Abstract

The purpose of this research to is generate data on personal competence level counselors in Semarang state high schools in implementing guidance and counseling services, and  whether there are differences by terms of services and educational background. The population of this study is Semarang state high school counselors. Data collection methods used is a psychological scale with personal competence counselors scale as an instrument. Data analysis technique used is descriptive-percentage analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that personal competence level of Semarang state high school counselors in implementing guidance and counseling services are in the high category (74,35%), and there are differences on personality competence counselor in Semarang state high schools in implementing guidance and counseling services by terms of services and educational background.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out whether cognitive behavior therapy group counseling was effective to improve control beliefs and reduce students’ academic burnout. This study was experimental research with randomized pretest – posttest control group design. 28 of 427 selected students be the subjects of this study and were divided into 4 groups, including 2 experimental groups and 2 control groups. Manucova analysis and Wilcoxon test were used to analyzed the data of this study. Eventually, the results of this study informed that cognitive behavioral therapy group counseling with cognitive restructuring technique was effective to improve control beliefs (F (1.23) = 14.335, p<0.05) and reduce academic burnout (F (1.23) = 556.495, p<0.05). In other words, this study successfully generalized the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy group counseling service with cognitive restructuring technique in improving control beliefs ability and reducing academic burnout.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Remaja merupakan pengguna sosial media yang aktif, oleh karena itu remaja dapat memanfaatkan media sosial salah satunya sebagai tempat berbagi edukasi kesehatan dengan membuat media edukasi melalui desain grafis menggunakan aplikasi canva dan capcut. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini agar remaja dapat memanfaatkan media sosial untuk berbagi edukasi terkait kesehatan dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi desain grafis sebagai alat untuk membuat media edukasi. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan di wilayah Kelurahan Limbungan Baru, Kota Pekanbaru. Metode yang dipergunakan dalam pelatihan ini dengan pemberian materi dan demonstrasi terkait cara pembuatan media edukasi, pendampingan kepada remaja, dan evaluasi terkait pembuatan media edukasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan responden sebelum dan setelah dilakukan pelatihan pemanfaatan media sosial pada remaja. Kata Kunci: Remaja, Pelatihan, Media Sosial, Edukasi Kesehatan  ABSTRACT Teenagers are active social media users, therefore teenagers can utilize social media, one of which is as a place to share health education by creating educational media through graphic design using the Canva and Capcut applications. The purpose of this community service is so that teenagers can utilize social media to share health-related education by utilizing graphic design applications as a tool to create educational media. This training activity was carried out in the Limbungan Baru Village area, Pekanbaru City. The method used in this training was to provide material and demonstrations related to how to create educational media, mentoring teenagers, and evaluations related to creating educational media. The results of the training showed an increase in respondent knowledge before and after training on the use of social media for teenagers. Keywords: Adolescents, Training, Social Media, Health Education

Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between room head supervision and nurses’ compliance in implementing fall risk prevention in the inpatient room at Arifin Achmad Hospital. Methods: This research used a descriptive correlative design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 76 respondents, selected using the total sampling technique. Supervision was measured using a 28-item questionnaire, consisting of 17 favorable items and 11 unfavorable items, with a Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient of 0.912. Nurse compliance was measured using a 9-item questionnaire, with a Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient of 0.973. Data were analyzed using bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. Results: The results of the study showed that 39 nurses (51.3%) were in the compliant category in implementing fall risk prevention. Most of the compliant nurses received good supervision from the head room, as reported by 29 nurses (72.5%). Meanwhile, among the 37 nurses (48.7%) in the less compliant category, the majority received poor supervision from the head room, as stated by 26 nurses (72.2%). The statistical test results showed a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected. Conclusions: It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between head room supervision and nurses’ compliance in implementing fall risk prevention in the inpatient rooms of Arifin Achmad Hospital.
