Abstract

An automatic gate is a door whose operation process runs automatically using a remote drive tool, but when combined with IoT elements, it means that users can control the automatic gate using a cell phone or mobile phone. The purpose of this research is to create a prototype of an automatic gate control system based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The method used in the current research is the prototype method. The results in this study were tested to determine the range. Testing is done using an adapter connected to a power supply. The testing process is carried out by observing the movement and response of the servo motor when controlled via a smartphone and the stepper motor when the Ultrasonic sensor detects an object less than 5 cm. The conclusion of this research is that at a distance of 1 to 19 meters, the gate lock can still be controlled properly. While at a distance of 20 meters when the gate lock is open, the gate opens and closes. This is because the WiFi signal cannot be captured properly by the central controller of the circuit at a distance of more than 19 meters.

Abstract

A good and quality education in a university is to carry out Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi activities regularly, one of these activities is research. Research is very useful and helps to improve the quality of education in a university. The scientific repertoire of each lecturer is certainly different, meaning that the researches that exist in the Higher Education environment have different diversity. Research in the Bandung TEDC Polytechnic environment is currently quite diverse because it has 12 different sciences. However, the research conducted by TEDC Bandung Polytechnic lecturers has not met expectations, it still needs improvement in terms of facilities and infrastructure for research activities. One of them is an Information System for managing Research in the Bandung TEDC Polytechnic environment. The purpose of this research is how to design a research information system at the Bandung TEDC Polytechnic, while the method used in this research is an Object Oriented Technology method. Based on the research objectives previously described, the results of the research at this time are designs that are made according to the needs as a means and infrastructure for Lecturer Research activities. It can be concluded that the design that has been made can facilitate the preparation of facilities and infrastructure in the Bandung TEDC Polytechnic environment.

Abstract

Kebutuhan pangan setiap manusia hampir setiap hari, maka terbentuklah proses jual beli. Ada Penjual dan pembeli kebutuhan pokok atau sekunder. Salah satu kebutuhan pokok pada pangan yaitu cabai. Cabai beraneka ragam, diantaranya cabai merah, cabai hijau, dan cabai rawit. Cabai yang sangat diminati oleh konsumen adalah cabai merah, karena rata-rata makanan yang menggunakan sambal supaya tidak terlalu pedas adalah cabai merah, selain itu warna merah yang menggoda pada makanan membuat selera makan akan tergoda walau hanya dilihat dari tampilan makanan tersebut. Namun cabai merah dapat mencapai harga tinggi apabila dibeli pada hari raya besar, seperti lebaran, dan hari natal serta tahun baru. Pengaruh lain apabila cabai mengalami musim hujan dengan curah hujan yang sangat tinggi dan musim kemarau yang cukup panjang. Selain itu tanaman cabai dapat dikatakan cukup sensitif, perawatannya pun harus diperhatikan dengan baik. Hal tersebut diatas yang dapat membuat harga cabai akan melambung tinggi. Konsumen harus cermat dalam membeli kebutuhan pangan ini, apabila harga sedang tinggi, cara mudah adalah memprediksi harga yang akan terjadi dimasa datang dengan bantuan aplikasi jaringan syaraf tiruan. Berdasarkan data diatas, maka rumusan masalah penelitian yaitu bagaimana memprediksi harga cabai menggunakan jaringan syaraf tiruan, dengan tujuan untuk memprediksi harga cabai menggunakan jaringan syaraf tiruan.

Abstract

The Great Mosque of Al-Muhajirin founded in 2013 is one of the Jami Mosque categories, which usually functions as a center for religious activities in residential areas, villages or sub-districts. However, until now, this mosque does not yet have an integrated information system to manage activities, disseminate information, process finance and process data accurately. This deficiency complicates management in mosque management. To overcome these problems or deficiencies, a website-based mosque management and financial information system was created using the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), the CodeIgniter framework and using the MySQL database. The stages of the research include needs analysis, system design, system implementation and system testing using the blackbox method and user acceptance test (UAT). UAT results show that 92% of respondents and the community stated that the website was suitable for use by the wider community. This system makes it easy for mosque administrators to manage mosque management effectively and provides accessibility for the public to get information about mosque announcements and activities from anywhere and at any time. With the creation of this information system, the Great Mosque of Al-Muhajirin will be more efficient and open in managing activities, information and finances as well as getting closer to the wider community.

Abstract

Keterbatasan finansial yang dimiliki oleh sebuah panti asuhan, membuat terbatasnya operasional yang ada. Maka dari itu, panti asuhan membutuhkan bantuan dari donator-donatur yang berkeinginan membantu mereka. Namun, donator tersebut terkadang menginginkan adanya transparasi dana yang telah disalurkan oleh donator. Dengan adanya website untuk berdonasi, dapat menjadi solusi karena bisa dengan mudah di akses kapanpun dan dimanapun oleh perangkat komputer atau mobile hanya dengan menggunakan internet dan search engine. Metode perancangan aplikasi yang digunakan untuk membuat aplikasi donasi ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode Waterfall. Framework yang digunakan adalah Laravel, Vuejs dan NodeJs, Database MySQL dan Payment Gateway (midtrans). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sistem User Acceptance Test (UAT) bahwa aplikasi ini terbukti dapat diterima dengan baik oleh pengguna dengan nilai persentase mencapai 93,3%, yang menunjukan bahwa aplikasi berbasis web ini dapat di terima dengan baik.

Abstract

The phenomenon of pornoaction and pornography is increasingly concerning in the Industry 5.0 era, characterized by rapid advancements in digital technology and unlimited access to information. Muhammadiyah, one of the largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia, employs a strategic approach to tackle this issue by integrating Islamic values, fatwas from the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), and national regulations. This paper examines Muhammadiyah’s implementation of character education and digital literacy programs, alongside a strategic analysis of pornography prevention through case studies and synergy with legal policies. The findings indicate that Muhammadiyah’s approach effectively builds moral resilience in society and adapts well to the digital challenges of Industry 5.0.

Abstract

The rise of political discourse on Indonesian social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter) creates opportunities and challenges for policymakers. Existing sentiment analysis methods often fail to handle informal language, slang, and sarcasm, leading to frequent misclassification that may misguide governance decisions. This study aims to establish the first benchmark for three-class sentiment analysis (positive, neutral, negative) in Indonesian political discourse using a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model with culture-specific preprocessing. A dataset of 1,002 tweets on the performance of the Governor of West Java (Feb–May 2025) was collected, normalized for slang and typos, and enriched with a political lexicon. Manual annotation achieved high agreement (κ = 0.82). An LSTM model with 128 units and 30% dropout was trained and evaluated. Results show 95.88% training accuracy but only 36.32% validation accuracy, indicating severe overfitting. Misclassifications (42%) mainly stemmed from sarcasm and contextual ambiguity, with the lowest precision in the positive class (31%). The study contributes by (1) providing the first benchmark for Indonesian political sentiment, (2) demonstrating the value of culture-specific preprocessing, and (3) offering policy insights into latent dissatisfaction hidden in neutral tweets. Limitations include small dataset size and lack of sarcasm-aware mechanisms, suggesting future exploration of hybrid and transformer-based models.
