Abstract

This study examines teenagers and karaoke nights. The purpose of this study was to determine the cause of teenagers going to karaoke nights and the impact of frequent karaoke nights. We used qualitative analysis. The study shows that there are various reasons why teenagers come to karaoke nights. Some of them come from broken home families so the teenager looks for another place outside the home for disappointment. Some teenagers go to karaoke places to look for additional income. They can work as waiters or become singers who are booked by officials or businessmen who have a lot of money. There are even teenagers who become called women to serve them. Another reason why teenagers go to karaoke is the lack of parental supervision. The impact of teenagers frequenting karaoke nights is the unhealthy association that tends to lead to promiscuity which is very detrimental to themselves and their parents. Promiscuity becomes accustomed to being carried out by teenagers so that it damages their brains and minds. The most visible impact when teenagers are familiar with the world of karaoke nights is the quality of their education is damaged, their enthusiasm for learning decreases, and they are lazy to go to school.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji tentang remaja dan karaoke malam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab remaja pergi ke tempat karaoke malam dan dampak yang ditimbulkan karena sering karaoke malam. Metode Penelitian menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan beragam penyebab remaja datang ke tempat karaoke malam. Ada diantara mereka berasal dari keluarga broken home sehingga remaja tersebut mencari tempat lain di luar rumah untuk berbagi dengan teman-temannya yang juga menyukai tempat karaoke sebagai pelampiasan rasa kecewa. Ada juga  remaja ke tempat karaoke yang bertujuan mencari penghasilan tambahan. Mereka bisa bekerja sebagai pelayan atau menjadi penyanyi yang dibooking oleh pejabat atau pengusaha yang banyak uang. Bahkan ada remaja yang menjadi wanita penggilan untuk melayani mereka. Penyebab lain remaja ke tempat karaoke karena kurangnya pengawasan orang tua. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari seringnya remaja ke tempat karaoke malam yaitu pergaulan yang tidak sehat yang cenderung mengarah ke pergaulan bebas yang sangat merugikan diri sendiri dan orang tua. Pergaulan bebas menjadi terbiasa dilakoni oleh remaja sehingga merusak otak dan pikirannya. Dampak yang paling terlihat ketika remaja sudah mengenal dunia karaoke malam adalah kualitas pendidikannya rusak, semangat untuk belajar turun, dan bermalas-malasan untuk sekolah.

Abstract

The local wisdom values of the Acehnese have proven to be used as a mechanism in conflict resolution. The problem of conflict is not only the social reality of the people of Aceh, but it has become a problem for the world community. Many conflicts occur in communities that require deep knowledge and broad insight into adat so that they can be resolved through deliberation and consensus. Knowledge of local wisdom and insight into customary-based conflict resolution is not evenly distributed among gampong apparatus, therefore this community service aims to strengthen the role of local wisdom-based conflict resolution to create peace in Gampong Meunasah Mesjid, Muara Dua sub-district, Lhokseumawe City. The method used is strengthening and capacity building. Stages of implementation, problem identification, program implementation in the form of training. So that it is hoped that capacity and knowledge development will be achieved, improvement of the social and cultural values of the community. The benefits and impacts of this training are that the community will gain a strengthened understanding of customary values and local wisdom that can be used as a means of conflict resolution in the national legal system; strengthening understanding of customary values and local wisdom according to Islamic law; the establishment of partnerships, friendship and cooperation between the campus and the community in maintaining peace in the community; preservation and improvement of values and the role of conflict resolution in sociological and cultural contexts in society.

Abstract

This article examines religion as social capital in realizing resilience in Aceh. The purpose of this research is to discuss how religion and its values become social capital, and how to socialize these religious values in society. This research is a qualitative research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from observable people's behavior. The theory used is social capital which believes that religious values, norms and beliefs contained in social structures and structures are able to bond and integrate society to move together to solve problems. The approach is ethnography, which is a written description of people's way of life. There are three data techniques, namely; interviews, observation and document study, then analyzed by exclusion, namely matching all data that has been obtained. The results showed that religion is capable of being a social capital, as well as having values and the norms of tawhid, patience, sincerity, tawakkal and togetherness; These values and norms have been socialized since Islam entered Aceh and continue to be carried out by families and religious leaders through education. Thus, through religion as social capital, it can create resilience in the face of disasters in Acehnese society

Abstract

This study examines the conflict resolution based on local wisdom in Aceh, focusing on the existence and role of traditional institutions in building peace and a frame of reference in banning conflicts in the city of Lhokseumawe. Local wisdom can be a resolution of the conflicts in society on the one hand, while on the other hand, it can bring a better impact than the formal justice. Local wisdom is laden with religious values that become a way of life of the Acehnese, ss mentioned in hadih majah (Aceh proverb): hukom ngon adat lagee zat ngon sifeut (religion and customs like substance and nature, in which they can not be separated.) This tradition is a very democratic conflict resolution without bloodshed between the two sides of the conflict, both vertically and horizontally. This research was conducted in the city Lhoksumawe using a qualitative approach and analyzed with the theory of structural functionalism. In this regard, we undertake the data collection method: in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and document research. The results show that local wisdom still exists to resolve conflicts or disputes in society, such fighting between residents, lightweight theft (stealing) and land boundaries. While the role of traditional institutions in resolving conflicts or disputes is significant, and such traditional institutions, among others are: keuchik, tuha peut, imeum meunasah and other public figures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bebertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi jaringan sosial nelayan keramba jaring apung dalam membantu perekonomian keluarga. Lokasi penelitian ini di Desa Teluk One-One , Kecamatan Lut Tawar, Kabupaten Aceh Tengah, Takengon. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan strategi yang dilakukan nelayan keramba jaring apung untuk membangun jaringan sosial dalam kerjasama untuk membantu meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga.  Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kehidupan nelayan keramba jaring apung memiliki hubungan erat dengan lingkungan alam untuk membantu perekonomian keluarga dengan memanfaatkan potensi sumberdaya alam dengan dua sektor produksi sekaligus yaitu sektor produksi dan sektor non produksi. Nelayan keramba jaring apung terlibat dalam kegiatan ekonomi pada sektor produksi pertanian dan sampingan dalam sektor keramba jaring apung. Nelayan keramba jaring apung menggunakan strategi dengan membuat kegiatan sosial dan saling membantu dalam segala aspek, seperti berbagi ikan hasil panen, menjenguk kerabat yang sakit dan ikut berpartisipasi saat terjadi musibah serta melakukan kenduri serta makan bersama dengan kerabat di keramba jaring apung. Strategi nelayan keramba jaring apung terjadi melalui penguatan kepercayaan dan jaringan terhadap pihak eksternal maupun internal. Secara internal mereka memperkuat solidaritas dengan kerabat yang kemudian menjadi komunitas, dan secara eksternal mereka membangun kepercayaan dengan pihak toke.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji Strategi Keluarga Miskin Dalam Mempersiapkan Biaya Persalinan (Studi Kasus Pada Rumah Sakit Zubir Mahmud Kabupaten Aceh Timur). Fokus penelitian ini pada strategi keluarga miskin dalam mempersiapkan biaya persalinan, dan pandangan keluarga miskin sekitaran rumah sakit Zubir Mahmud terhadap biaya persalinan secara normal yang dit-erapkan BPJS Kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori aksi yang dikembangkan oleh Tal-cott Parsons. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) strategi keluarga miskin dalam mem-persiapkan biaya persalinan adalah (a) mengutang biaya persalinan kepada saudara kandung, teman dan saudaranya, dan (b) menabung untuk biaya persalinan semenjak awal kehamilan hingga hendak melahirkan, (2) pandangan keluarga miskin terhadap biaya persalinan secara normal yang diterapkan oleh BPJS Kesehatan ketika melahirkan di rumah sakit Zubir Mahmud adalah (a) mempersulit keluarga miskin memperoleh pelayanan kesehatan, dan (b) kartu BPJS Kesehatan tidak memberi manfaat bagi pasien melahirkan normal.

Abstract

This  study  discusses  the  protection  of  women  and  children  after divorce  at  the  Syar'iyah  Court  in  Aceh.  A  legal  sociology  approach  is  used to  draw  the  decisions  of  the  Banda  Aceh,  Aceh  Besar,  Pidie,  Bireuen,  and Lhokseumawe Syar'iyyah Courts. The interviews were conducted with judges, community  leaders,  village  heads,  heads  of  the  Office  of  Religious  Affairs (KUA),  academics,  traditional  figures,  and  non-governmental  organizations (NGO) activists. This study concludes that the Syar'iyah Court in Aceh, in its  decision,  has  ensured  the  rights  of  women  and  children.  The  Syar'iyah Court  in  Aceh  determined  the  provision  of  'iddah,  muṭ'ah  maintenance, joint  assets,  and  childcare  rights  to  women.  Children  get  living  expenses, guardianship from the family, and care from the mother. Sociologically, the law has functioned as a means of social control through the Syar'iyah Court and judges as the main part of the legal structure supported by other elements of society so that the protection of women and children can be realized fairly.Keywords: protection of women and children; divorce; legal sociology; sharia court AbstrakKajian  ini  membahas  perlindungan  perempuan  dan  anak  setelah perceraian pada Mahkamah Syar’iyah di Aceh. Dengan pendekatan sosiologi hukum,  studi  ini  bersumber  pada  putusan-putusan  Mahkamah  Syar’iyyah Banda Aceh, Aceh Besar, Pidie, Bireuen, and Lhokseumawe dan wawancara kepada hakim, tokoh masyarakat, kepala desa, kepala Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA),  akademisi,  tokoh  adat  dan  aktivis  Lembaga  Swadaya  Masyarakat (LSM). Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Mahkamah Syar’iyah di Aceh dalam putusannya telah memastikan hak-hak perempuan dan anak. Mahkamah Syar’iyah di Aceh menetapkan pemberian nafkah ‘iddah, nafkah muṭ‘ah, harta bersama dan hak pengasuhan anak kepada perempuan; dan anak mendapatkan biaya hidup, perwalian dari keluarga dan pengasuhan dari ibu. Secara sosiologis, hukum telah berfungsi sebagai alat kontrol sosial melalui Mahkamah Syar’iyah dan  hakim  sebagai  bagian  utama  dari  struktur  hukum  yang  didukung  oleh elemen masyarakat lainnya sehingga perlindungan terhadap perempuan dan anak dapat terwujud secara adil.Kata Kunci: perlindungan perempuan dan anak; perceraian; sosiologi hukum; Mahkamah Syar’iyah

Abstract

This research examined meunasah as the social capital in implementing Islamic law in Aceh. It aimed to explain the social capital of meunasah concerning its role and functions in supporting the Islamic law implementation in Aceh. This research has its root in studying the sociology of law, emphasizing the empirical legal analysis within the society. The researchers used social capital, which consisted of cognitive and structural aspects as a theoretical framework, and interviews, literature study, and observation, as the data collection methods. This study found that meunasah had a central position in Acehnese society as a center for religious activities, a place to learn the Qur’an, social activities, and as a customary institution. Since time immemorial, meunasah has played a central role as a center for community activities at the gampong level. Even though meunasah had transformed itself into a mosque in urban areas, its function and role remained as a place for internalizing the Islamic law principles, as a medium for socializing Islamic law, and as a center for religious, social activities. This study argues that meunasah can still be the ‘glue’ of social networks with its religious, social, and customary values as a cognitive, social capital. On another side, imuem meunasah can be considered a structural social capital. Meunasah, as part of social institutions, can support social order and order, which is a social function of law. Without the support of meunasah as a cognitive social capital, the researchers argue that Islamic law will be difficult to be internalized in society.
