Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to describe the grammatical interpretation in elong Ugi Mappadendang by using Frederich Schleirmacher's Hermeneutics theory. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The source of the research is elong Ugi Mappadendang which was created by Abdullah Alamudi and Andi Siti Nurhani Sapada, while the object of the research is the words and phrases in the text that are included in Frederich Schleirmacher's Hermeneutics theory. The results of the study indicate that there is a grammatical interpretation through the existence of parables, repetition, emphasis and word linkages that describe the Bugis people who are diligent and work hard to fulfill their needs in order to survive, regarding previous beliefs in the existence of Gods who give blessings and salvation, and the imposition is mandatory and brings goodness and the participation of the Bugis community in carrying out the Mappadendang tradition so that the preservation of the Mappadendang tradition grows in the Bugis community.Keywords: Grammatical Interpretation, Hermeneutics, Mappadendang

Abstract

This research is pre-experimental in one-group-pretest-postest design that aimed to find out whether or not the implementation of role models improved the students' descriptive writing skills in SMKN 1 KAB. Wajo and students’ interest. The sample of this research is 23 students of a class at the ten grade students in SMKN 1 KAB. WAJO in academic year 2021/2022. To get data, the researcher gives a pre-test before the treatment. The treatment that has been given to students is to explain material regarding descriptive text in 4 meetings, the researcher explains the components of writing, explains what role models are, and several types of role models. Thus treatment result can be known to be more accurate because it can compare the condition before given the treatment. After that, the data are analysed using SPSS 25.0. The result showed that the students descriptive writing text for X AKL students of SMK Negeri 1 Wajo before applying the treatment (pre-test) are categorized as very poor with an mean score of 76,96. Meanwhile, the results of students descriptive writing test for class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Wajo after applying the Treatment (post-test) were categorized as quite good with an mean score of 85,61. Moreover, the results of students interest for X AKL students of SMK Negeri 1 Wajo before applying the treatment (pre-test) are categorized as very poor with an mean score of 70,65. Meanwhile, the results of students descriptive writing test for class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Wajo after applying the Treatment (post-test) were categorized as quite good with an mean score of 84,74. It can be proven by the hypothesis value was lower than P (0.000 ˂ 0.05) which means (H1) was accepted. Therefore, it is concluded that role models improve the writing skill of the eleventh-grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Wajo. Keywords— role model, descriptive text, writing skill

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang begitu pesat telah mencapai sektor transportasi di Indonesia. PT. Gojek Indonesia menjadi salah satu transportasi berbasis online yang telah memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi dalam menyediakan layanan antar-jemput dan pesan-antar. Kemunculan transportasi online ini telah menimbulkan kontroversi dan penolakan dari transportasi konvensional. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali sistem manajemen informasi yang diterapkan oleh PT. Gojek Indonesia dalam mengembangkan transportasi berbasis online di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pustaka dan kajian literatur (Library Research Or Literature Review), yang melibatkan penelusuran sumber-sumber pustaka seperti jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan situs web sebagai sumber data utama. Penelitian ini secara khusus berfokus pada analisis dan evaluasi dari berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan dengan topik penerapan sistem informasi manajemen pada PT. Abstract

Komunikasi efektif dan etika profesional merupakan kompetensi penting bagi siswa vokasi dalam menghadapi dunia industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis persepsi siswa terhadap pentingnya etika komunikasi profesional di SMK Negeri 4 Takalar sebagai bekal persiapan magang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan 41 siswi melalui purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi instruksional guru dinilai sangat efektif oleh seluruh responden pada aspek kejelasan informasi, komunikasi dua arah, penggunaan media, empati, dan etika. Sebanyak 53,7% responden menyatakan setuju bahwa materi disampaikan dengan bahasa yang mudah dipahami, 75,6% menilai instruksi tugas jelas, dan 61% menyatakan penggunaan WhatsApp serta Google Classroom membantu memahami tugas. Meski persepsi siswa umumnya positif, 2,4% responden merasa pendapatnya kurang dihargai. Temuan ini menunjukkan etika komunikasi profesional telah terbentuk cukup baik sebagai bekal kesiapan magang.

Abstract

Perayaan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-80 Republik Indonesia di SMP Negeri 16 Mandai dilaksanakan pada Kamis, 21 Agustus 2025 dengan melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memeriahkan HUT RI sekaligus menanamkan nilai sportivitas, kerja sama, dan nasionalisme di kalangan siswa. Metode pelaksanaannya meliputi serangkaian lomba, antara lain karaoke lagu perjuangan, tari, estafet sedotan, estafet gelas, dan makan kerupuk. Pelaksanaan didukung oleh guru sebagai juri, OSIS sebagai penggerak siswa, serta mahasiswa PPL yang berkontribusi pada aspek teknis dan dokumentasi. Evaluasi keberhasilan dilakukan melalui observasi partisipasi dan antusiasme siswa, dokumentasi foto/video, serta refleksi bersama guru dan mahasiswa PPL. Suatu kegiatan dinyatakan berhasil apabila seluruh lomba terlaksana sesuai jadwal, partisipasi siswa tinggi, suasana kondusif dan tertib, serta tujuan utama tercapai. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan berjalan lancar, partisipasi siswa sangat tinggi, suasana kondusif, dan tujuan kegiatan tercapai. Dengan demikian, perayaan HUT RI di SMP Negeri 16 Mandai tidak hanya menjadi ajang hiburan tahunan, tetapi juga sarana pembentukan karakter siswa sekaligus memberikan pengalaman berharga bagi mahasiswa PPL dalam mendukung kegiatan sekolah.

Abstract

Cognitive assessment through short-answer essays requires a consistent and objective scoring process; however, manual evaluation often suffers from time constraints and inter-rater variability. Automatic Essay Scoring (AES) has emerged as a promising approach to automate the assessment process. This study proposes an optimized Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) model combined with FastText embeddings for Indonesian text classification using semantically augmented data generated by IndoBERT. The training dataset was obtained through the EDA_Synonym_IndoBERT augmentation technique on the UKARA dataset, while the validation and testing datasets consisted of original, non-augmented responses. Model optimization was achieved through the integration of Global Max Pooling to enhance feature representation and class weighting to mitigate class imbalance. Experimental results show that the proposed model achieved an accuracy of 93.49% on the validation set and 78.00% on the independent test set. The performance gap between validation and testing results indicates that, although semantic augmentation increases the diversity of training data, model generalization to previously unseen data remains a challenging issue. Furthermore, the implementation of class weighting improved the model's ability to recognize minority-class instances, achieving a recall score of 92%. These findings demonstrate that architectural optimization and training strategies play a crucial role in improving the performance of Automatic Essay Scoring systems for the Indonesian language

Abstract

Automatic Short Answer Scoring (AES) is a Natural Language Processing (NLP) application designed to automatically assess short-answer responses. One of the primary challenges in developing AES systems is the limited size and diversity of available datasets, which can adversely affect a model’s generalization capability. Previous studies have demonstrated that Easy Data Augmentation (EDA) based on IndoBERT-generated synonyms can improve model performance on the UKARA dataset; however, this approach remains limited because the augmentation process is performed at the word level. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of Back Translation and IndoBERT-based Synonym EDA for Indonesian AES systems using the UKARA dataset. To ensure a fair comparison, the dataset, preprocessing procedures, FastText-based text representation, BiLSTM architecture, and evaluation methods were kept consistent across experiments, allowing performance differences to be attributed solely to the augmentation techniques. The experiments were conducted using both Non-K-Fold Evaluation and 3-Fold Cross-Validation scenarios. The results indicate that Back Translation outperformed IndoBERT-based Synonym EDA in most experimental settings, achieving the highest accuracy of 89.00% on Dataset A. Furthermore, the findings suggest that the quality and semantic diversity of the generated data have a greater impact on model performance than merely increasing the amount of training data. Therefore, Back Translation can serve as an effective alternative for enhancing dataset quality and improving the performance of Indonesian AES systems. Abstract

Beban administrasi akademik merupakan salah satu permasalahan utama yang dihadapi guru sekolah dasar, terutama terkait penyusunan dokumen perencanaan pembelajaran yang menuntut ketelitian, kesesuaian regulasi, dan waktu yang tidak sedikit. Kondisi ini mendorong perlunya pemanfaatan teknologi berbasis kecerdasan buatan sebagai solusi pendukung kerja administratif guru. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Wajo dalam memanfaatkan platform Brainys sebagai alat bantu administrasi akademik. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang melibatkan guru secara aktif melalui tahapan pre-test, eksplorasi permasalahan, penyampaian solusi, praktik langsung, serta refleksi melalui post-test dan diskusi kelompok Hasil pre-test terhadap 173 responden menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki intensitas beban administrasi yang tinggi dan telah mengenal teknologi AI, namun pemanfaatannya belum optimal dan terstandar. Setelah pelatihan, hasil post-test dan refleksi menunjukkan respons positif terhadap penggunaan Brainys, terutama dalam hal kemudahan penggunaan, kejelasan alur kerja, dan efisiensi penyusunan dokumen administrasi akademik. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pemanfaatan platform AI terintegrasi berpotensi mengurangi beban administrasi guru serta mendukung peningkatan efisiensi dan kualitas pengelolaan administrasi akademik di sekolah dasar.
