Abstract

Software Defined Network (SDN) has been developed over the last few years with the aim to simplify complexity in computer network. SDN's concept also developed to other kind of computer network including wireless network that really popular nowadays. The popularity of wireless network is caused by the simplicity and mobility that possible so there is no limitation for user's movement. But in the other hand, mobility also adds more challenges and really effected to the quality of wireless network performance. So, mobility is an important factor to considered when measuring wireless network performance. In this research, analysis of node mobility in SDN-wireless based or Software Defined Wireless Network (SDWN) has been done. The analysis is done by measuring network performance metrics specifically throughput, packet loss, and delay with Random Direction, Random Walk, and Random Way Point mobility model. The measurement is done at different velocity of node that is 5m/s, 10m/s, 15m/s, 20m/s, and 25m/s. The result shows that the highest throughput value 9.63 Mbps is gain in Random Direction at maximum velocity 25m/s, but it shows different result when the test is redone with 6.46 Mbps as highest throughput in Random Way Point that is caused by the instability of emulator. In the other hand, Random Way Point has the lowest packet loss 2116.2 packets at 25m/s and the lowest delay 51.056ms at 20m/s. The results show unstable value because of the emulator instability.

Abstract

The use of internet network access around the world has a very rapid development. A lot of information is taken very easily. the existence of the internet can have adverse impact and have a good impact for its users. With this problem, we need a step to analyze the amount of development criteria internet users by collecting all the information activities requested by users by using a squid server that will be able to Classify the grouping of Internet user character types using naive bayes algorithm. The Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC) can form a probability table as the basis of a classification process that can predict and provide recommendations for processes processed with optimum value. Test results will affect the data classification factors taken in determining the results of the classification. Once found the value of the category naive bayes, then the mikrotik router will be blocking websites containing negative content. From the results of research and testing the determination of clustering can yield the value of Naive Bayes algorithm with accuracy level up to a maximum value of 98.2%.

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network is a wireless networking technology that connects multiple sensor nodes into a single network that work together to perform specific functions and objectives. In a network there is a set of rules that underlie the performance of the network itself, the rule is called protocol. OLSR is one of the proactive routing protocols. Unlike the LSR, the OLSR protocol applies the Multi Point Relay (MPR) mechanism to prevent duplicate message reception. In this research the implementation of OLSR protocol on Arduino Pro Mini and NRF24L01 is done to see how OLSR protocol performance in Arduino device and NRF24L01. The implementation will be divided based on the package message according to OLSR protocol. The results of this study indicate that the OLSR protocol can be implemented in Arduino Pro Mini and NRF24L01 devices. The results of this study indicate that the OLSR protocol can be implemented well on base station nodes and node sensing, which consists of Arduino Pro Mini and NRF24L01 devices. The packages used on the system are HELLO, MPR packets, mpr_info packets and sensor data packets. In addition, in the system there are several processes that update the routing table, forwarding and MPR node selection. Tests for HELLO packets, MPR packets and data sensor packets overall have a 100% success percentage. In addition, the authors also tested the convergence time of the protocol with an average value of 46002,9ms.

Abstract

Rubbish is things that can't be used anymore and it is usually dirty and smelly. A pack of rubbishes in trash bin produce gasses that can give bad impacts to health, like methane (CH4), ammonia (NH3), and hydrogen sulphide (H2S). If the methane concentration is too high, then it will cause asphyxiation and fire. Besides that, rubbish volume also should be noticed because it can cause uncomfortable environment condition if the rubbish has exceeded the volume of trash bin. This research will design a technology system which can help the owner of trash bin to know the trash bin condition in real time and continuously. That system observes the rubbish volume and gases produced by sensors of NH3, CH4, H2S and infrared E18-DN80NK, by using Real Time Operating System (RTOS). RTOS is used as one of the sensor readings and delivery tasks that are handled by the microcontroller in real-time. From the results of 10x testing done on the rotten garbage is known to read the sensor MQ-135 has an average ammonia level of 35.71 PPM, MQ-4 has a methane content of 293.5 PPM, TGS2602 has 9.738 PPM of hydrogen sulphide and Infrared E18-DN80NK sensor can detect the height of the waste by output above the threshold (waste exceeds the sensor limit) and below threshold when the waste has not exceeded the sensor limit. So the level of gas produced by waste is methane gas.

Abstract

In general, Internet of Things can be interpreted as connecting various objects around with an internet network. To implement it, the Internet of Things requires a communication path to suit the needs of the system. One protocol that suits the application of the concept of Internet of Things is the Message Queue Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol. The MQTT protocol is often used in systems that use the concept of the Internet of Things, one of which is the monitoring system. One aspect of life that requires a monitoring system is a natural disaster. From various natural disasters that occurs Indonesia, Flood is a natural disaster that quite often hit many cities in Indonesia. Therefore, this research implements the concept of Internet of Things on flood monitoring system using MQTT protocol. Based on test results, it is concluded that MQTT protocol can be used in flood monitoring system. The accuracy of the system is 97.801% with obtained standard deviation is ± 0.0309 cm. In scalability testing, obtained the average percentage of success rate of 100%, 99.87% and 99.93% on thread trials 100, 250 and 500, which each performed 3 times. And on data integrity testing, the MQTT protocol obtains the same 100% data in each experiment with intervals of 10ms, 100ms and 1000ms.

Abstract

Most of systems that we use nowadays still implement single database server architecture. It makes database server incapable in handling many requests. Horizontal scaling that is done with additional processing units such as nodes, instances, or even containers is a solution in increasing performance of a system in handling many requests. Load balancer is needed as a system that will be used to distribute data requests to the system of database server. In this research, the author tried to solve the problem by implementing load balancing database server in container-based virtualization. Load balancing runs using load balancer and nodeport features that provided by Kubernetes. With each of the replicas connected in a centralized storage system, it makes the data consistent. The result shows that the performance of database server is increased, with throughput that was obtained from load of 750 per second was (61,3 request per second) in 2 replicas, (61,3 request per second) in 3 replicas, (64,6 request per second) in 4 replicas, and (65.,6 request per second) in 5 replicas.

Abstract

Home security is a matter of privacy, many people keep property at home. Many criminal acts and increasing from year to year make people become uneasy. One such crime is theft in a house left behind by the inhabitants. To overcome the crime of theft is needed a security system in an empty house. However, home security systems made so far still have many drawbacks such as, security is only focused on one point, security guard rental to keep the house at risk of theft with violence, installing CCTV at risk of the perpetrator can damage CCTV so difficult in observation. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is an embedded system equipment in which there is one or more sensors and equipped with communication system equipment. By utilizing WSN technology can be made home security system that can monitor many points and communication between points done wirelessly. Transceiver module used in this research is wifi module ESP8266 and protocol that used is Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP). Based on the results of tests conducted on wireless delivery has a success rate of 100% at a distance of 5 meters between the point of installation of sensors with human objects, and at a distance of 6 meters sensors can detect but has a success rate of 70%. Based on the results of testing the system as a whole, the system can be controlled and provide reports through android applications online with a success rate of 100%.

Abstract

A group of several node that have the ability to gather data, process, store data, and communicate between the node referred to by a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). To meet the needs of the wsn in communicating at all conditions required the routing protocol must suspense the conditions needed. Some examples of the routing algorithm that already there are gossiping and directed diffusion. This research is done to compare the performance of routing protocol directed diffusion protocol with routing gossiping. Each routing protocol will be tested using network simulator-2. The results of this research will show the value of the end-to-end delay, packet delivery ratio and routing overhead of the routing protocol directed diffusion as well as routing protocol gossiping. From the test results, the results show that directed diffusion is better in a number of parameters such as a higher level of PDR in static and mobile conditions and also the average end-to-end delay value in static conditions, while gossiping is superior to the average end-to-parameter end delay on mobile conditions and routing overhead level on static and mobile conditions. It can be concluded that each routing protocol, both directed diffusion and gossiping, has the advantage of each parameter depending on the condition of the area needed in the field.

Abstract

Nowadays, mushroom cultivations are growing rapidly in the society. Mushrooms have been becoming the popular groceries because of it's affordable price for all people. In it's growth process, Mushroom will need two main factors in order to grow properly; which are : temperature and humidity of the room. These two factors need to be controlled continuously to fit the ideal value limit. The ideal temperature for mushroom growth ranges between 25-30 â—‹C and the air humidity ranges between 60-90%. To overcome these problems, we proposed a system that can continuosly monitor temperature and humidity of mushroom house using MQTT protocol. To detect temperature and humidity, DHT-22 sensor is used. The sensor data will be processed by Arduino microcontroller and then sent using ESP8266-01 Wi-fi module which connected through the Wi-fi network to the Thingsboard server using MQTT protocol. Finally the data will be displayed in the form of charts and graphs. We evaluate the system using the delay test by calculating the time required by each sensor to process and read the data until the data is sent and displayed on the Thingsboard server. The results of delay test have confirmed that the system takes an average of 1.20 seconds in a single delivery of data to the Thingsboard server.

Abstract

The problem of the web server is many of requests used by the user so that the workload on the server increases quickly resulting in the server down. Loadgbalancing is a techniqueato distribute incoming traffic between available serversaso that requestsxcan beahandled and respond faster. This research uses weighted least connection algorithm. The weighted least connection algorithm divides the server load based on the weight value. Software Defined Network Architecture (SDN) is programmable and provides facilities to the Network Administrator to design and implement load balancing strategies without vendor limitations. For implementation use mininet and controller used with POX. Parameters used for testing are connection rate, throughput, and CPU usage. The tool used for testing is httperf. The result of connection rate and throughput testing by giving client request 3000 with the rate of 75, 150, and 300 with the highest connection rate is 296,28 Conn/s, the lowest response time is 2,34 ms and the highest throughput value is 805,66 KB/s. And the last result of testing CPU usage, server 1 has a value of 21.6%, server 2 has a value of 24.6%, and server 3 has a value of 26.3%.
