Abstract

ABSTRAK Artikel ini menganalisis bagaimana mengaplikasikan teori kognitif Bruner dalam pengajaran matematika berdasar teori pembelajaran penemuan. Melalui analisis pembelajaran kasus matematika, tujuan dari pengajaran matematika adalah untuk memungkinkan siswa menguasai struktur pengetahuan matematika secara komprehensif. Guru matematika harus aktif menciptakan kondisi dalam mengajar, dan membimbing siswa untuk menemukan dan belajar aktivitas langsung, pemikiran dan representasi. Dari akuisisi pasif pengetahuan menjadi penemuan aktif mandiri, sehingga siswa menjadi objek utama belajar matematika. Kata kunci : Kognitif Bruner,  Teori Belajar, Pembelajaran Matematika ABSTRACT This article analyzes how to apply Bruner's cognitive theory of discovery in teaching based on learning theory. Through the analysis of mathematics case learning, the aim of teaching mathematics is to help students master mathematical knowledge comprehensively. Mathematics teachers must actively create conditions in teaching, and guide students to discover and learn direct activity, thinking and representation. Abstract

The main focus in the global arena is the issue of competition, one of the competitions in it is the world of education. It is not only the responsibility of religious education that plays a role in printing and preparing future generations called the modern Islamic generation, but all educators have a moral responsibility to prepare a good generation, and have high integrity in religion. The ability to manage change, the ability to act, the ability to process all information globally, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, interpersonal skills are the parts that must be prepared to play a role as a teacher, including a teacher in the field of mathematics studies. Some of these competencies must be taught, delivered to students during the learning process. In this research activity, the focus is on the role of educators, especially mathematics education teachers, as an effort to prepare a generation that will enter the community as part of a society that has the power of religion, namely Islam. More than that, it is functioned to increase human resources (HR) who are able to carry out the principles of Islamic teachings in the midst of a rapidly developing society in technology. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tahapan pemecahan masalah matematika menurut teori Wankat dan Oreovocz yang dilakukan oleh siswa SMK dengan kemampuan matematika sedang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek satu orang siswa kelas X SMK PGRI 13 Surabaya yang dipilih melalui tes kemampuan matematika dan hasil konsultasi dengan guru. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes kemampuan matematika, tugas pemecahan masalah, pedoman wawancara, dan triangulasi waktu. Data diperoleh melalui dua tahap: pengerjaan tugas pemecahan masalah dan wawancara semi-terstruktur berdasarkan pekerjaan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek dapat melalui ketujuh tahapan pemecahan masalah menurut Wankat dan Oreovocz, yaitu: (1) Saya mampu atau bisa, menunjukkan motivasi dan keyakinan menyelesaikan soal; (2) Mendefinisikan masalah, subjek mampu mengidentifikasi informasi penting dari soal; (3) Mengeksplorasi, subjek dapat memahami tujuan dari soal; (4) Merencanakan, subjek mampu memodelkan masalah menjadi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel (SPLTV); (5) Mengerjakan, subjek menyelesaikan SPLTV secara sistematis; (6) Mengoreksi kembali, subjek melakukan pengecekan melalui substitusi; dan (7) Generalisasi, subjek dapat menyimpulkan hasil dengan tepat. Hasil triangulasi menunjukkan konsistensi strategi dan pemahaman subjek dalam dua soal serupa yang diberikan pada waktu berbeda. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teori Wankat dan Oreovocz dapat digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan tahapan pemecahan masalah pada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematika sedang.

Abstract

ABSTRACTClassroom Action Research (PTK) is research that aims to identify learning problems in the classroom so that appropriate solutions are obtained to realize effective learning. PTK has now become a requirement for teacher professional development. However, teachers at SDN Kedungcowek are less capable in making PTK. This prompted the community service team to hold PTK training for teachers at the school. This training consists of three stages, the first stage is planning, at this stage the community service team coordinates with partners, the second stage carries out training, and the third stage, reflection. At this stage, the community service team measures participants' understanding of the training provided. As a result, most participants had a moderate understanding of the PTK training provided by the community service team. This is shown by the majority of teachers choosing a score of 3 for each indicator on the questionnaire distributed after the training.Keywords: teacher, profession, developmentABSTRAKPenelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) adalah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah pembelajaran di kelas sehingga didapatkan solusi yang tepat untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran yang efektif. PTK kini telah menjadi syarat untuk pengembangan profesi guru. Hanya saja, di guru di SDN Kedungcowek kurang mampu dalam membuat PTK. Hal ini membuat tim abdimas untuk mengadakan pelatihan PTK bagi para guru di sekolah tersebut. Pelatihan ini terdiri dari tiga tahap, tahap pertama yaitu perencanaan, pada tahap ini tim abdimas melakukan kordinasi dengan mitra, tahap kedua melakukan pelatihan, dan tahap ketiga, refleksi. Pada tahap ini, tim abdimas mengukur keterpahaman peserta mengenai pelatihan yang diberikan. Hasilnya, sebagian besar peserta memiliki pemahaman sedang terhadap pelatihan PTK yang diberikan oleh tim abdimas. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari sebagian besar guru memilih skor 3 untuk setiap indikator pada angket yang dibagikan seusai pelatihanKata Kunci: guru, profesi, pengembangan

Abstract

This research is an ethnomathematics-based worksheet development research on East Sumba woven materials on geometric transformations. The purposes of this study were 1) To find out the steps for developing Student Worksheets (LKS) with ethnomathematics-based geometry transformation material: East Sumba weaving using the ADDIE design. 2) To find out the feasibility of developing Student Worksheets (LKS) with ethnomathematics-based geometry transformation material: East Sumba weaving uses the ADDIE design. This research is a development research (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, this research only reached the Development stage because it was adjusted to the research objective, namely to determine the feasibility of worksheets. At the Analysis stage, the researcher conducted a needs analysis, curriculum analysis. At the Design stage the researcher designed the LKS. At the Development stage the researcher develops worksheets and validates experts, namely media experts and material experts. The average percentage of expert validation results is 88.46%, which means that the student worksheet (LKS) based on ethnomathematics woven in East Sumba is very feasible.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore education in Finland as a lesson learned in education in Indonesia. The research method used is literature review. This study examines various books, references and similar previous research results that are useful for obtaining and collecting all information relevant to the problem being studied. The results ofthe study showed that Finland's education journey was very long and all sectors studied had developed very well. The history of education, educational philosophy, education system, curriculum, teacher education, education management, and education qualityof Finnish education have been at the highest level. This is used as a lesson learned for the development of education in Indonesia to overcome various weaknesses in various sectors

Abstract

This study aims to produce a learning design to increase numeracy literacy and critical thinking character of elementary school students based on ethnomathematics using Polya's problem-solving steps. This type of research is library research. The results showed that Polya's problem-solving steps can be used to design learning syntax as follows. Polya's first step is to understand the problem of producing a learning design menu, let's get to know culture, learn to get flat, and learn numeracy through films or videos from the MK Modul NusantaraMBKM Dr Soetomo University. The second step is polya learning planning to produce a learning design menu for identifying flat shapes based on the questions in learning numeracy with number content, geometry & measurement, algebra, and data & uncertainty. The third step is to implement the lesson plan, produce a learning design menu, let's develop alternative answers. The fourth step is to reflect on learning to produce a learning design menu, let's reflect. Increasing numeracy literacy and critical thinking character can be built on the first, second, third and fourth steps of solving Polya's problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in various cooperative learning models such as the Jigsaw type, the STAD type, and the GI type. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The sample consisted of three classes, namely class 7A subjected to treatment I, class 7B was subjected to treatment II, and class 7C to treatment III, sampling was carried out using cluster sampling technique. Data collection techniques using the method of tests and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used Kruskal Wallis non-parametric statistics. The results of data analysis resulted in 5 different hypotheses. The first hypothesis is the value of Asym Sig. 0.000 < 0.05, the second hypothesis obtained the value of Asym Sig. 0.000 < 0.05, the third hypothesis obtained the Asym Sig value. 0.280 is greater than 0.05, the fourth hypothesis is obtained by the Asym Sig value. 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 and the last hypothesis is the Asym Sig value. 0.006 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study entitled Effectiveness of Using Video Learning Media to Improve Mathematical Literacy in Bethel Christian Middle School Surabaya. This study aims to describe and analyze culture-based videos in improving mathematical literacy on square, triangleand quadrilateral material at Bhetel Christian Junior High School Surabaya in the 2021/2022 even semester. The method used is the research method used in this study is a Pre-Experimental Design using the One-group Pretest-Postet design form. In this design there is a pretest before being given treatment and a posttest after being given treatment. Data analysis itself uses normality test, paired sample t-test, Wilcoxon test, N-Gain test. From the results of the Wilcoxon test that has been carried out, it can be seen that the significance value is 0.001 so there is a difference in the average results of the pretest and posttest of the two samples of mathematical literacy and critical thinking of junior high school students. It can be concluded that the results of mathematical literacy and critical thinking of junior high school students towards culture-based videos can increase. From the results of the N-Gain test that has been carried out, which occupies a playing score of 0.4488, which means that culture-based videos are quite effective in improving mathematical literacy and critical thinking of junior high school students.

Abstract

Pengetahuan pedagogik dapat didefinisikan sebagai kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh guru untuk mendukung keberhasilan peserta didik bukan hanya menguasai materi saja melainkan cara mengajar. Mathematics Pedagogical Content Knowledge (MPCK) adalah pengetahuan guru terkait kemampuan pedagogik dalam matematika. MPCK merupakan pengetahuan yang harus dikuasai oleh mahasiswa calon guru matematika sebelum ia mengajar di sekolah. MPCK terdiri dari tiga subdomain, yaitu pengetahuan kurikuler, pengetahuan tentang perencanaan atau pemilihan kegiatan belajar mengajar matematika yang sesuai dan penggunaan matematika. MPCK ini diberikan pada mahasiswa calon guru matematika saat mereka menempuh mata kuliah pembelajaran mikro. Sayangnya, banyak mahasiswa calon guru di prodi pendidikan matematika masih rendah. Hal itu nampak dari pembelajaran mikro yang dilakukan, kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa calon guru belum sesuai dengan standart yang dinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesripsikan MPCK mahasiswa calon guru matematika secara kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes MPCK yang dikembangkan berdasarkan tiga subdomain di atas. Jawaban Mahasiswa akan dikategorikan menjadi empat kategori, benar keseluruhan, benar sebagian, jawaban salah, dan tidak ada jawaban. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa calon guru matematika yang yang telah lulus mata kuliah pembelajaran mikro atau praktik pengalaman lapangan. Hasilnya adalah berupa deskripsi secara kuantitatif berupa presentase kategori jawaban mahasiswa calon guru matematika yang meliputi benar secara keseluruhan, benar sebagian, jawaban salah, dan kosong.
