Abstract

The discourse of postponing the 2024 election has generated many responses from various groups. In these expressions, of course, using language and the language used in these expressions can cause various responses. Therefore, this study aims to dissect the language context in the expression "discussion of postponing the 2024 election" by using the analytical knife of Wittgenstein's perspective on grammar game theory. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach with library research as the data collection system. The results of this study describe that there is a compatibility between language and the context of language use in the phrase "discussion on postponing the 2024 election". The context includes the language used in this expression, including the political context, because it is uttered by political practitioners and people who have authority in the government and the expression is uttered when Indonesian political parties begin to enter the preparation stage ahead of the 2024 election. Next is the context of the pandemic. COVID-19. In the condition of Indonesia which is being hit by a pandemic, it is very possible to postpone this election, given that there are rules that prohibit crowds. So with this in mind, this expression is an expression that requires meaning and at the same time gives rise to the assumption that this expression can tarnish the face of the constitution in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the negative impact of gambling behavior in the Islamic view. The method used in this research is qualitative through literature study. The results and discussion of this study are that in Islam gambling is described as "a transaction between two parties in the ownership of an object or service that helps and benefits one party and harms another party by tying the transaction to certain actions or events. Another term gambling refers to any game which involves betting in the form of money, goods, etc. The conclusion of this study is that gambling does not contribute to economic growth because it produces no output other than the transfer of money and products between individuals. Gambling does not drive productivity, on the contrary, it is a waste of energy and time for those involved in therein and this has been confirmed in the Qur'an.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to discuss the concept of happiness from the perspective of Muslim philosophers namely Al-Farabi and Al-Kindi. This research used a qualitative method through literature study. The results and discussion of this research are that happiness has become an eternal concept that will always change, the concept of happiness is not a taboo in the world of philosophy, so it has gone through various dynamics of its development. Al-Farabi and Al-Kindi have the same background but they have different views on the concept of happiness. Al-Farabi argues that happiness is the good that is desired for the good itself. Al-Kindi argues that the concept of happiness is the primacy of rational thinking, which means imitating God's actions. The conclusion of this study is that to achieve happiness one must understand with certainty from theoretical matters to achieving commendable habits.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the concept of mahabah according to Jalaluddin Rumi and its relevance to environmental preservation. The research method used is a qualitative type through literature study. The results and discussion of this study are that there is a concept of love in society that has experienced a reduction in meaning which makes it so narrow. This is due to the lack of public understanding of the concept of mahabah which is often referred to as "love". Society generally thinks that love is synonymous with attraction to the opposite sex, even though love, according to figures, one of which is Jalaluddin Rumi, love is not only limited to that. This research focuses on how the concept of love in Jalaluddin Rumi's point of view, both regarding the nature and implementation in life, especially the environment. As a result, this article provides an overview of how the concept of love should be in human beings and makes that love a way to love God.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the concept of human identity according to Arthur Schopenhauer's view. The method used is a qualitative type with a literature study. The results and discussion of this research is that identity is a manifestation of one's life that can appear from childhood and is influenced by factors such as environmental factors and social factors. According to Arthur Schopenhauer, human identity is the result of self-reflection and helps humans recognize the meaning of life in the midst of development. This identity is not static but dynamic. Where this self-meaning involves self-understanding from time to time. This study concludes that the concept of human identity according to Arthur Schopenhauer must suppress ego ambitions and individual interests. Humans who obey the ego actually makes his life suffer. An uncontrolled human ego can also harm other people. Schopenhauer's concept of human identity is explained in a unified whole and balanced from a human being which includes three important aspects personality, self-identity and uniqueness.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the understanding of rationalism that was initiated by Rene Descartes and the opposition to metaphysics, Rene Descartes' Rationalism is an understanding that emerged in the confines of the Christian church known as the scholastic period. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, and secondary data, the author tries to relate and present Descartes' rationalist thoughts and Descartes' metaphysical thoughts to prove that material things exist. Even God created humans to have a tendency to understand that material things exist. If the understanding that material things exist is only a complex matrix that deceives the human mind, then this means that God is an impostor, and for Descartes, an impostor is imperfection. Whereas God is a perfect being, therefore God cannot deceive, so that material objects must exist.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the review of one of the philosophers in the early modern age of rationalism, namely Rene Descartes. This research method applies a qualitative type through library studies and content analysis. The results and discussion regarding the stages of the workings of the doubt method developed by Rene Descartes, innate ideas, the existence of God and criticism of the flow of rationalism developed by Rene Descartes. The conclusion of this study is to get to know one of the philosophers at the beginning of the modern age of rationalism, namely Rene Descartes who has a very solid philosophical foundation and certainty that has clear criteria so that it is difficult to doubt its validity.

Abstract

A person's psychology is greatly influenced by various life problems such as the emergence of inner conflicts due to environmental influences, association and even economic factors. Events like this are also often told in literary works played by important historical figures. This Research Discusses Sigmund Freud's Theory of Consciousness and Psychoanalysis on the Development of Human Personality. Analyzing Pramoedya Ananta Toer's novel and Socialist Realism Literature by providing a clear picture of the thoughts and aesthetics of socialist realism using a qualitative descriptive approach. In all his writings and literary works, Pramoedya always offers and fights for socialist realism against other isms. Even in the novel Socialist Realism Literature, he fights for his ideology against feudalism and authoritarianism.
