Abstract

Numerous researchers have conducted scholarly studies on the impact of tourist destinations on tourists' satisfaction and loyalty. However, research on the correlation between brand gestalt and tourist satisfaction and loyalty is still in its nascent stages. This study endeavors to investigate the effect of brand gestalt, which comprises diverse dimensions, including storyscape, sensescape, servicescape, and stakeholders, on the satisfaction and loyalty of local tourists in the Likupang beach tourism area of North Minahasa. A descriptive quantitative design was implemented, and primary data was gathered through a survey of 161 respondents who visited the Likupang beach tourism area of North Minahasa. Data analysis was performed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM), aided by the SmartPLS statistical application. The findings indicate that the sensescape and stakeholder dimensions are crucial predictors of tourist satisfaction. Additionally, the sensescape dimension exerts a significant and positive influence on tourist loyalty.

Abstract

Technology has become a vital part of Indonesian business activities. Currently in Indonesia, regulations regarding e-commerce are regulated in Law Number 11 of 2008 which has been amended to Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions, Law Number 7 of 2014 concerning Trade and Government Regulation Number 80 of 2019 concerning Trade through Electronic Systems. In this research, the method used is normative research method, which in its construction includes analyzing problems by managing data obtained from laws and regulations (statue approach) as the basis of research. Seeing the rapid progressiveness of technology, e-commerce transactions have become an integral part of people's lives. This progress can be seen in transaction tools that only use electronic goods through financial applications which have now become a platform for conducting trading activities. In conclusion, consumers as data subjects are also given significant legal rights. In Articles 7-13 of the Personal Data Protection Law, various data subject rights are mentioned, including the right to obtain information regarding the clarity of the identity of the party requesting the data, the right to access and correct the data, the right to erasure, and the right to withdraw consent. The exercise of these rights becomes a juridical instrument to control the use of the data.

Abstract

Air transportation is the backbone of tourist mobility in Indonesia, particularly within tour packages that bundle flights, accommodation, and destination activities. When disruptions occur—such as delays, cancellations, schedule changes, or overbooking—tourists often suffer “chain losses,” including forfeited hotel bookings and prepaid activities. Although Indonesia has sectoral legal instruments (aviation, tourism, and consumer protection), responsibility allocation in multi-party tour packages remains fragmented, creating uncertainty regarding who must compensate tourists beyond the airline ticket. This study aims to analyze the scope and limits of airline rights and obligations in flight-based tour packages, and to evaluate the adequacy of legal protection for tourists within tripartite relations involving airlines, travel agents, and destination service providers. Using a normative juridical method—combining statute and conceptual approaches with legal principle analysis—this research maps relevant norms and tests their coherence against principles of fairness, legal certainty, and consumer protection. The findings indicate that normative protection formally exists, yet implementation is ineffective because integrated contract standards are absent and joint liability among tourism businesses is not explicitly regulated. The study concludes that regulatory harmonization is required, alongside standardized tour-package contracts that clearly stipulate rights, obligations, risk allocation, compensation mechanisms for chain losses, and accessible dispute resolution. Future research should incorporate empirical case analysis of dispute outcomes, comparative models of joint liability in other jurisdictions, and regulatory impact assessments to test feasibility and enforcement pathways.
