Abstract

Pengetahuan tentang obat yang benar bisa dikatakan suatu hal yang penting. Dengan pengetahuan yang benar, masyarakat dapat memperoleh manfaat dari obat dan dapat mengurangi segala hal yang tidak di inginkan akibat pemakaian suatu obat. Sering terjadi Penyalahgunaan obat pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) karena kurangnya pengetahuan tentang obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai Pengetahuan dan sikap siswa tentang obat kepada siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kota Batam.Penelitian ini menggunakann metode penelitian Analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional, Penelitian analitik untuk mencari hubungan antar variabel. Metode Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Random Sampling Menggunakan instrumen Kuisioner. Hasil Analisis Data yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh Pengetahuan Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) tentang Obat termasuk kategori Baik dan Sikap Siswa Sekolah Menegah Atas (SMA) tentang Obat memiliki kategori yang positif. Dimana hasil untuk pengetahuan SMAN (89,9%) dan Sikap (97,0%), sedangkan pengetahuan SMAS pengetahuan (88,9%) dan sikap (98,8%). Hasil uji bivariat karakteristik dengan variabel pengetahuan di dapatkan hasil bahwa SMAN karakteristik kelas,jurusan, jenis kelamin memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan varibel pengetahuan, dan memiliki hubungan yang bermakna karakteristik jenis kelamin dengan variabel sikap sedangkan untuk SMAS memiliki hubungan yang bermakna antara jenis kelamin, kelas dengan pengetahuan dan memiliki hubungan yang bermakna antara kelas dengan Sikap.

Abstract

Soil Transmissible Helminthiasis (STH) is still a public health problem in countries with tropical and sub-tropical climates, including Indonesia. The prevalence of worms in Indonesia currently ranges from 20-86 percent with an average of 30 percent. This frequently occurring disease really disrupts children's growth and development. Worm control efforts are directed at breaking the chain of transmission of worms, namely the toddler and school age groups, with 1 ) administer medicationmass prevention of worms in vulnerable groups to stop the spread of worm eggs from sufferers to the surrounding environment, 2) improving sanitation hygiene, and 3) cultivating clean and healthy living behavior through health promotion. Through this community service activity, socialization activities on the use and administration of worm medicine have been implemented. In Toddlers at Posyandu Bougenville IV, Tiban Baru. This activity is useful for children under five so that they always receive worm medicine and socialize and increase mothers' understanding about how important it is to give worm medicine to toddlers. Activities to socialize the use and administration of worm medicine to toddlers can increase public knowledge. There are still some people, especially mothers with toddlers, who rarely give them worm medicine.

Abstract

Cold powder is a mixture of starch with fragrant ingredients, sometimes added with moisturizing, ultraviolet light blocking and antiseptic ingredients in the form of small dry granules, having a color and aroma according to its composition. The main raw material in the process of making cold powder is rice flour. The function of rice flour is to soften the skin. The stages of making cold powder are mixing the ingredients, rolling, and drying. The aim of this community service activity is to introduce the benefits of natural ingredients such as rice flour and turmeric in overcoming facial skin beauty problems and empowering the community in producing simple turmeric cold powder products in order to implement the Creative Economy program in the RT 02 community of Bulang Lintang village. The method used is through demonstration. The results of the activity show that the community is able to make their own B-Cool cold powder in order to implement the Creative Economy program.

Abstract

Vitamin A was the first fat-soluble vitamin to be discovered. This finding states that all retinoids and precursors/provitamin A/carotenoids have biological activity as retinol. Vitamin A plays an important role in children's growth and development. Vitamin A deficiency (KVA) increases the risk of developing infectious diseases such as diarrhea, pneumonia, pneumonia and even death. Another most serious consequence of vitamin A deficiency (KVA) is night blindness, which is another form of xeropthalmia such as damage to the cornea and blindness. Vitamin A can increase the body's resistance to infectious diseases such as measles, diarrhea and ARI and has a very important role in eye health.
