Aging is a natural process that every human undergoes, marking the final phase of life. Common issues among the elderly include declining sleep quality and fluctuations in blood pressure, which can significantly impact overall health. Research has shown that exercise combining movement with easily listenable music can positively affect blood pressure, improve sleep quality, and enhance balance in older adults. This study aims to analyze differences in blood pressure, sleep quality, and balance in the elderly following an exercise intervention. An institutional-based intervention design was used, providing integrative traditional exercise therapy to elderly groups in Pangkalpinang City. A total of 50 elderly participants were selected based on predetermined criteria and divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group participated in an 8-week traditional exercise program called Senam Bedincak, a local exercise from Bangka Island, while the control group continued their usual activities. Post-intervention assessments measured sleep quality, blood pressure, and balance using questionnaires and observation sheets. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test showed that the independent t-test for sleep quality resulted in a p-value of 0.000 (p 0.05), indicating a significant difference before and after the intervention in the experimental group.

Disasters are a series of events that disrupt and threaten social life with natural and non-natural causes (human factors) resulting in loss of life, property damage, and psychological impacts. One of the obstacles to overcoming health problems in disaster areas is the lack of knowledge and disaster management skills from nurses and other health workers which has an impact on poor health services. This thing gives the public the impression that medical and nursing personnel are late in responding to all disaster events. The absence of disaster learning during lectures causes graduated nurses to not have adequate knowledge and skills. Tabletop Disaster Exercise (TDE) is one Media to measure preparedness in disaster management by the reactions of training participants through scenarios. Thus, this research aims to determine Tabletop Disaster Exercise (TDE) Simulation Media to Increase Students' Triage Knowledge of Disaster Victims. The Ministry of Health Pangkalpinang Health Polytechnic is one of the higher vocational education institutions having a Nursing study program whose vision is to produce competitive nurse graduates in the emergency field. Students are expected to be equipped with knowledge about providing basic life support and the ability to deal with disasters. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group pre-test and post-test design. The population included all nursing students at the Pangkalpinang Health Polytechnic, with a sample size of 60 respondents identified through non-probability purposive sampling. The sample was divided into two groups: a control group of 30 respondents and a treatment group of 30 respondents. The research instrument was a questionnaire administered before and after the intervention. Mechanical ventilation is a positive and negative pressure breathing aid that maintains and improves oxygen ventilation in long-term positions. One of the impacts of the ventilation Mechanism is constipation. Constipation can hinder the weaning process; management of non-pharmacological constipation is by performing abdominal massage intervention. This study aims to describe the use of abdominal massage in the treatment of constipation in patients undergoing mechanical ventilation in the ICU. Case studies were used in this study, using the approach of nurses who provide care. The Results show that in client 1, where no abdominal distension was found (score 5), no mass was felt on the rectal (score 5), peristaltic increased from Which No heard became 19 x/ minute (score 5), and the Chapter on day 3 (score 4) with soft and solid stool consistency (score 5). Client 2 with results showing no distension of the abdomen (score 5), no palpable mass in the rectum (score 5), intestinal peristalsis increased from 5x/minute to 23x/ minute (score 5), and defecation on the day to 3 (score 4) with consistency of feces soft and solid (score 5). The application of massage to the abdomen improves fecal elimination in constipated patients with mechanical ventilation installed in the ICU. Healthcare institutions should foster a culture that supports the integration of complementary therapies into standard nursing practices. This could involve developing guidelines and protocols for the use of massage therapy in various clinical settings, thereby standardizing care practices and ensuring that all patients receive the benefits of such interventions.

Introduction. One of the essential competencies for nursing students is the ability to determine the location of myocardial infarction in cases of Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). This learning material is considered complex; therefore, specific strategies are needed to help students understand it more easily. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Einthoven triangle illustration in improving nursing students’ ability to identify the location of myocardial infarction. Methods. This study employed a one-group pre-test post-test design with a population of nursing students from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University. The study included seventh-semester nursing students with active enrollment who had no prior education or training in infarction localization. A total of 50 respondents were randomly selected. The Einthoven triangle illustration served as the independent variable, and the ability to determine the location of myocardial infarction served as the dependent variable. Data were collected using a test sheet and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test with a significance level of α = 0.05. Results. There was a twofold improvement in students’ ability to identify infarction sites before and after being taught using the Einthoven triangle method (median = 2 vs. 4). The Einthoven triangle illustration was proven effective in enhancing nursing students’ ability to determine the location of myocardial infarction (p = 0.000). Conclusion. To effectively deliver complex learning materials, it is essential to present them in simplified formats—such as diagrams, animated videos, or other visual aids—to facilitate students’ understanding.
