Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of rumor dissemination and information equivocality on discontinuance behavior when influencers face negative rumors. As an influencer's follower count decreases, their credibility weakens, thereby reducing the effectiveness of product representation through brand ambassadors. The study adopted a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling criteria, comprising a total sample size of 191 participants. The test results indicate that rumor dissemination does not significantly affect social media fatigue, while information equivocality does influence it. Additionally, the study demonstrates a positive association between rumor dissemination, information equivocality, and discontinuance behavior. Social media fatigue does not mediate the effect of rumor dissemination on discontinuance behavior; however, information equivocality partially mediates this relationship. The study highlights the relevance of the agenda-setting theory when influencers face negative rumors and information equivocality. In conclusion, negative rumors contribute to a decrease in followers due to rumor dissemination and information equivocality on social media.

Despite this, a gap exists in understanding the role of internet information, necessitating further investigation.  Methodology – The study utilizes a quantitative, causal research approach with a questionnaire survey involving 151 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is employed for data analysis. Findings – The study reveals that positive user experience encourages product switching, while user satisfaction has a negative effect with the intention to switch. Additionally, internet information moderates the impact of user satisfaction, offering insights into users' product-switching tendencies. Satisfied users are more likely to exhibit loyalty. Originality – The research explores the environmentally aware younger generation's reliance on the internet for information exchange and presents results on consumer behavior with alternative eco-friendly products.

Abstract

A company that is undergoing a transition period often faces employee work behavior that does not support the achievement of company goals. In this service partner, employees show minimal work behavior, lack of innovation, lack of energy, and lack of initiative. These emerging behaviors illustrate disengagement behavior that affects company performance. This condition makes it difficult for companies to carry out existing business strategies. The company needs a way to increase employee engagement in the process of implementing company strategies that support the achievement of company goals/performance. To overcome these problems, the service team uses the "Employee Engagement Driving Program" as an effort to optimize employee performance. The purpose of this service is to help companies to be able to encourage their employees to have high engagement, so as to improve company performance. There are three methods in this program, namely, engagement training, group coaching, and individual counseling. This service is attended by supervisors who will encourage their team to be more engaged at work and in the company. The result of this program is the supervisor's ability to create goals and action plans to advance his team and correlate with the work behavior shown. Outputs in the service are articles in the mass media, video highlights, and scientific articles.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of corporate strategy as a mediating influence between unique capabilities and environmental turbulence on the performance of Legal Entity Universities (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Berbadan Hukum - PTNBH university). Corporate strategy is important in supporting unique capabilities and environmental volatility to achieve performance. The population of this study were leaders at the PTNBH University in Central Java. The sample collection technique uses purposive sampling, namely data collection, by considering the criteria: it is a state university with a legal entity, and it has been active in structural positions for at least 1 year. The number of samples was a total of 109 respondents. The results found that unique capabilities do not directly influence university performance but directly influence corporate strategy, and environmental turbulence directly influences corporate performance and strategy. The unique capabilities possessed by universities are good capital in the increasingly fierce competition because they can be used to develop higher education strategies. The results of indirect testing (mediation) show that corporate strategy plays a mediating role between unique capabilities and environmental turbulence on the performance of PTNBH University. Future researchers can combine or add other predictor variables to generalize this research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of net profit margin and return on assets on profit growth by adding firm size as a moderating variable in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study comprises property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023. The sampling technique is determined using purposive sampling based on criteria set by the researchers, resulting in a sample of 52 property and real estate companies. Panel data regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA) are used to analyze the data. The results of this study indicate that the net profit margin variable does not affect profit growth, while return on assets has a significant effect on profit growth. Furthermore, firm size can moderate the effect of net profit margin on profit growth. However, firm size cannot moderate the effect of return on assets on profit growth. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that future researchers can add other factors that may influence profit growth. In selecting moderating variables, it is hoped that future researchers will choose appropriate moderating variables to strengthen profit growth.
