Abstract

Penguasaan konsep fisika siswa masih belum memenuhi kriteria ketuntasanminimal, hal ini terjadi karena kurangnya pengembangan pola pikir siswa. Siswadistimulasi untuk melakukan praktikum tetapi tidak mampu memahami materi secara mendalam. Prosedur penyelesaian diberikan secara rinci dan tidak ada proses investigasi dalam menemukan konsep fisika. Penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran GI dengan scaffolding terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika dengan menggunakan Quasi Experimental Design. Intrumen perlakuan berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa yang didalamnya terdapat scaffolding dan instrumen pengukuran berupa tes penguasaan konsep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari model pembelajaran GI dengan scaffolding terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan model project based learning (PjBL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dalam pembelajaran fisika terapan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Prodi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Islam Madura. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design. Desain yang digunakan yaitu Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari dua kelas, kelas A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas B sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah masing-masing kelas 22 peserta didik. parameter penelitian yang diukur meliputi keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik yang meliputi aspek: berpikir lancar, berpikir luwes, berpikir orisinil dan berpikir elaborasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan bantuan program SPSS 22.0 For windows. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji-T (hipotesis). Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap keterampilan berfikir kritis peserta didik pada matakuliah Fisika Terapan. Hasil ini dapat ditunjukkan bahwa kelas Eksperimen memiliki pencapaian keterampilan berpikir kreatif yang secara signifikan lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol.Kata Kunci: Project Based Learning, Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif, Fisika Terapan..

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of the use of project based learning (PjBL) models on creative thinking skills in applied physics learning. This research was conducted in the Physics Education Study Program of Madura Islamic University. The research method used is Quasi Experimental Design. The design used is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. sample used in this research consists of two classes. They are class A as control class and class B as experimental class with the number of each class is 22 students. The measured research parameters include students' creative thinking skills is consist of four aspects. they are :thinking smoothly, thinking flexibly, thinking originally and thinking elaboration. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive with SPSS 22.0 for windows. The results of data analysis using the T-test (hypothesis).From the results of data analysis and discussion it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using Project Based Learning (PjBL) models on students' critical thinking skills in Applied Physics courses. It can be shown that the Experimental class has the achievement of creative thinking skills that are significantly higher than the control class.

Abstract

Synthesis of magnesium aluminate spinel powder (MgAl2O4, abbreviated as MA) were prepared by the liquid mixing method. The synthesis of MA involved Mg powders with various weight compositions (4.8; 10; 20; 30; 40; and 60%) and Al powders (95.2; 90; 80; 70; 60 and 40%) as the raw materials, which were independently dissolved in 37% HCl to form MgCl2 and AlCl3 solutions. Both solutions were then mixed and stirred for 5 hours and dried to a temperature of about 100-105°C to produce powders with different weight compositions. Each powder resulted from drying was characterized using DTA-TGA, and then calcined at 650 °C; 750 °C and 850 °C for 1 hour. The calcined powder was characterized by XRD to qualitative and quantitative analyses using Rietica. It was found that MA samples contained only MgAl2O4 and MgO as the impurity phase. The relative weight fraction of MgAl2O4 increased up to 99% for 95.2 wt% Al. Using an extrapolative approach to determine the Mg-to-Al composition, nearly pure MA, as high as 99%, was achieved at 95.2% Al and 4.8% Mg.

Abstract

In this research ZrO2 has been synthesized from Kereng Pangi zircon sand in Central Kalimantan through alkali fusion-coprecipitation method. Firstly, zircon sand (ZrSiO4) was purified to reduce impurities by magnetic separation, cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner, soaked/leached with HCl 2 M for 12 hours and leached with HCl at 60 ºC for 3 hours. Secondly, alkali fusion was done with KOH as an alkali. This product was then washed by water and dried before leached with HCl 30% at 90 ºC for 30 minutes to precipitate and seperate Silica from Zircon. ZrO2 filtrate (ZrOCl2) precipitated with NH4OH at pH 4, pH 7, and pH 10 forms Zr(OH)4 gel. Zr(OH)4 gel was dried and characterized by DTA-TGA, which was then followed by calcination based on DTA TGA results at temperature ranges of 550 ºC - 700 ºC to produce ZrO2. XRD results show that single tetragonal phase of ZrO2 is formed in all variations of pH precipitation and calcination temperature. An analysis using MAUD software show that crystal size reduces as the increase in precipitation of pH. The crystal size results are 110 nm, 66 nm and 48 nm at pH 4, pH 7 dan pH 10 at 700 ºC, respectively. Moreover, XRF results show that ZrO2 with purity is at around 95.8 % at pH 4 and 96.3 % at pH 7 and pH 10.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the effectiveness of problem based learning with scaffolding on creative thinking abilities of senior high school students in terms of gender on the subject of Static Fluid. This type of research is quasi experimental using nonequivalent control group design. There are two classes in this study, namely the control class just with problem based learning and experimental class using problem based learning with scaffolding. The test instrument used was essay question. Conclusions are drawn based on results of data processing and analysis using T-test and two-way anova with SPSS 24.0. Based on the results of analysis and discussion, in this study the following conclusions were obtained: (1) Students creative thinking ability a taught using problem based learning with scaffolding were better than students' creative thinking ability taught using only problem based learning; (2) There are not differences in students' creative thinking abilities in terms of gender; (3) There is no an interaction between problem based learning with scaffolding with gender on students' creative thinking abilities. (4) Using problem based learning with scaffolding of students' creative thinking abilities in physics is more effective with an effect size value of 0.645 with a medium category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh signifikansi antara model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan alat peraga barbeku dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan bentuk desain eksperimen pretest-posttest control group design. Populasinya adalah kelas X MA Al-Islamiyah 1 Blumbungan dengan sampel sebanyak dua kelas yang diperoleh dari purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa Tes Pemahaman Konsep, Instrument Silabus, RPP, Lembar Kerja Siswa, Pretest dan Posttest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa nilai pretest - posttest pada kelas kontol 27,27 dan 55,45 sedangkan nilai pretest - posttest pada kelas eksperimen 20.91 dan 81,36. Hasil uji normalitas menggunakan uji Shapiro-wilk diketahui bahwa nilai signifikan pretest - posttest pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikan > 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sampel t-test dengan bantuan spss versi 25 diperoleh data thitung sebesar 6,751 dan signifikansi 0,000. Dari perhitungan tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa thitung > ttabel, karena nilai thitung = 6,751 dan nilai ttabel = 0,000. Mengacu pada dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam uji independent sampel t-test, jika nilai sig (2-tailed) < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran  discovery learning (DL) berbantuan video pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa SMA.setelah disampaikan model discovery learning berbantuan video pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) dengan desain the non equivalentcontrol grup design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA tahun ajaran 2020-2021 MA Miftahul Ulum Bettet Pamekasan. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling yaitu kelas X MIPA C sebagai kelas kontrol dan X MIPA B sebagai kelas eksperimen.analisis data Dallam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t yang dianalisis menggunakan spss versi 16. Instrument dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi dan soal pre-test post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Model discovery learning (DL) berbantuan video pembelajaran Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam pembelajaran fisika menggunakan model discovery learning (DL) berbantuan video pembelajaran. Hal Ini Terlihat Dari Hasil Uji Independentsample  T-test Yang Menunjukkan Nilai Sig. (2-tailed) Kurang Dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect and effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted with WhatsApp Messenger compared to the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model, in terms of the creative thinking skill of high school students in physics learning. This study used quasi experimental model with non-equivalent control group design. The data were analyzed by using independent samples t-test and effect size test. Based on the tests, it can be concluded that there are significant effect on the implementation of PjBL model assisted with WhatsApp Messenger on the creative thinking skill of high students in physics learning and PjBL model assisted with WhatsApp Messenger is more effective than the PBL model. Keywords: creative thinking skills, effect size, PBL, PjBL, WhatsApp Messenger DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpf.v7.n1.201901
