Abstract

Hypertension is one of the health disorders that can be fatal and is a leading cause of death worldwide, both in developed and developing countries. In Indonesia, hypertension ranks among the top ten causes of death, contributing 5.3%. According to the 2021 Riskesdas, the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is 34.1%, with 8.8% diagnosed and 13.3% undiagnosed. Health screening (MCU) results from workers at PT. X in 2023 showed that 13% of 138 workers had hypertension, and in May 2024, the prevalence increased to 20% among 120 workers. Although the increase is not significant, hypertension remains the second most common disease in the top ten list at PT. X in 2024. This study aims to identify factors associated with the occurrence of hypertension among office workers at PT. X in 2024. This is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The sample size used in this study is 90 workers, selected using a system random sampling technique. Data collection was performed using secondary data obtained from the MCU results in 2024. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test, which showed a significant relationship between age (p=0.000), family history (p=0.000), body mass index (BMI) (p=0.000), and stress (p=0.000) with the incidence of hypertension among office workers at PT. X. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that the company strengthen its health education efforts for all workers, especially those with a family history of hypertension, and enhance prevention programs by educating healthy lifestyle practices, maintaining an ideal weight according to BMI, and conducting monthly blood pressure checks.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology, along with post-pandemic changes, has transformed global work structures. Full-remote and hybrid work models remain widely implemented, offering both conveniences and challenges for employees. This study compares the quality of life and performance of full-remote and hybrid employees at Yayasan XYZ, South Jakarta. Using a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design, data were collected from 48 purposively sampled employees via questionnaires. The research results indicate that, based on the average scores obtained, full-remote employees exhibit a higher quality of life in the physical, psychological, and environmental domains, whereas hybrid employees excel in the social domain. The comparative analysis of quality of life revealed no significant differences between these two work models. In terms of performance, hybrid employees demonstrated higher productivity levels than full-remote employees, with an average score of 9.22 for full-remote and 9.64 for hybrid work models. However, the comparative analysis of performance also indicated no statistically significant differences between the two models. In conclusion, while there are variations in the experiences of employees working under full-remote and hybrid models, the comparative analysis confirms that there are no significant differences in terms of quality of life and performance between these two work models. The results of this study are expected to serve as a basis for Yayasan XYZ in formulating optimal work model policies to ensure employee well-being and productivity

Abstract

Kelelahan masih menjadi masalah di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia karena masih menjadi ancaman serius bagi kualitas hidup manusia. Kelelahan yang terjadi pada pengemudi ojek online akan sangat berpotensi menyebabkan gangguan fisik pada pengemudi. Gangguan fisik juga akan mengganggu aktivitas kerja yang dimana aktivitas kerja akan menjadi tidak optimal sehingga menurunnya kemampuan pengemudi dalam lingkungan sekitar. Hal tersebut yang membuat atau memicu banyaknya kecelakaan. Kelelahan menjadi salah satu penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas di Indonesia. Angka kecelakaan lalu lintas tahun 2021 mengalami peningkatan, kecelakaan lalu lintas yang melibatkan sepeda motor masih menjadi angka tertinggi. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kelelahan kerja pada pengemudi ojek online di Kota Bekasi tahun 2024. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross sectional. Analisis data secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi square. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu diperoleh melalui wawancara yang langsung kepada responden dengan instrumen berupa lembar kuesioner Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 50 responden (64,0%) mengalami kelelahan berat, 31 responden (36,0 %) mengalami kelelahan sedang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara kelelahan dengan usia dengan nilai p= 0,003 (p<0,05), lama tidur nilai p=0,040 (p<0,05), durasi kerja nilai p=0,001 (p<0,05) dan tidak ada hubungan antara kelelahan dengan status gizi dengan nilai p=0,746 (p>0,05), masa kerja nilai p=0,728 (p>0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut pengemudi ojek online perlu mempertimbangkan mengenai usia berisiko, waktu istirahat yang cukup serta waktu kerja yang baik untuk menghindari terjadinya kelelahan kerja.
