Abstract

The discussion on the relationship between Islam and Javanese culture in Indonesia is intriguing. Culture is defined as a complex system that encompasses values, norms, beliefs, language, art, customs, institutions, technology, and creative products of humans. The focus od the research is on Javanese culture, which is prominent in Indonesia. The connection between Islam and Javanese culture is reflected in a long and diverse history, influenced by various ethnic groups, religions, and cultures united within one nation. This research adopts a literature review method, analyzing information from various literary sources such as books, research journals, and scholarly works. The conclusion indicates that the relationship between Islam and Javanese culture is inseparable, despite some contradictions. A thorough study of Islamic teachings is necessary to ensure proper integration of religious values and cultural traditions in the daily lives of the Javanese community.

Abstract

This research examines the phenomenon of families with many children at the Imam Bukhari Islamic Boarding School in Surakarta, Indonesia. The concept of a family with many children is understood in the context of Salafi religious teachings and is applied by Salafi preachers, with reference to certain Fiqh books. This research is field research which uses qualitative descriptive research methods with an ethnographic approach. Ethnography is research that describes the culture of a community or society. Data sources in this research are divided into two types, namely field data (field research) as primary data and library data (library research) as secondary data. The research highlights the important role of economic, historical, sociological, religious and cultural factors in managing big families. In conclusion, the phenomenon of families with many children at the Imam Bukhari Islamic Boarding School can be explained through historical, religious and social factors involving key figures, religious teachings and interactions within the Islamic boarding school community.

Abstract

Psychology as a science is currently influenced by Western scientific concepts. Islamic psychology examines the psychological phenomena of humans based on the sources of Islamic teachings, namely the Qur'an, Sunnah, and the thoughts of Muslim scholars and philosophers. This article discusses the history of Islamic educational psychology, which is divided into two periods, classical and modern, and explores the foundations of Islamic educational psychology. The classical period (7th to 13th century) features contributions from prominent figures such as Al-Kindi, Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, Al-Ghazali, and Ibn Arabi. The modern period (19th century to present) includes significant contributions from figures like Muhammad Iqbal, Malik Badri, Abdul Hamid Abu Sulayman, and Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas. The article also highlights the broad scope of Islamic psychology, covering various aspects of human life, and emphasizes its integration with modern scientific knowledge and Islamic values to address psychological issues.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the relationship between the mastery of Ushul Fiqh and the level of understanding of Fiqh among seventh-semester students at Ma’had Aly Imam Bukhari. Ushul Fiqh is a crucial discipline in Islamic law studies, as it serves as a foundation for understanding and applying Islamic legal rulings. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine whether mastery of Ushul Fiqh significantly contributes to a deeper understanding of Fiqh. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with several seventh-semester students studying both Fiqh and Ushul Fiqh. Thematic analysis was used to explore the relationship between mastery of Ushul Fiqh and the understanding of Fiqh. The results show a significant relationship between the mastery of Ushul Fiqh and the understanding of Fiqh. Students with a strong grasp of Ushul Fiqh were able to understand Fiqh terms more easily and had better analytical skills in evaluating various scholarly opinions. In conclusion, the mastery of Ushul Fiqh positively contributes to a better understanding of Fiqh. Thus, improving the teaching of Ushul Fiqh is expected to enhance students' comprehension of Fiqh and improve the quality of Islamic education in academic institutions.

Abstract

The aim of this study was 1) to determine the students 'response to the use of interactive multimedia-based edutainment 2) the improvement of students' mathematics achievement 3) to determine the effect of the use-based interactive multimedia edutainment to increase student mathematics achievement. This research is a quantitative method used was experimental research design pretest posttest control group. The population in this study were students of class VII MTs.KHAS Kempek Cirebon 2015-2016 school year. Sample class VII E as the control class VII and class C as the experimental class. Data collection techniques in this study a questionnaire and tests. Based on the results of data processing, showed that students responded very well to the use of interactive multimedia-based edutainment. This is evidenced by the average percentage of each indicator by 84%. Mathematics achievement test results of students in the experimental class to change the value of an average of 48,75 while in the control group experienced changes in the average value of 34,04. Based on the results of regression testing using SPSS 21.00 correlation coefficient (r) = 0,777 which is included in the category of strong and coefficient of determination () = 0,603, or 603%. The regression equation is Y = -114,714 + 1,561X. This equation has a coefficient of linear regression direction (b) = 1,561 is positive, meaning that the response of students moved up one unit, then the student achievement in mathematics will increase 1,561 times. Statistical analysis showed that tcount> table = 8,273> 1,68. This means there is significant influence based interactive multimedia edutainment use to increase student mathematics achievement. The magnitude of effect was 60,3% and the rest influenced by other factors. Key Words: Based Interactive Multimedia Edutainment, Learning Achievement
