features defining five disease indications were used. The purpose is to determine an optimum classification scheme for this problem. The present research demonstrated that the features well represent the erythemato-squamous diseases and SOM algorithm's task achieved high classification accuracies. The best accuration for  psoriasis 85,94%, seboreic dermatitis 40,48%, lichen planus 56,25%, and pityriasis rosea 82,61%, with learning rate value were 0,1, 0,2, 0,9, and 0,4
