Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the implementation of education, including learning physics. All learning processes must be carried out online to stop the spread of the virus. Online physics learning is physics learning that is carried out in a network by utilizing technological advances in the form of the internet to achieve learning objectives. There are various means of supporting online learning. Technological advances are so rapid, making it easier for students to get learning resources that are relevant to curriculum needs. One of the most popular online learning resources is Brainly. Brainly is quite popular among students and teachers and is often used to support learning, especially online learning of physics. The purpose of this study was to find out how the use and impact of Brainly in learning physics. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a questionnaire instrument distributed to high school students in Mataram City through WhatsApp Groups. It was found that the use of Brainly in physics learning is quite often used and has a positive impact on student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the development trends of flipbook-based science e-modules with the CINQASE learning model in terms of critical thinking skills to improve student learning outcomes in junior high schools. This research method is descriptive analytical. The data used in this study were obtained from documents indexed by Google Scholar from 2015-2024 using Publish or Perish and Dimension.ai. The research procedure uses the PRISMA guidelines. The data identified and analyzed are the types of publications, publication sources, and research titles on the development trends of flipbook-based science with the CINQASE learning model in terms of critical thinking skills to improve student learning outcomes in junior high schools. The data analysis method uses bibliometric analysis assisted by VOS viewer software. The results of the analysis show that the research trend on the development of flipbook-based science with the CINQASE learning model in terms of critical thinking skills to improve student learning outcomes in junior high schools indexed by Google Scholar from 2015 to 2024 has increased significantly in 2023. However, in 2024 there was a decrease in the research trend on this matter. There are 268 edited books and articles related to the discussion of flipbook-based science development research with the CINQASE learning model reviewed from the perspective of critical thinking skills to improve student learning outcomes in junior high schools. Keywords that are often used in research on this matter are e-module, student, problem, and skill.

Abstract

The implementation of the Borg & Gall model in science education is highly significant in creating educational products that are adaptive, relevant, and based on real needs in the field. This research aims to analyze the results of a literature review on the application of the Borg & Gall development model in science education. This research uses the literature review method and data processing using descriptive analysis. Three journals related to the title determined by the researcher were obtained. Based on the literature review conducted on 3 journals regarding the development of teaching media using the Borg & Gall development model in Science Learning, it has a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes. The next interesting research to conduct is related to the application of the Borg & Gall model in other fields of study to develop knowledge related to the Borg & Gall development model.

Abstract

This training activity aims to introduce more effective and interactive learning to students at SMPN 3 Labuapi, West Lombok, in understanding biology concepts, especially in the reproductive system. The activity is carried out through two stages, namely training and mentoring. Training at  Public Junior High School 3 Labuapi introducing learning media based on the Smart Apps Creator application on reproductive system material with interactive content went well. It is hoped that a positive response to the application of this media can increase understanding and motivation in science education. This innovative approach is in line with the need for creative teaching methods in today's world of education.
