Abstract

Maringkik Island is one of the small islands in Keruak District, East Lombok Regency which offers natural, cultural and artificial tourist attractions. However, tourism development on Maringkik Island has not been running massively due to concerns about the erosion of local community values and norms. So the development of halal tourism is an alternative tourism development that is in accordance with the beliefs and rules that apply to the local community. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection methods obtained through observations and interviews with the management of tourism awareness groups and the village government to explore the potential for developing Maringkik Island as a halal tourism destination as seen from the variables and dimensions of halal tourism and the availability of 4A (Attractions, Accessibility, Amenity, Ansilari) on Maringkik Island. The results of this study found that Maringkik Island needs to implement policies or rules for tourists, provide tourism options and provide facilities that support halal tourism activities from various variables and dimensions of halal tourism destinations

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penyusunan artikel yaitu menganalisis potensi daya tarik wisata kuliner di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). Kajian ini merupakan kajian awal dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data yang gunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka, sedangkan untuk analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil kajian yang dilakukan, adapun potensi kuliner lokal dari 3 suku di NTB yaitu Sasak, Samawa, dan Mbojo yang dapat digunakan sebagai daya tarik wisata antara lain Singang, Sayur Ares, Sate Bulayak, Ayam Taliwang, Plecing Kangkung, Sepat, Uta Palumara Londe, Mangge Mada, Nasi Balap Puyung, Ayam Rarang, Sate Pencok, Doco Fo’o, dan aneka jajanan seperti Jaje Ore, Kue Bantal, Kue Keciput, Kelepon Kecerit, Kue Tarek, dan Kue Keong. Berdasarkan potensi tersebut, diharapkan keterlibatan dari unsur pemerintah maupun pihak terkait dalam mempromosikan potensi kuliner yang dimiliki agar dapat diketahui oleh banyak orang dan mampu menarik banyak wisatawan untuk berkunjung.

Abstract

Batu Kumbung comprises one of the many Tourism Villages located within the Lingsar District of West Lombok Regency. Among the various tourist attractions on offer, visitors can enjoy horticultural tourism, fisheries, cultural experiences, creative arts, handicrafts, ecotourism, and agricultural experiences. These include Tirta Tourism Village, Cultural Tourism Village, Mina Tourism Village, Arts Tourism Village, Agricultural Tourism Village, Ecotourism Village, Craft Tourism Village, and Agro Tourism Village. The objective of this project is to promote a variety of tourism options in each of the village's hamlets, focusing on their unique characteristics. To support the development of a creative economy-based tourism village, a comprehensive study is required. This study employed qualitative methods by collecting data through field observations, interviews, and literature studies. The findings illustrated that the Batu Kumbung tourism village development model features various tourist attractions, including swimming pool tours and processed catfish delicacies such as shredded catfish, catfish skin crackers, and catfish nuggets. These attractions are capable of drawing tourists from distant regions and visitors from NTB. The creative economy of Batu Kumbung tourism village could encompass approximately 90 UMKM players hailing from the village itself, with 60 of these participants actively engaged in the development of Batu Kumbung tourism village.

Abstract

The Malioboro area is an icon of Yogyakarta tourism as well as a cultural heritage and an economic center which makes it always crowded with visitors. The large number of uncontrolled space users makes Malioboro often reported as an inaccessible area for tourists, especially people with disabilities. Even though according to Tourism Act of Indonesia No. 10 2009 states that tourists with special needs have the right to receive services according to their needs. Therefore, research related to accessibility for persons with disabilities in the Malioboro area is needed to find out the fulfilment of the rights of tourists with special needs in the area. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of literature studies, observation and documentation. While data analysis was carried out by comparing the facts found in the field with the theory of accessibility of the urban environment and cultural heritage. The results of the study show that accessibility indicators in the form of parking areas, vertical movement, public hygiene facilities and prices are available. While the indicators for communication, signage and horizontal movement facilities have not met the indicators. Based on these findings, the Malioboro area is accessible for general tourists but not yet fully accessible for persons with disabilities.

Abstract

Tete Batu is one of the tourist villages in East Lombok Regency that offers tourist attractions of natural beauty, culture, and local traditions that have developed and are expected to be able to become sustainable activities. However, in its implementation, tourism development can also pose challenges related to sustainable tourism development from various aspects, such as community involvement, economic progress, socio-cultural sustainability, and environmental conservation efforts. This research aims to examine the development of sustainable tourism in Tete Batu by analyzing the potential of sustainable tourism in Tete Batu using SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges faced in realizing sustainable tourism in this region. The results of this study found that there are strengths, and weaknesses internally as well as the existence of opportunities and threats in the development of tourism in Tete Batu, especially in the awareness and involvement of local communities and how to maintain the surrounding environment, so that efforts are needed to increase awareness and involvement as well as the ability of the community as human resources who are directly involved in tourism activities, besides that a comprehensive policy is needed related to efforts to preserve the environment and the lifestyle of local people in maintaining the surrounding environment both in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. This research is expected to be a reference for implementation recommendations or policies in tourism activities to maximize the benefits of sustainable tourism development for the community, managers, and government as a policy regulator.

Abstract

Tourism is currently a strategic sector in supporting economic and social development, especially in rural areas. One of the emerging approaches is the development of tourism villages based on community participation. Homestays as a form of community accommodation have an important role in providing authentic tourism experiences and supporting the welfare of villagers. However, in Mekar Sari Tourism Village, Central Lombok, the quality of homestay management still faces challenges, such as low service standards, limited facilities, and lack of innovation in services. In response to these conditions, this service activity was carried out through intensive training aimed at increasing the capacity of homestay managers in aspects of management, excellent service, and service development based on local potential. The training method was conducted in a participatory manner through interactive lectures, practical demonstrations, group discussions, and reflections. The results showed an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of service standards and the emergence of additional service initiatives such as cooking classes and cultural tours. This activity not only provides an initial impact on strengthening community capacity, but also strengthens collective awareness in building a sustainable and competitive tourism village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui partisipasi perempuan dalam pengembangan KEK Mandalika Kuta Kebupaten Lombok Tengah memerlukan kajian yang mendalam sehingga penelitian ini diperlukan adapun tujuan dan manfaatnya adalah untuk menganalisismodal manusia kaum perempuan, level partisispasi perempuan dalam pengembangan KEK Mandalika. Manfaat Secara teoritis hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat dalam menambah pengetahuan tentang pentingnya partisipasi perempuan dalam kegiatan kepariwisataan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskiptif kualitatif. Metode ini di gunakan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis modal kerja dan partisipasi perempuan dalam pengembangan pariwisata KEK Mandalika Kuta Lombok Tengah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini diambil dari dua sisi, pertama dari sisi pelayanan/pemberi jasa yaitu Tokoh Masyarakat seperti Pengelola, Tokoh Pemuda dan kedua, dari sisi pedagang souvenir dan kuliner di KEK Mandalika. Dari hasil penelitian kaum perempuan memiliki Modal Manusia dalam bidang Pendidikan dan keterampilan rendah, dikarenakan kaum perempuan masih di pandang stereotip dianggap lemah dan tidak diberikan kesempatan yang sama dalam pengembangan keterampilan. Adapun bentuk partisipasi kaum perempuan masih pada level pemanfaatan sumber daya, khususnya dalam bentuk fasilitas yang disediakan untuk tempat berdagang makan dan minum, serta memberikan layanan akomodasi seperti homestay, sehingga mendapatkan penghasilan tambahan untuk membatu suami dalam memenuhi kebutuhan rumah tangga. Ada beberapa cara untuk meningkatkan modal kaum perempuan dan partisipasi kaum perempuan adalah, dengan memberikan kesempatan yang sama dalam segala bidang, seperti pengembangan Pendidikan, keterampilan dan medapatkan kesempatan yang sama dalam struktur organisasi pengembangan pariwisata KEK Mandalika

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman, serta merumuskan upaya-upaya yang diperlukan agar masyarakat dapat lebih efektif dalam mengelola Sarhunta di KEK Mandalika. Jenis penelitian yaitu kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara terstruktur, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi serta menganalisis data menggunakan analisis SWOT (strength weakness, opportunity, and threat). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sarhunta di KEK Mandalika memiliki beberapa keunggulan, seperti lokasi yang strategis, fasilitas yang memadai, layanan yang ramah dan personal, serta reputasi yang baik di kalangan wisatawan. Namun, ada juga beberapa kelemahan yang perlu diatasi, termasuk keterbatasan dana, promosi yang kurang efektif, dan keterampilan sumber daya manusia yang masih terbatas. Peluang yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat antara lain peningkatan tren wisata lokal dan autentik, dukungan pemerintah, kemajuan teknologi dan pemasaran digital, serta peningkatan pariwisata domestik. Di sisi lain, ancaman yang perlu diantisipasi meliputi persaingan yang ketat, risiko bencana alam, isu keamanan, dampak lingkungan, dan potensi perubahan fungsi Sarhunta menjadi hunian pribadi. Upaya yang diperlukan dalam mengoptimalkan pengelolaan Sarhunta di KEK Mandalika yaitu Pertama, dengan Memaksimalkan Lokasi Strategis di KEK Mandalika, Pengembangan Usaha Lanjutan, dan Memanfaatkan Tren Wisata Lokal. Kedua, Meningkatkan Reputasi untuk Menghadapi Persaingan Usaha dan Antisipasi Isu Lingkungan. Ketiga, yaitu dengan cara Peningkatan Keterampilan Pengelola Sarhunta dan Pengelolaan Dana dan Promosi. Keempat, yaitu dengan cara Mencegah Penurunan Fungsi Sarhunta dan Mitigasi Dampak Bencana dan Keamanan.
