Abstract

Purpose: The present study focuses on the development of a robust fish freshness classification system based on the application of different digital image processing techniques from mackerel tuna eye images toward better classification. Methods: Contrast stretching and histogram equalization were done to improve image quality before the classification. The system contained 250 training images in a dataset, for five freshness classes which are 3, 6, 9, 12, and 15 hours post-catch, with 50 test images. For classification, the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm was employed with a parameter setting of K = 5, ensuring effective differentiation between the various freshness levels based on the enhanced image features. Result: The results depicted very low MSE values after enhancement at 6 hours, as low as MSE = 0.0012606 and PSNR = 28.9944 dB for contrast stretching, and for 12 hours, histogram equalization gave the best results, MSE = 0.0030712 and PSNR = 25.127 dB. Further, classification done through the KNN classifier with K=5 gave results with accuracy as high as 100% was achieved on the testing data, proving that the model was successfully able to identify the classes of freshness. Novelty: The novelty in the present research work is the integration of advanced image-processing techniques, which allow the achievement of an improved level of detection of fish freshness and a very useful solution to the seafood industry in view of product quality and safety assurance. Generally, the paper epitomizes an important milestone in the application of machine learning and image processing for the assessment of the quality of foods.

Abstract

Employee performance is the level of achievement or work results of a person from the goals that must be achieved or implemented must be in accordance with their respective responsibilities in a certain period of time. Performance satisfaction is the level of one's feelings after comparing the performance or the results he feels compared to his expectations. Sagulung Subdistrict is one of the densely populated sub-districts in Batam city, based on the results of community interviews about the performance of employees in Sagulung sub-district, the results show that the quality of services they receive varies. Hospitality of employees when serving the community is also different between one employee and another employee, besides that community satisfaction with employee performance also varies so that the community's satisfaction with the performance of employees in Sagulung sub-district cannot be concluded. Fuzzy logic using the mamdani method is one method to determine community satisfaction with employee performance in Sagulung sub-district. Based on the results of testing of the data that has been processed, the results of manual calculations are 68.4162 while for the system testing using matlab the results are 68.7. Based on the results of these tests, it can be concluded that fuzzy logic meetode mamdani can be used to determine community satisfaction with employee performance in Sagulung sub-district.

Abstract

Technological developments are currently growing, one of which is augmented reality which is popular with the community, many companies have started using augmented reality to offer goods and food. Therefore, Foodcourt A2 needs to use augmented reality in order to attract customer attention in food selection through the application. The method used is the waterfall method which consists of requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The result of this study is an android-based food menu selection information system that makes it easier for customers to choose food menus.

Abstract

Employees are one of the most important assets for a company. With the satisfaction of employees for the company, it is possible for employees to provide the best for the company. Attendance is an important role in every work agency. Where attendance is one of the main supports that can support and motivate every work activity carried out in it. currently running an attendance system using manual attendance, namely using manual paper. This can result in several mistakes from both the shop and the employee, such as ineffectiveness due to using paper, forgetting the contents of the absence, not being recorded at the time of reporting in one month, or missing paper used. It can also cause carelessness for employees because of the risk of being absent when using manual attendance (paper) which causes manipulation of absent data. By using a QR Code, employees only need to print a QR code using a Smartphone or use a company device that employees can scan using a QR code. In this study, the method used is the waterfall method using Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. Then this application is designed with the help of tools from Android Studio and MySQL. Abstract

Method at calculating the cost of production is very important in manufacturing companies, one of them is a companies engaging in the furniture sector. This is because calculation the cost of production related to the determination the sells prices of the products. Technological developments also grow up very fast, so this some human work can be replaced by application system, such as calculation the cost of production. The method of calculating the costs of productions manually cannot optimally calculate the required cost. One of the good ideas is the applications of activity based costing in determining the selling price of furniture. With the implementation of activity based costing in calculate the cost of production, companies can get the maximum profit.

Abstract

Showcase Cooler is a cooling machine that is used to preserve drinks and food so that they can be stored longer. In making repairs to the cooling machine currently still using paper which results in errors in recording data, wasteful use of paper because they have to recap data to be distributed to other parts. Android is a complex technology because it uses open source as the basis for the project that makes the smartphone operating system widely used today. The support for the software used in developing this application, namely Andoid Studio is a development software for developing android applications, Java functions as a programming language used to create software, and SQLite is a database that uses the user's internal storage device. This study uses the Black Box Testing method or functional testing because testing the software used without having to know the internal structure of the code or program. The resulting application is an android-based damage and repair recording system that is used for maintenance. Utilization of this technology so that maintenance can record repair damage to the machine using an Android-based smartphone in order to save on textbooks or paper media.

Abstract

Indonesian people are very enthusiastic about the existence of culinary that varies in shape and type so that it has the attraction of someone to try it, in this day and age not only women who love to cook but men are also very much fond of making culinary with traditional recipes. Cooking a traditional culinary is very necessary knowledge about compounding recipes such as processing and formulating ingredients that will be used as food or culinary benefits for everyone, So it is necessary food recipes that can later help in the process of preparing cooking ingredients, how to make and how to render so as to produce an image of good taste, savory and nutritious. In this study, the aim is so that people, especially housewives, can use traditional Indonesian cuisine with android-based. Software used in the development of this application is construct2 by using UML, this cooking recipe application is based on android so that it can be used on smartphones owned.

Abstract

Attendance system has been widely used for schools, universities, even in companies. This system can also help HR / Human Resources in calculating data from employees, especially when approaching payday. PT Prima Nusantara Group carries out the employee attendance process by writing his name in the attendance book and signing it every day. No difficulty was found in inputting employee absent data, but the time required was very long so that it interfered with the effectiveness and efficiency of the admin in working. One of the most frequently used biometric technologies in attendance systems except for retinal recognition, finger print and eye scans is facial recognition. Face recognition performed using the eigenface algorithm method when extracted using principle component analysis (PCA) can produce a very high accuracy of face recognition reaching 90.83%. The eigenface method from openCV looks for facial data that is close to the facial data in the database. At this testing stage, the eigenface algorithm has been successfully applied in an employee attendance system with facial recognition to detect faces with the help of openCV. Face recognition process with the eigenface method is known to be sensitive because it depends on light intensity, distance and viewing angle.

Abstract

The development of information technology in graphic design has opened many opportunities for vocational high school students to acquire skills that will be used in the workplace. This program aims to provide comprehensive training covering theoretical and practical aspects of product poster design using the Canva application for class X office automation and management students at SMK Cendekia Batujajar. The training method combines face-to-face learning, technical demonstrations, and hands-on practicum sessions. The activity was conducted on May 7, 2025, involving 37 students (4 male, 33 female) in the school's computer laboratory. The training materials covered product poster concepts, design functions in business, basic graphic design principles and introduction to Canva usage. Evaluation was conducted through online quizzes using Kahoot.it and practical design assignments. The results showed high participant enthusiasm evidenced by active discussions with instructors and utilization of break time for additional practicum. The school provided positive feedback and expressed hope for similar activities in the future. This training successfully enhanced students' graphic design competencies and provided new knowledge about design concepts and principles in poster creation.

Abstract

While machine learning-based chatbots hold significant potential in healthcare services, a comprehensive synthesis regarding their roles, user demographics, benefits, and limitations remains unavailable, hindering in-depth understanding and future development. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis to identify implementation trends and the research landscape of ML-based chatbot models in healthcare, simultaneously highlighting relevant existing gaps. Analysis of Scopus data using VOSviewer and “Publish or Perish” reveals “machine learning”, “chatbot” and “healthcare” as dominant keywords, indicating intensive research focus areas with stable publication growth. The United States emerges as a central hub for international research collaboration, particularly in AI for malnutrition; however, several outlier countries require further integration. Deep learning algorithms are identified as a crucial methodological trend for future directions. Chatbots possess the potential to revolutionize healthcare by enhancing accessibility and efficiency. Nevertheless, effective implementation necessitates careful consideration of ethical aspects, privacy, and data quality. The identified research gaps underscore the urgency for a holistic synthesis to guide responsible and effective chatbot innovation.
