Abstract

Consumer health awareness has increased recently, this is evidenced by the desire to consume herbal products. Today’s packaged colds jamu become a practical alternative for consumers to continue taking herbal medicines that are easy to obtain. This study aims to examine the influence of brand image, brand trust and product packaging information on the purchase decision of packaged cold herbs. This quantitative study applied purposive random sampling by using PLS-SEM 3.0 as statistic tools with questionnaire filled by 100 respondents. This article delivers a substantial effect to significant variables in purchasing decision. The results show that brand image does not directly influence purchasing decisions, but is fully mediated by brand trust. On the other hand, packaging information has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Pembelian kompulsif saat ini telah menjadi perilaku konsumen untuk memodifikasi perasaan menjadi lebih baik. Hedonisme dan materialisme terkait dengan produk yang dibeli konsumen secara berulang dan dalam jumlah banyak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh hedonisme dan materialisme terhadap kecenderungan pembelian kompulsif di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan 110 sampel yang diperoleh melalui purposive sampling. Analisis penelitian menggunakan regresi berganda dengan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hedonisme dan materialisme berpengaruh positif terhadap kecenderungan pembelian kompulsif. Secara parsial, hedonisme berpengaruh signifikan, sedangkan materialisme tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kecenderungan pembelian kompulsif.  Kata Kunci : Hedonisme, Materialisme, Pembelian Kompulsif

Abstract

The exploration of employee performance in social entrepreneurship has gained increasing relevance among researchers, particularly in rural economic. Previous research has not explored much of the role of work motivation in strengthening job training and work incentives on employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of job training and work incentives on employee performance and elaborate on work motivation as a moderating variable. This research respondents were all employees working in Kampung Marketer with a total sample of 161 people. Data collected by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis technique employs moderated analysis regression, preceded by a validity test, a reliability test and a classic assumption test. The results showed that job training has a positive and significant effect on the employee performance of employees. Work incentives have an insignificant impact on the performance of employees. Motivation can reduce the effect of job training and enervate work incentive toward employee performance. Research results represent that work incentives essential to generate employee performance; otherwise, higher motivation can emerge negatively and influence employee performance. The research is beneficial to manage human resource and deliver cutting-edge insight in managing employee.

Abstract

This purpose study is examines the effect of product knowledge and product involvement toward purchase decision on herbal medicine catches a cold packaging. This study was conducted based on quantitative approach. Data collected using online survey and involved 121 respondents. Data analysis was employed using ANOVA. The results of this study revealed that the effect of product knowledge significant positively toward purchase decision on herbal medicine catches a cold packaging. The effect of product involvement significant positively toward purchase decision on herbal medicine catches a cold packaging so.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine the effect of work overload and resilience on organizational citizenship behavior through organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The population in this study were education staff of Universitas Negeri Semarang, the number is 774. The sampling technique used in this study was proportionate random sampling technique with a sample of 135 employees. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, observations, interviews, and literature. Methods of data analysis using descriptive statistical tests and SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that work overload had no significant effect on organizational commitment and OCB. Resilience has a significant effect on organizational commitment and OCB. Organizational commitment also has a significant influence on OCB. Meanwhile, organizational commitment has no significant effect in mediating the relationship of work overload on OCB. Then organizational commitment has a significant effect in mediating the relationship of resilience on OCB. The theoretical suggestion for further research is to be able to expand the sample, such as for employees of profit-oriented manufacturing companies. Then practical advice for employees and universities in order to interpret OCB as positive behavior and encourage the implementation of OCB in the workplace to increase organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

Religiosity remains a black box in educational research; only a few studies conducted regarding religiosity. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine some variables on students’ religiosity. This article attempts to determine the influence of attitude, injunctive norm, moral norm, and perceived behavioral control on student's ethical behavioral intention through religiosity. There were 273 education students from several higher education in Indonesia participated in this study. Questionnaire was used to collect data, while path analysis was used to analyze the data. The results found that injunctive norm, perceived behavioral control, and religiosity directly affected the intention of ethical behavioral. Besides, there was no direct effect between attitude and moral norms and the intention of ethical behavioral. Then, religiosity competent to become the intervening variable of attitude, injunctive norm, moral norm, perceived behavioral control on ethical behavioral intention. The paper can explain the black box that found attitude of a student was influenced by their religiosity or faith and belief. Other than attitude and moral norms, the stronger the religiosity could help students to create a good behavior.

Abstract

Kinerja organisasi terbentuk melalui keefektifan kerja tim. Peran penting pencapaian keefektifan kerja tim dibentuk salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan fleksibilitas teknologi. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk menganalisis peran penting adaptasi dan kecakapan dalam memediasi pengaruh fleksibilitas teknologi terhadap keefektifan kerja tim. Penelitian mempergunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 114 responden. Kriteria responden adalah individu yang bekerja dalam sebuah tim akuntansi. Pemilihan sampel didasarkan atas kriteria individu yang bekerja dalam bidang akuntansi membutuhkan kolaborasi koordinasi dan pengambilan keputusan bersama,, sehingga dituntut untuk mampu bekerja dalam tim. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adaptasi dan kecakapan terbukti memediasi secara penuh pengaruh fleksibilitas teknologi terhadap keefektifan tim. Adaptasi dan kecakapan berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap keefektifan tim. Dapat disimpulkan adaptasi dan kecakapan adalah faktor penting yang dalam organisasi, sehingga dibutuhkan untuk mempertahankan dan mendorong keefektifan kerja tim. Implikasi penelitian adalah organisasi diharapkan menciptakan kemampuan adaptasi dan kecakapan kerja dengan pelatihan yang terjadwal secara konsisten untuk membentuk keefektifan tim.

Abstract

PT PELNI builds online system ticket sales as a solution to improve its services. The purpose of this study is to analyze the procedure for online ticket sales at PT PELNI and formulate strategies that should be selected companies in the implementation of the system using a SWOT analysis diagram. Purposive sampling conducted to obtain a respondent answer. The sample in this study was 12 employees of PT PELNI Semarang, 16 ticket sales agents, each agent as many as three people. This study employs primary and secondary data to analyze. Methods of data collection using questionnaires. PT PELNI’s strategy was adding branch office and ticket sales agents. Whether also expanded marketing networks and socialization systems online. It would be market segmentation in cooperation with PT POS in purchasing tickets ship online. Also could perform integrated communication between the PT PELNI center, a branch, and sales agents for make improvements of the online system’s way to organize and strengthen the existing network, purchasing tickets through the PT PELNI’s website.

Abstract

Pencapaian target kinerja pegawai merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam organisasi. Ketika pegawai mencapai target kinerja yang telah ditetapkan maka mengindikasikan bahwa kemampuan dan kompetensi pegawai sebanding dengan target yang telah ditetapkan. Digitalisasi teknologi adalah salah satu tantangan dalam pelaksaan pekerjaan, pada satu sisi akan mempermudah pencapaian target kinerja, pada sisi yang lain membutuhkan kemampuan adaptasi pegawai. Penelitian ini menganalisis secara mendalam pengaruh intensifikasi kerja digital dan spesifikasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai yang dimoderasi oleh efikasi diri. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melibatkan sampel penelitian yang bekerja pada organisasi yang mengalami dinamika dalam perkembangan teknologi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan instrumen kuesioner dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 104 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensifikasi kerja digital berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai. Selain itu, penelitian ini telah membuktikan bahwa spesifikasi kerja memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan kinerja pegawai. Efikasi diri memiliki pengaruh yang esensial untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, sehingga dengan adanya efikasi diri maka intensifikasi kerja digital dan spesifikasi kerja memiliki pengaruh lebih besar.

Abstract

There are two research approaches, quantitative and qualitative. The quantitative approach is primarily designated in social research because it is convenient in data collection; while qualitative research is rarely used, only limited researchers understand its advantages. Qualitative software is not familiar to researchers because there are several reasons behind it; therefore, training in using qualitative research software is needed; one of the well-known software is Nvivo. The Nvivo software training was conducted and aimed at students of Postgraduate Degree Study Program at Universitas Negeri Semarang. The training is conducted online by explaining the basics of a qualitative approach, the validity of data, and data processing using the software. Participants were given steps to interpret the data using Nvivo software. The training results show that students have an interest and ability in using qualitative software that can be used to support research activities to complete the final project. The success of the training is measured by the feedback obtained after training to strengthen qualitative research using Nvivo software. The measurement results show that students are satisfied and have increased skills following the training objectives
