Abstract

The Sihobuk Peanuts MSME has great potential in business development, but still experiences obstacles in marketing activities that have not utilized information technology optimally, resulting in low competitiveness. This study aims to design and build a marketing information system to improve the competitiveness of the Sihobuk Peanuts MSME using a prototype method, where users are directly involved in the system development process. The resulting marketing information system is able to manage product data and promotional media digitally. The results of the study indicate that the system built can help expand marketing reach and increase promotional effectiveness, so it is expected to increase the competitiveness of the Sihobuk Peanuts MSME.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi penerimaan peserta didik baru berbasis website pada SMP Amal Luhur Medan. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mempermudah proses pendaftaran, seleksi, dan pengumuman hasil penerimaan peserta didik baru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi yang dibangun dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas proses penerimaan peserta didik baru. Sistem ini juga memberikan kemudahan akses bagi calon peserta didik dan orang tua dalam melakukan pendaftaran secara online. Dengan demikian, diharapkan sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada proses penerimaan peserta didik baru di SMP Amal Luhur Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Pelayanan Administrasi Kependudukan berbasis web pada Kantor Desa Helvetia. Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh masih dilakukannya proses administrasi kependudukan secara manual, uyang mneyababkan pelayanan menjadi lambat, kurang efisien, dan menyulitkan masyarakat karena harus dsatahg langsung ke kantor desa serta mrenunggu dalam antrian panjang. Pengembangan sisterm berbasis web diharapkan dapat mempercepat proses pencarian data, memudahkan pengelollan dokumen seperti akta kelahiran dan surat keterangan domisili, serta meningkatkan efisieni pelayanan administrasi kependudukan. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL, serta dilengkapi fitur pengelolaan data penduduk, penerbitan dokumen, pencarian data, dan pembuatan laporan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kuallitas pelayanan, memberikan kemudahan akses bagi masyarakat, serta membangun saluran komunikasi yang efektif antara masyarakat dan pihak desa, sehingga tercipta layanan administrasi yang trasnparan, efisien di lingkungan Kantor Desa Helvetia.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an entrance ticket application based on QR Code "TIQ" that can be used in Mangrove Tourism in Kota Pari Village. Kota Pari Village Mangrove Tourism is one of the popular tourist destinations that offers natural exploration and environmental education experiences. However, the admission system currently in use still uses manual methods that are prone to fraud and are time-consuming. Therefore, this research aims to introduce an efficient and safe QR Code-based admission ticket application. This research uses a software development method with the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. In the needs analysis stage, we conducted a survey of tourism visitors and management of Mangrove tourism in Pari City Village to understand the needs and obstacles that exist in the current entrance ticket system. Visitors can scan their QR Code when they arrive at the entrance, and the admission ticket information will be validated instantly by the system. The recorded entry ticket data will be stored in the database for monitoring and analysis purposes. The test results show that this QR Code-based admission ticket application can improve the efficiency and safety of the entrance ticket process at the Kota Pari Village Mangrove Tourism. Visitors can easily obtain their admission tickets and avoid long queues at the entrance. In addition, this system also reduces the potential for admission ticket fraud because each ticket has a unique code that is difficult to forge. This research contributes to the development of a technology-based admission ticket system in the tourism sector. This QR Code-based admission ticket application can be adopted by other tours to improve efficiency and visitor experience. In the end, it is hoped that this research can help improve the management and services in the Kota Pari Village Mangrove Tourism and provide better benefits for visitors and the local community.

Abstract

Mangrove forest conservation requires effective volunteer management and technological support. This study developed the Roveteer application, a specialized digital platform designed to optimize volunteer coordination and engagement in mangrove conservation efforts at Kota Pari Village. The research employed a user-centered design approach, integrating technological innovation with local ecological conservation needs. Through systematic analysis of volunteer management challenges, the application was developed to streamline recruitment, task allocation, tracking, and impact assessment of conservation activities. The Roveteer platform features include real-time volunteer registration, activity scheduling, performance monitoring, and geographical mapping of conservation zones. Prototype testing demonstrated the application's potential to enhance volunteer participation, improve communication efficiency, and provide data-driven insights into conservation efforts. Results indicated a 35% improvement in volunteer coordination and a 40% increase in documented conservation activities compared to traditional management methods. The Roveteer application represents a significant technological innovation in local environmental preservation, offering a replicable model for community-driven conservation technology that can be adapted to similar ecological contexts.

Abstract

This study focused on the implementation of the Despro (Village Promotion) application, a web-based platform utilizing crowdsourcing methods to promote the potential of villages, tourist attractions, products, and services in Pari City. The primary objective was to create an effective tool for local governments and village communities to showcase their natural resources, cultural heritage, and local products. The Despro application enables user participation by allowing volunteers to contribute promotional content, thus fostering community engagement. Key features of the application include comprehensive village profile pages, user-uploaded content (such as photos, videos, and stories), a content rating system, search and filtering functionalities, digital map integration for location display, and a messaging system for user interaction. Additionally, the application incorporates a structured 'Tasks' feature, divided into three stages—Preparation, Process, and Completion—to facilitate organized promotional activities. The research employed the waterfall model for software development, encompassing stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The results demonstrated that the Despro application effectively enhances the visibility of village potential in Pari City and significantly increases community involvement in rural tourism initiatives.

Abstract

Motor vehicle tax payment is a civic obligation; however, the level of taxpayer compliance remains relatively low due to limited information, insufficient motivation, and suboptimal utilization of digital services. This study aims to design a Motor Vehicle Tax Payment Management Information System integrated with a Lucky Draw feature as a gamification element to increase taxpayer interest and engagement. The design process employs a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach and utilizes Figma to produce a UI/UX design that is easy to understand and aligned with user needs.The research output is a visual prototype consisting of a homepage, registration form, admin dashboard, Lucky Draw spin feature, and reporting module. The design is evaluated based on usability, navigation, clarity of information, and visual consistency. The integration of the Lucky Draw feature provides additional motivation for taxpayers to fulfill their tax obligations in a timely manner. This study contributes a modern, user-oriented digital solution design that has the potential to enhance the effectiveness of tax services and improve taxpayer compliance.`

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi di tingkat pemerintahan desa merupakan kebutuhan fundamental guna merespons tuntutan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik dan transparansi data. Desa Sampe Cita, Kecamatan Kutalimbaru, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, telah memiliki infrastruktur Sistem Informasi Profil Desa (SID) berbasis web menggunakan framework Laravel. Namun, observasi menunjukkan pemanfaatannya belum optimal akibat keterbatasan literasi digital aparatur desa. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dirancang untuk memberikan pelatihan intensif dan pendampingan berkelanjutan guna memberdayakan perangkat desa. Pendekatan metodologis menggunakan Riset Aksi Kolaboratif melalui siklus analisis kebutuhan, sosialisasi, simulasi (hands-on), dan evaluasi (pre-test dan post-test). Hasil program menunjukkan lonjakan pemahaman peserta yang signifikan, di mana aparatur desa berhasil bertransformasi dari tingkat kebingungan awal menjadi level kompetensi operasional yang solid. Pelatihan ini berdampak langsung pada peningkatan efisiensi layanan kependudukan dan pembaruan data desa, memperkokoh fondasi tata kelola pemerintahan yang berlandaskan data (data-driven governance).
